Wellness Wednesday – Heart Donors feel the donor’s feelings and have flashes of past events!

Medical experts have discovered that recipients of heart transplants can actually feel the donor’s feelings and have flashes of past events of the donor’s life. Recipients have suddenly picked up a musical instrument that the donor used to play. Recipients have also drastically changed their eating habits based on the donor’s food preferences.

How is that possible? The heart is the first organ to develop and function in the fetus while the brain does not develop for another 70 days. Neuro-cardiologists are referring to the heart as the “second” brain since 60-65% of the heart is made of neurons, which are specific cells that carry messages to the brain and other parts of the body. Thus, the memories of the donors are stored in their heart and not just in their brain.

When you are physically or emotionally stressed, the rhythms of your heart are out of balance and not cohesive. This unbalanced energy pattern is communicated to every cell and organ of your body. Your body’s electromagnetic field is also affected and weakened. This “heart intelligence” plays a major role in your overall health.

If your thoughts are gloomy and negative, your heart fields and your energy fields will be weakened. On the flip side, if you are enjoying a beautiful sunset, hugging someone you love or engaging in a calming activity like prayer or meditation, your heart field and energy will be stronger and balanced.

Transplant Stories

For example:

A 47-year-old Caucasian male received a heart from a 17-year-old African-American male. The recipient was surprised by his new-found love of classical music. He discovered later that the donor, who loved classical music and played the violin, had died in a drive-by shooting, clutching his violin case to his chest.

A man of 25 received a woman’s heart and now (to the delight of his girlfriend) has a consistent and powerful need to shop.

Paul Oldam, a lawyer from Milwaukee, received the heart of a 14-year-old boy and inherited a strange new craving for Snickers.

A seven-year-old girl had recurring nightmares about being killed after receiving the heart of another child who had been murdered. Her descriptions of the murderer as well as the murder weapon led to the arrest and conviction of the killer.

The Heart-Wall

There may have been times in your own life where you have felt that physical sensation we refer to as “heartache.” This feeling of pressure or discomfort in the chest and throat occurs when the deepest part of us is under assault, typically when someone is hurting us or were feeling a deep sense of grief, hurt or loss. I believe that the heart is actually the core of our being, just like the ancients believed. And I think that the spirit with in us does not like this feeling, this assault on our core. I believe that if you have this experience more than a couple of times in your life that your subconscious mind will form an “energy wall” to protect your heart against further heartache and against further assault. We refer to this wall of energy as the “Heart-Wall.”

How the Heart-Wall was Discovered – by Dr. Bradley Nelson

A number of years ago I was helping my wife interpret a dream that she had been given. There were three symbols in her dream, each of which represented a particular issue that needed to be dealt with. After dealing with the first two issues, I turned my attention to the third symbol from her dream, and I suddenly had what I can only describe to you as a “waking vision.” I suddenly saw before me a beautiful hardwood floor, gleaming with many coats of polish. This “vision” lasted for several minutes. At the same time that I was seeing this floor before me, I was given a very clear understanding in my mind that my wife’s heart was “under” this hardwood floor. As you might imagine, I had absolutely no idea what any of this meant!

I told my wife what I was experiencing. Together, we prayed for understanding, and then we began testing and asking questions to try to determine the meaning of this vision. What we found not only changed her life, that is since changed many lives around the world, and was such a profound discovery that I believe it is destined to change this entire planet.

My wife had been born into a very volatile family. Her father was a “rageaholic,” and we found that by age 2, her subconscious mind it started to put up a “wall” around her little heart to protect it from being totally broken. Over the years that followed, additional layers of emotional energy were added to this Heart-Wall.

One of the more amazing discoveries of modern science is that when a person feels love or affection for another person, the heartbeat of the person sending that love or affection becomes measurable in the magnetic brain waves of the recipient.

Think about this for a moment. There is a communication taking place between all of us, all the time. The human heart is both the sender of information and a receiver of information. The heart is a sender of the energy that we call “love,” and a receiver of that same energy.

But what if you have a Heart-Wall?

My wife paid a heavy price for having that Heart-Wall all those years. She’d always felt a bit numb to emotions. She always wondered why she couldn’t feel things as deeply as other people. When she was with friends, she never quite felt like she really belonged. Even the people she’d known all of her life, she always felt somewhat expendable, as if she were on the outside looking in. Until her heart wall was released, that is.

When the last trapped emotion was released from her Heart-Wall, she suddenly had the sensation that she belonged. That she was on the inside looking out in her social relationships. Emotions took on a new richness and she was able to feel on a new level.

I have found that the Heart-Wall hampers your ability to give and receive love and to feel good emotions. Having a Heart-Wall contributes to feelings of isolation, and can create depression as well as other problems.

My experience is that approximately 93% of people have a Heart-Wall! do you?

What Happens When you Get Rid of Your Heart-Wall?

Find Love!

“As I reflect back on the time after my Heart-Wall cleared, I realize things weren’t the same. I began to open myself to the idea of having someone in my life “to have and to hold” and to care for as he would care for me. It happened on the feeling level. Finding someone to share my life with just felt like the next step. There was a new readiness that I hadn’t felt before. It must have been the removal of that invisible wall – that I had not even known was there – that allowed me to let this wonderful man in. So for all of you who think women cannot marry after “a certain age,” get your Heart-Wall cleared, stay open to the possibilities life has to offer and remember my story. We are now approaching our 5th anniversary, have just moved into our new home on the California Coast overlooking the ocean and Catalina Island and are living the fairy tale.” Thank you, Dr. Nelson. – Lynn R., California

Feel Better!

“I now feel safe inside deeply in my body, heart and mind. I also feel comfortable in crowds. The deep deep sadness, anger and confusion I felt my whole life is gone. Gone gone gone….thank you from the bottom of my (now heart-wall free) heart!” – Lalonnie

Overcome Depression!

“My son was diagnosed as being clinically depressed at only nine years old. Nothing was helping him… If skepticism had kept me away from this type of treatment, I would still be parenting a very sad and frustrated little boy with no solution in sight. Instead, I have found a treatment that has literally saved him. Thank you!!” – Connie J.

What About Success?

If you’re like most people, when you graduated from high school or college somebody probably told you to “Follow Your Heart.” I believe that this is the best advice that anyone could ever give you. But what if you have a Heart-Wall?

Your ability to find success will be hampered if you have a Heart-Wall. Many people have found success after having their Heart-Wall removed!

“I´m feeling an awesome difference since I released my Heart Wall. To begin with, my self-esteem has gone up to the sky. Secondly, I’ve been having one creative idea after the other… I feel the driving force, which seemed to have left me long ago, is back again, with a lot of strength. I cannot really express how grateful I am to you and to God, in first place, that led me to find you and your work.” – Elena

“I was not allowing myself to have financial freedom and while I loved my work, it wasn’t bringing me the financial success I desired. I read the book and found myself doing the processes daily for a few weeks. During that time, so much began to open up… Very soon after, everything began to change in my life. I now have a successful speaking and coaching practice – supporting women in reinventing themselves in midlife. My finances have dramatically altered and even my health has improved. I’ve spent hours in therapy with less dramatic results than this simple practice. Dr. Bradley is onto something huge…! “- Dr. Toni LaMotta

The Big Picture

I believe that the single most important thing you can do for yourself is to get rid of the trapped negative emotions that are forming that “wall” around your heart. The Emotion Code is the only way that I know of to do this. It is the simplest, most efficient method of releasing trapped emotions ever devised. It is easily learned by anyone, without any previous training. The release of trapped emotions is permanent, and it works for all ages.

“The only way we can change this world and bring it to a higher level of civilization is through changing the inhabitants of this earth, one at a time. By helping people to shed their emotional baggage, we transform them back into the pure spirits that they should be, and they become empowered to become who God intended them to become; their pains and phobias, their addictions and self-defeating behaviors fall away, and the pure essence of each individual shines forth from each heart, filling the immensity of space. This is how the world will change; and I guarantee you, it will, one person at a time.”

– Dr. Bradley Nelson

How To Break Up With Emotional Eating!

Emotional eating and overeating can be powerful. Reaching for something to eat when you’re stressed, depressed, anxious, tired, or overwhelmed can feel like second nature. Comfort eating or using food as a reward might just be habits that you don’t even know that you have…. OR it could be connected to childhood programming & trapped negative emotions in the body.

Food is abundant and everywhere… that eating habits become very strong and are automatic. That’s one important reason that willpower (the conscious mind) isn’t a lasting solution and why food plans or diets don’t usually work in the long term.

Most smart women who struggle with emotional eating (stress eating, comfort eating, or eating to avoid or cope with other feelings) make a strategic mistake. They use up their energy and discipline focusing on the wrong thing – food. Breaking free of emotional eating is possible when you look beyond the food and address the reasons cravings and overeating are happening – when you learn to nourish your real needs instead of turning to food.

Some steps you can start to take action on today…

The first step is to ask questions. Practice asking yourself why you are eating or why you are feeling hungry.  Ask your unconscious mind … This helps you identify the root cause of your overeating – and as you begin to understand this root cause (or causes), then, the power dynamics start to change.  And, you can ask – am i physically hungry or do i need love, attention, self care or other?

Once you understand why food has the power that it does in your life, then you can begin to craft new habits in ways that food never will.

Second Step is to identify the trigger.

While hunger tends to come on gradually, cravings related to emotional eating are likely to be abrupt and resulting from situations or circumstances that we are faced with.

Just got off of a stressful phone call? Just had a big project fall through at work? Just walked in the door to fighting kids at the end of an exhausting day?  Being able to recognize the trigger brings awareness and helps you to make a more rational choice.

Making the change with conscious effort and willpower doesn’t always work.  Give Hypnosis a go, working with the unconscious mind where everything is stored just may be the solution you’re looking for!  Our Gastric Band Hypnosis Specialized program for weight loss is seeing great results!

If you want to release negative emotions from the body (connected to food, emotional eating) using energy healing, the emotion code is a modality that can work for anyone!

5 Tips for Emotional Healing

We experience emotional distress in all sorts of ways, as sadness, hurt, fears, anxiety, addictions, unproductive obsessions, unwanted compulsions, repetitive self-sabotaging behaviors, physical ailments, boredom, and as all sorts of angry, bleak, and agitated moods.

What helps a person to heal?  The mental health system says that the following two things help the most: drugs and talk therapy. Setting those two aside, what else helps?

Releasing trapped emotions often results in the sudden disappearance of physical problems, self-sabotage, emotional distress, and recurring relationship difficulties. … This can be done using the emotion code and time line therapy techniques.  You can also follow some of the following tips to help you now…

BE YOU – This means asking for what you want, setting healthy boundaries, having your own beliefs and opinions, standing up for your values, saying what’s on your mind without judgement.

Love and be loved – Part of our nature requires solitude, alone time.  We feel happier, warmer and better, live longer, and experience life as more meaningful if we love and let ourselves be loved. We must be individuals but we must also relate. To do both, to both be ourselves and relate, requires that we acknowledge the reality of others, include others in our plans, not only speak but listen.  Connection is key to happiness, love and life.

Get a grip on your mind – Nothing causes more emotional distress than the thoughts we think. We must do a better job than we usually do of identifying the thoughts that don’t serve us, disputing them and demanding that they go away, and substituting more useful thoughts. Thinking thoughts that do not serve you is the equivalent of serving yourself up emotional distress. Only you can get a grip on your own mind; if you won’t do that work, you will live in distress.

Let go and forgive the past – We are not so completely in control of our being that we can prevent past sore points from returning. We can try to exorcise the past by not playing along with our human tendency to wallow there. We must tell ourselves to move on and mean it. If you have a secret attachment to misery, you will feel miserable. As best you can, imperfectly but with real energy, let go of the past.  Forgive yourself and others for past mistakes and hurts, move forward, its the only way you’re going.

Flip the anxiety switch off – Anxiety ruins our equilibrium, colors our mood, and makes all the already hard tasks of living that much harder. There are many anxiety management strategies you might want to try—breathing techniques, cognitive techniques, relaxation techniques, time line therapy technique for releasing anxiety is one of the easiest to use, anytime, anywhere—Anxiety is a signal from your unconscious mind that you are focusing on what you don’t want.  Ask yourself, what do i want instead and focus soely on that!

What is the Emotion Code & How can it Help Me?

The Emotion Code is the simplest way to get rid of your emotional baggage, helping you feel freer, happier and healthier!

The technique was created and refined by a chiropractor, Dr. Bradley Nelson, who realized that his patients’ aches and pains were more than just physically based- they were emotional. “trapped emotions” – negative energies that become trapped in the body during intense emotional events. Because the body is actually made of pure energy, the negative energy of trapped emotions can exert a damaging force on the body, which worsens over time.

TRAPPED EMOTIONS CAUSE PAIN, SELF-SABOTAGE, EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS AND ALL KINDS OF MALFUNCTION AND DISEASE.

I have been trained to help you discover and release your trapped emotions, which will help your body’s natural ability to heal itself, often resulting in a reversal of the disease process and a disappearance of emotional and physical ailments. The Emotion Code has been able to help ailments such as ….

THE EMOTION CODE HAS HELPED:

Acid Reflux
ADD/ADHD
Addiction
Allergies

Anxiety
Arthritis
Ashtma
Back Pain

Bedwetting
Bell’s Palsy
Blood Pressure Problems
Cancer

Carpal Tunnel
Chronic Fatigue
Chronic Infections
Constipation

Crohn’s Disease
Depression
Diabetes
Digestive Problems

Eating Disorders
Erectile Dysfunction
Fibromyalgia
Frigidity

Headaches
Hip Pain
Hormonal Problems
Hypoglycemia

Impotency
Infertility
Insomnia
Irritable Bowel (IBS)

Knee Pain
Learning Disabilities
Lupus
Morning Sickness

Multiple Sclerosis
Neck Pain
Night Terrors
Obesity/Overweight

Organ Malfunction
Panic Attacks
Parkinson’s Disease
Phobias

PTSD
Sciatica
Sinus Problems
Skin Problems

Tennis Elbow
Tinnitus
Thyroid Problems
Vertigo

The Emotion Code is non-invasive, totally safe and requires very little time and effort on your part. No dredging up the past is required, which makes it very effective compared to other kinds of therapy. Everything discussed or discovered with me is always confidential.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

How Does Emotion Code Work? The unconscious mind is the ultra intelligent computer system of the body; The Emotion Code uses specific questioning and muscle testing (kinesiology) to get answers from the unconscious that need to be cleared. As soon as a trapped emotion is identified, it is ready to be released.

Most people say The Emotion Code helps them feel lighter and more free, but we frequently see the immediate disappearance of major health and emotional issues too! Your results will depend on how many trapped emotions you have and how quickly your body responds after they are removed.

Releasing trapped emotions helps restore balance to the body- so your body’s natural healing ability will be allowed to return. This means you will be able to recover gently from your ailments and gain a stronger immune system too!

To do this, The Emotion Code combines 2 important elements: the modern technology of therapeutic magnets and the Ancient principles of Chinese Medicine. A magnet acts as a powerful carrier for the practitioner’s intention to release the emotion. If that magnetically charged intention energy is placed into the body via the Governing Meridian (a major energy channel in the acupuncture system), it is blasted through the body instantly and releases the emotion!

The Heart Wall – Do you have one?

One of the best parts of The Emotion Code is removing the Heart-Wall. We estimate that 93% of the human population have a literal wall around the heart made of multiple layers of trapped emotional energy. The Heart-Wall is created by the unconscious mind in order to protect the heart from grievous injury, and it’s a good thing we have this protective mechanism when we need it. The problem is that having a Heart-Wall is like living in a bomb shelter- it’s nice to have its protection while the bombs are falling, but if you have it forever you’ll end up feeling disconnected and unfulfilled!

Have you felt blocked from giving or receiving love? Have you had much difficulty recovering from loss? A divorce? Abuse?  If so, you likely have a Heart-Wall. The good news is that clearing it is easy and can be life-changing!

The process is simple and fast, but also effective and long- lasting. You don’t need to know much about how the technique works – you just need to be ready and willing to heal!

7-STEP EXERCISE TO RELEASE EMOTIONAL TURBULENCE

It’s not easy to deal with painful emotions head-on. But it’s a key to good health and well-being If we don’t deal with pain when it occurs, it will resurface as compounded emotional toxicity later on — showing up as insomnia, hostility, and anger, or fear and anxiety.

As a further complication, if you don’t know how to deal with feelings of anger and fear, you’re likely to turn them inward at yourself, believing, “It’s all my fault.” That guilt depletes our physical, emotional, and spiritual energy until any initiative or movement feels impossible. We feel exhausted and paralyzed, leading to depression.

You can learn how to recognize painful emotions right away and how to effectively “metabolize” and eliminate pain.

Overcoming difficult emotions such as fear, anger, guilt, and anxiety can bring the same disguised benefits that dealing with a physical illness can bring. Patients suffering from life-threatening illness often report that their diseases have taught them to love and value the other people in their lives more deeply than before they became ill. During recovery they learn to appreciate and understand areas of life that they took for granted before. While anger, fear, and worry are not diseases, we can grow from them even as we process them to become the person we want to be.

DEEPAK CHOPRA’S 7-STEP EXERCISE TO RELEASE EMOTIONAL TURBULENCE
1. IDENTIFY AND LOCATE THE EMOTION PHYSICALLY

Set aside a few minutes when you won’t be disturbed. Pick any quiet place where you feel calm. It is recommended to take a seat that is sturdy, yet comfortable. The best practice is sitting up straight. The floor is not a bad idea, but this can become uncomfortable very quickly. Our meditation seating options are a strong and accessible alternative for those who seek deep meditation with both physical and emotional comfort. Sit in a relaxed position and close your eyes. For a few minutes, just meditate in silence. Focus on your breathing — or if you prefer, you may use a mantra.

Now with eyes still closed, recall some circumstance in the recent past that was upsetting to you. It may be a time when you felt you were mistreated, an argument with your partner, or perhaps a past injustice at work. Identify some instance where you felt emotionally upset.

For the next 30 seconds, think in detail about that incident. Try to picture what actually happened as vividly as you can, as if you were reporting it for a newspaper. Here, you are the observer watching this event. You are not the event, argument, or emotional upset; you are merely witnessing what is happening from the perspective of your silent self. You are carrying the effect of the meditation you just did, allowing you to maintain a vantage point that is not overshadowed by the intensity of the emotions.

Now identify exactly what you are feeling. Put some word on the incident that describes what you are experiencing. Be as precise as you can. Do you feel unappreciated? Insulted? Treated unfairly? Give the feeling a name. Come up with a word that epitomizes the painful experience. Focus your attention on that word.

2. WITNESS THE EXPERIENCE

Gradually allow your attention to move away from the word. Let your attention wander into your body. Become aware of the physical sensations that arise in your body as a result of the emotion you’ve identified.

These two elements — an idea in the mind and a physical sensation in the body — are what an emotion truly is, and they can’t really be separated. This is why we call it a feeling — because we feel emotions in our bodies.

Let your attention pass through your body as you’re recalling this experience. Locate the sensations the memory brings up. For many it’s a pressure in the chest or a sensation of tightness in the gut. Some feel it as pressure in their throat. Find where it is in your body that you’re feeling and holding the emotional experience.

3. EXPRESS THE EMOTION

Now express that feeling. Place your hand on the part of your body where you sense that the feeling is located. Say it out loud: “It hurts here.” If you’re aware of more than one location for the pain, move your hand from place to place. At every location, pause for a moment and express what you’re feeling. Say, “It hurts here.”

When you experience physical discomfort, it means that something is unbalanced in your experience — physically, mentally, or spiritually. Your body knows it — every cell in your body knows it. Befriend these sensations and their wisdom, because the pain is actually leading you to wholeness.

Writing your feelings out on paper is also a valuable way to express the emotion. This is especially effective when you can write out your painful experience in the first person, in the second person, and finally from the perspective of a third-person account.

4. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY

Be aware that any painful feelings you experience are your feelings. These feelings are happening inside your body now as you remember the pain, even though nothing is actually taking place in the material world. You’re only remembering what happened, yet your body is reacting with muscle contractions, hormonal secretions, and other responses within you. Even when the painful incident was occurring in the material world, the effect was entirely within you. You have a choice in how you interpret and respond to emotional turbulence. Recognizing this is taking responsibility for your feelings.

This doesn’t mean you feel guilty. Instead, it means you recognize your ability to respond to painful situations in new and creative ways. By taking responsibility for your feelings, you can also gain the power to make the pain melt away. You’re no longer blaming anyone else for having caused the pain, so you no longer have to depend on anyone else to make it go away. Hold that understanding in your consciousness for the next few moments.

5. RELEASE THE EMOTION

Place your attention on the part of your body where you’re holding the pain, and with every exhalation of your breath, have an intention of releasing that tension. For the next 30 seconds, just feel the painful sensation leaving your body with every breath. Some people find that making an audible tone that resonates in that part of your body where the pain is localized helps to loosen and lift the contraction away.

You can also experiment to discover what works best for you. For some people, singing or dancing does the trick. You may try deep breathing, using essential oils, or taking a long warm bath. Finally, if you have written out your emotions on paper, it can be helpful to ritually burn the paper and offer the ashes to the winds.

6. SHARE THE OUTCOME

Sharing the outcome of releasing your pain is important because it activates the new pattern of behavior after the old painful pattern is released. Imagine that you could speak to the person who was involved in that original painful incident. What would you say to that person now?

Bear in mind that he/she was not the real cause of your pain. The real cause was your response. In your transformed state, you are now free. So you can share what happened without blame, manipulation, or seeking approval. Perhaps they intended to cause you pain, and you may have unwittingly collaborated in that intention. Maybe you would like to say you no longer intend to fall into such traps.

Whatever you say is totally up to you. As long as you have an awareness of the steps we’ve taken so far in this exercise, whatever you say will be right for you.

7. CELEBRATE THE PROCESS

Now you can celebrate the painful experience that had taken place as the valuable material that helped you move to a higher level of consciousness. What was previously a disconnected, destructive, and disabled part of your psyche is now integrated and contributing its power toward your greater spiritual goal. Instead of responding to the situation with a pain reflex, perpetuating the problem, you’ve turned it into an opportunity for spiritual transformation. That is something to celebrate! Go out for a nice dinner or buy yourself some flowers or a present to honor the new you.

Use this exercise whenever you feel upset, to free yourself from emotional turbulence and the underlying pain. When you do that, you’ll find that opportunities will arise more often in every area of your life.

Have a Hate on for Mondays? Do this to Stress Less!

Go the extra Mile…

On Sundays, prepare yourself for the week… plan ahead what you’ll wear tomorrow, make sure to have your laundry and groceries done, and if your anything like me, i like to have some meals prepared.  Do a little meal prep to help yourself out, you’ll save time and eat a heck of a lot better than if you didn’t.  Give yourslef the gift of an early bedtime routine – perhaps a bubble bath is in order before heading to bed or getting into some cozy PJ’s.

Have a hit list.

Having a list of five or so action items to complete during the week will help you feel in control and focused on Monday morning.  Take a few minutes and ask yourself – What do you need to complete? Who do you want to see or reach out to? What’s lingering and do you need any reminders? Creating a short list of what will make your week satisfying helps you stay on track. Being proactive feels powerful; being reactive feels like shit!

Have some Monday fun!

Make Monday the new Friday – schedule yourself to have a movie night or dinner with friends?  Why not feel great all week and not just “wait for the weekend”.

Make a change!

If your Monday feels unbearable, maybe its time for a change.  Maybe you need a vacation or to look for a new job, or a side biz?  Do something creative or fun?  Ask yourself – What kind of life do i really want?  What’s missing?  What would i love to be doing?  Mondays can become bearable, even fantastic if you choose for them to be :)

Remember, your happiness isn’t dictated by your calendar… its determined by YOU!  Go have some fun!
