When I Speak To The Plants, They Speak Back!
The plants are conscious and are very talkative! They can talk to you via their fairy, the spiritual part of the plant. I really do walk around the garden having conversations with the plants!

Six on Saturday – Unexpected Spring Extension 30🌸12🌸23
After the unexpected torrential flooding rains a few weeks ago, the garden, which was gearing up for a droughty shorter spring, has unexpectedly extended into another month and then some! I had been so delighted that I did not need to have worried about colour in the garden for Christmas, there was an abundance of everything! After a quite dry spring we had 2 days of torrential downpours with a whole months worth of rainfall in one day. Doing no end of good to the garden, things that were teetering on the brink, like a few new citrus trees suddenly have burst forth into new leaf growth. I know they will now survive into adulthood and thrive. My poor Variegated Cumquat which I had moved a few times had sat in the ground, sulking, with only one almost leaf on it and greens stems. So I knew it was alive, now after this rain all at once, it obtained the good establishment drink that it needed. Now it won’t look back! Usually we receive rains over the month and most of it is evaporated off in the heat, so an unexpected torrential downpour could really reach the plants in the back recess of the garden that were just beyond the hose’s reach, like these new little Citrus trees.

The Little Citrus trees that were planted this year a Mini Grapefruit and Lisbon Lemon have now put on some good establishment growth, that will assure their survival. The variegated Cumquat is starting to leaf up too after a few garden moves.
The Back garden is looking bright and pretty after the rains. The Standard roses burst into boom.
A big hurrah goes to the Trumphinator Oriental/Trumpet Lily Hybrid which has flowered continuously in it’s pot for 4 weeks in a row! She has beautiful fragrant blooms! The first blooms were its baby division lily which flowered first for 2 weeks and then the parent itself has flowered itself for 2 weeks! Thank you Lily! Lovely Climbing rose Sweet Laguna.
The Pelargoniums have gone bonkers in the rain, here is a staff pelargonium and the lovely coral pink and white Mrs Wren pelargonium.
I love the pretty leaf contrast of the Flowering Prunus tree, Prunus Nigra with a Dusty Millar Centaurea. Plus two pretty butterfly Regal Pelargoniums.
I recently painted the front facade of the chicken shed lilac purple, as you do! This is an accidental match to the white Feverfew plants and Mauve Petunias in a pot and a Lemon Rose Scented Pelargonium.
Plus one extra photo. This is the Christmas Tree Pavolova I made with my daughter all with strawberries from my garden for the first time! It tasted great and was a big hit with the family!
