What Are the 7 Chakras?
Inside all of us lies seven energy centers of spiritual power, which are connected to the major organs and glands that govern our body. These centers are called chakras, a term derived from Indian religions that means Wheel of Energy. Simply put, chakras are responsible for transforming and meshing the energy from our physical body with our psychological, emotional, mental, and non-physical energies.
The Crown – Sahasrara
The Crown chakra relates to higher consciousness, enlightenment, and inspiration. Located above the crown of the head, this Head Center chakra is related to the power of consciousness and corresponds with the universal self and divine reality.
How to balance your 1st chakra
In practical terms, it’s important to take care of your survival needs first. This chakra gives you the energy to do that, so utilize that energy to the best of your ability.
Then, calm this chakra by focusing on your connection to spirit. Take time each day to nurture your soul by praying, meditating or connecting to spirit guides. Volunteering and acts of kindness and compassion can guide overactive energy away from your root chakra and into other energy centers in your body.
The Third Eye – Ajna
As the sixth of the body’s seven chakras, the Third Eye lies between the eyebrows and is the only chakra in the mental body. As such, it’s the center of command and corresponds with intuition, insight, and psychic awareness. Furthermore, the Third Eye chakra affords us the ability to connect to elements beyond the five senses and controls the individual self and power of inner perception.
How to balance your 2nd chakra
To balance your 2nd chakra, it’s helpful to draw energy away from pleasure and into your heart.
You can do this by asking yourself a simple question before each action you take. Ask yourself, “Is what I am about to do good for me? Is it healthy and nourishing? What are the benefits of the action I’m about to take? ”Taking time to assess whether your actions are healthy is a great way to draw energy away from this chakra.
The Throat – Vishuddha
Located in the throat area, this chakra is the energy center for creativity, speech, individual needs, and will. It’s known for its purity and relates to the power of communication by connecting with the ether, the respiratory system, and higher intelligence. This is the second chakra in the Emotional Body.
How to balance your 3rd chakra
To balance your 3rd chakra, practice opening up your heart with love and compassion. Meditate on sending love and kindness from your heart to all those around you. Refocus the power you have and see yourself as a beacon of love.
The Heart – Anahata
As one of two energy centers in the Emotional Body, the Heart chakra lies in the middle of the chest and is responsible for emotions and feelings like love, forgiveness, compassion, and self-esteem. Not surprisingly, the heart triggers emotions of love and devotion and corresponds with the element air.
How to balance your 4th chakra
Balancing your 4th chakra means taking that love you’ve given to others and focusing some of it back on yourself. You can do this by doing 1 thing every day that’s just for you:
Take a relaxing bath
Treat yourself to a massage
Meditate on sending compassion to yourself
The Navel – Manipura
As the last energy center in the physical body, the Navel chakra is considered the Solar Plexus and relates to the element of fire. The chakra, also known as the City of Gems, closely corresponds with the emotion anger and is responsible for energies like desire, vitality, inner strength, and self-control. Lastly, the Navel chakra relates to the element of fire and governs the digestive system and ego impulse.
How to balance your 5th chakra
Balancing your 5th chakra is as easy as thinking before you speak. Take it from the Buddha, before you say anything, ask yourself: “Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind?”
The Sacral – Svadhisthana
Located above the genitals, the Sacral chakra is referred to as the Abode of Kundalini, or the center of energy that is yet to realize its potential. Because of its location, the Sacral chakra relates to the water element and controls emotions that center around relationships, sexuality, and intimacy such as desire.
How to balance your 6th chakra
If you find yourself consumed with psychic information, take some time to remind yourself that you are a creature of the Earth. Go to the beach and feel the sand on your toes. Dig your hands in the dirt in your garden. Connect your body to Earth and repeat “I am a human being. I am a human doing.”
The Root – Muladhara
The Root chakra lies below the genitals and is the first of three physical body energy centers. As the center for survival, security, and primal energy, the Root chakra is connected to the Earth Element and relates to your natural survival instincts and emotions, especially fear.
We hope you’ve enjoyed this chakra chart and will be able to incorporate its information into your lives to enhance your well-being and chakra healing.
How to energize your 7th chakra
Instead of attempting to open up and active your crown chakra, focus on balancing the other 6 chakras

Leave dieting behind forever – using this technique
More women across the country are losing weight – and keeping it off – with help of a psychological technique called neuro linguistic programming. Here’s how you can use this simple method to melt away the pounds – and leave dieting behind forever!
The story of Alexa –
Sitting at the kitchen table on a cold winter night, I reached for my fifth cookie and shoved it into my mouth, barely tasting it. As I replayed the recent events in my life – separating from my husband, selling our home and moving into a one-bedroom apartment with my three young children – I was filled with despair. “What’s going to become of us?” I asked myself. Not knowing the answer depressed me.
And as my depression and panic grew, I searched the kitchen for something else to eat. Finding the bag of chips that I bought that morning, I tore it open and started eating with abandon. “Why don’t you stop stuffing yourself?” I scolded myself, pushing another chip into my mouth, I felt my life was out of control. I felt powerless over what I ate. I tried diet after diet to get myself back into the 120 pounds I weighed on my wedding day.
At 5’2″, I was horrified that I weighed more than 165 pounds. It didn’t matter that I’d recently given birth, I became obsessed with losing weight. I counted the calories of every morsel of food and weighed myself a half-dozen times a day.
But instead of helping me, it made me crave more food. Then, whenever I cheated, which was often, I was so disgusted with myself that I’d eat twice as much. Desperate to lose weight…
What technique helped her? – Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) is the science of the effect of language, both verbal and non-verbal, on the brain and nervous system. NLP used visualization to help people “re-program” their brains and the way they think about things. And once they learn to do that, they can change their behavior and cure bad habits. we can sometimes be our own worst enemies just by how we view ourselves,
Tips for you to use now!
1. An extremely powerful tool is to “future pace” yourself into already having completed the weight loss. To step into that spot as if you already reached your weight loss goal. What specifically will you feel, hear and see at that moment in time? You experience this associated, meaning looking through your own eyes.
2. If you are going to seek an inspiration for weight loss, pick a true model of excellence! It is best to find someone who not only claims to have mastery in motivational or coaching tools, but someone who has done it OR looks the part.
3. How will your success with completing your weight loss goal impact your life? Write it all out.
4. How will it impact others around you? Family, Kids, Friends, Workplace.?
5. What are your values? Isn’t having a healthy body a part of living a life, which is true to your values? Weight loss using NLP will accomplish this.Ask yourself, what’s important to me about my health and specifically about losing weight? make a big list and then we always make sure you are using toward language – not away from. list what you want – never what you don’t want!
6. Understand the positive intention behind overeating or moving too little. (Unconsciously, the unconscious mind may be protecting you from something, could be from childhood – deeper rooted emotion hurt – time line therapy and emotion code can help with this!) If these things were to bring you something positive, what would that be? For instance, would you be rewarded with comfort? Fun? Freedom? What are some other ways for you to achieve this rather than overeating or moving too little?
7. What are triggers (anchors) in your environment that cause you to eat? MAKE A LIST
8. Who is stopping you from completing your goal? Be honest.
9. What is the first step? Do that this week! Using NLP for weight loss are among the best tools you can use to set up your mind!

5 Negative Human Emotions & What They Mean
Healing from things that have hurt us emotionally can be a confusing process. We are usually aware of when we are feeling hurt or upset, but what about more complex feelings like abandonment, betrayal, insecurity, resentment, and vulnerability? The ability to recognize and correctly label these negative emotions can facilitate emotional healing and understanding. The Emotion Code (™) Definitions of Emotions contains helpful definitions for these five emotions.
Abandonment
“Physical abandonment is being left alone, left behind, or deserted (this is the type of abandonment that we most often see in childhood). Emotional abandonment is being given up on, withdrawn from, emotionally deserted or separated from, or a feeling of being ‘left behind’ in a non-physical form.”
According to Sharie Stines, Psy.D, “Being invisible to your loved one is an existential wound. It causes you to feel that you don’t matter and questions your right to even exist. Research has found that one of the primary ways to injure a person is to remove him or her from significant human contact; particularly communication.”
Betrayal
“Betrayed [or betrayal] is to have your trust broken, to be deserted or hurt by a trusted one. Betrayal of another is to be unfaithful in guarding or fulfilling a trust; to be disloyal or violate a confidence, to desert someone who trusts you. Betrayal of the self is to break integrity, act against one’s morals, to abuse the body or soul.”
Betrayal can be inflicted intentionally or unintentionally. We want to believe we can trust someone and are caught completely by surprise when they don’t act the way we expected, which creates a type of emotional trauma.
The pain of betrayal often presents itself as physical aches and pains. Some other symptoms include fatigue, nausea, change of appetite and difficulty sleeping.
Insecurity
“A lack of confidence; self-conscious; shy. Feeling unsafe from danger or ridicule.”
Insecurity often stems from a mental comparison with what we think we “should” be versus how we perceive we actually are. Unfortunately, our brain can trick us into thinking both of these images are true when, in fact, that image of perfection is unrealistic and our perception of ourselves is inaccurate.
Resentment
“A feeling of displeasure or indignation at someone or something regarded as the cause of injury or insult; bitter for having been treated unfairly; unwilling to forgive. Often this emotion comes along with animosity (ill-will that displays itself in action, strong hostility or antagonism).”
Resentment is caused by a need to place blame. Many of us focus too much on who is responsible for causing us pain. Resentment can also come when we hold onto hurt feelings instead of trying to resolve them, or when we are unwilling or unable to forgive.
Vulnerability
“Feeling susceptible to harm, either emotional or physical; unsafe; unstable.”
Vulnerability is scary and uncomfortable. Even familiar places and activities can trigger feelings of worry and uncertainty. It is difficult to discern whether or not you are safe.
It is important to determine whether or not any of these emotions are slowing down your emotional healing process. Facing negative emotions is never easy, but conquering the feelings that are weighing you down will enable you to have healthier relationships. Don’t be afraid to ask for help or talk to someone about difficult emotions.
Discover Healing can also help when dealing with different kinds of emotions. The Emotion Code is a revolutionary healing tool for helping you find and identify your trapped emotional baggage — and for healing the pain…

Its Winter – 5 Ways to Increase Your Vitamin C Levels
1) Avoid Sugar: Avoid sugar as much as possible and stick to a lower carbohydrate diet to improve your vitamin C levels
2) Use Vitamin C: Load up on high quality vitamin C that also contains bioflavonoids with it to prevent illness – 1-2 grams per day is great for supplementation.
3) Vitamin C Rich Foods: Use low sugar whole food forms of vitamin C such as bell peppers, broccoli, lemon, lime, & green leafy veggies as much as possible to support your vitamin C levels.
4) Intermittent Fasting: Combining intermittent fasting with vitamin C supplementation and lemon water can be of great benefit for improving blood sugar regulation and immunity.
5) Boost Glutathione: I have many of my clients boost their glutathione levels through natural stategies and key supplements. Glutathione helps to recycle vitamin C and it may be more important as a supplement than vitamin C, although vitamin C can be of great benefit.

Are Your Habits Harming or Helping YOU with Weight Loss?
Automaticity is an automatic response pattern or habit. It is usually the result of learning, repetition, and practice.
Once a habit is formed, it doesn’t matter how hard you try. You can use all of your might and all of your will—your habits continue to determine your actions. Hypnosis is unquestionably a reliable way to change.
You may have the intention to eat healthily and exercise, but you’ll reach for the chocolate bar. It’s the same with many behaviors. We can become helpless against our formed habits. You’ll sit on the couch, and you know you need to get moving, but there are a million justifications so you’ll do it tomorrow… Or will you?
It’s a fact, you just can’t help it. It’s likely you know what to change, but most people don’t know how to change. Your unconscious mind is so very powerful that if you begin to tap into it – the changes you want can come to you more easily.
Our specialized program, Gastric Band Hypnosis uses hypnosis to condition the un-conscious mind into believing that a band has been placed around the top portion of the stomach in order to create a small stomach pouch thus reducing the amount of food that one needs to eat in order to feel full. And, because it’s not a diet, you won’t feel deprived, miserable or hungry, which are the issues that usually cause diets to fail.
Who is VGB good for?
Anyone can use the technique – There is no limitation on size, if you struggling to lose those last 20 pounds, this program can also be done for you. however; usually highly overweight people use it. People who have been turned down for the surgery, people who have had the surgery and for whatever reason it hasn’t given them the weight loss they thought it would.
**Clients with more than 20lbs to lose or 17% of their body weight, whichever is greater – will also qualify for the W-Loss Grant Program where they will be reimbursed 80% of the costs upon reaching their goals.
Virtual Gastric Band protocol uses the strategy of speaking directly to the unconscious mind and convincing it that it has the physical gastric banding surgery. From that point forward, the interference and thoughts of food that will fade away, enabling you to be able to lose weight and continue to maintain your slimness goal.
Never give up hope-There is a way
You can achieve your health and weight loss goals without giving up your favorite foods. This innovative, non-surgical procedure can help you to eat less and lose weight safely and gradually without discomfort. Hypnosis can help you change and transform your life for good.

Brutal Truths About Shedding Weight & Getting Fit
How do you live your life? At cause or at effect? It is important to be aware of this distinction. It is the rare individual who always lives his or her life at cause, however far too many of us live a large portion of our lives at effect – responding to the whims, desires or emotional states of others, or perhaps not taking responsibility… Do you have results OR reasons and excuses. People have a hard time hearing the truth sometimes.
Some may not like what i have to say here, and that’s ok… because i’m also on the Effect side sometimes and have to remind myself – am i making excuses or blaming someone outside of me? OR am i taking responsibility?
Being at cause means that you are decisive in creating what you want in life and take responsibility for what you have achieved or will achieve. If your goal is to lose weight, who’s responsability is it to change your lifestyle, your diet and your exercise or lack thereof.?
You see the world as a place of opportunity and you move toward achieving what you desire. If things are not unfolding as you would like, you take action and explore other possibilities. Above all, you know you have choice in what you do and how you react OR respond to people and events.
If you are at effect you may blame others or circumstances for your bad moods lack of willpower, eating that junk food or for what you have not achieved for your life in general. You may feel powerless or depend on others in order for you to feel good about yourself or about life – If only my spouse, my boss, my coworkers, my parents, my children, … understood me and helped me achieve my dreams or helped me to lose weight or went to the gym with me or did what I wanted or what is best for me, then life would be great.
If you wait and hope for things to be different or for others to provide, then you are at effect or a victim of circumstances. And really, how much fun is that? And how much fun do you think it is for others to be around you? Believing that someone else is responsible or making them responsible for your happiness, your health or your different moods is very limiting and gives this person some mystical power over you, which can cause you a great deal of anguish.
Being at cause means you have choices in your life – you can choose what is best for you! You can chose to eat healthy foods, exercise daily and get the results you want. We can also help with NLP techniques and hypnosis to work with your unconscious mind to help you get those results.
Those who live their lives at effect often see themselves or live their lives as victims with no choices whatsoever. The irony is that they do have choice and they have chosen not to choose but to be responsive to whatever is given to them.
Do I always live my life at cause? No, not a chance. The vast majority of the time I live at cause. And thanks to NLP, I am able to quickly identify those times when I am living my life at effect. To get back on track, I realize that I always have choices in my life and one of the following NLP Presuppositions usually comes to mind: ‘There is no failure only feedback’ or ‘There are no unresourceful people, only unresourceful states’. NLP techniques, provide me with the mental resources I require and I am able to explore other ways to achieve my outcomes or ask others for help, without being a victim.
And NLP is Much more than that! You can be in charge of your own destiny, life by choosing to do so.

Its Suicide Awareness Month – Tips to Deal with Suicidal Thoughts
September is National Suicide Prevention month. Preventing suicide does not happen by offering simple sayings such as “You should be grateful”,or by saying comments like: “It’s wrong”, “It’s selfish”, .. Suicide and suicidal thoughts are a response to incredible pain. The pain seems unending to the person experiencing it.
When i was 15 years old, i had thoughts of suicide and a suicide attemoverdosed on pills, drugs and alcohol to the point that I wasn’t responsive when my sister came into my room late at night. She drove me to the hospital where my mother was a nurse on psychiatry. Guilt, shame, a sense of hopelessness & disconnectedness overwhelmed me. And one social worker who took me under her wing helped me greatly.
Some people experience recurrent thoughts of suicide. Coming up with a plan to manage these thoughts is essential …The pain must be addressed and a safety net put in place. Let’s work together to increase understanding of suicidal ideation (thoughts of suicide), general empathy for each other, and reduce the stigma that can get in the way of people asking for help.
Dealing with suicidal thoughts
Suicide thoughts are tricky, for some people, it’s not like you really want to die, you just can’t go on living the life that you have and you don’t see a way out. It can be very hard to see the light when you are too deep in that dark well, feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, feeling like you are stuck… even when others extend a rope to save you, there is little energy to make it out.
For some people, they live with thoughts of suicide and often think they would be better off dead… It’s something so many people live with and it’s a voice in their head that they cannot seem to tune out, a voice I use to have in my own head, as a teenager and young adult.
Take Care of Your Own Mental Health
As we work to help others, we must remember to take time for ourselves. Make sure that you’re regularly using resources such as the Canadian Mental Health Association and Services with Addictions and Mental Health.
I also encourage you to learn and know the five signs of emotional distress (personality change, agitation, withdrawal, poor self care, hopelessness).
And learn the healthy habits of emotional well-being – Take Care (eat well, sleep well, exercise) Check-In (with family, friends, professionals), Engage (positive healthy relationships), Relax (baths, garden, yoga, sing, dance, love)
Prioritize yourself and learn to say no if you need to
Learning your limits and removing stressors when you can is helpful. If you need to cancel some plans or have a few days to do nothing on either side of an event, do it. Life can be hard and we do not need to make it harder for ourselves. Learn what you can control and what you can’t – let go of what’s not in your control. This is something I remind myself often.
Your happiness and safety are what’s most important. When you feel overwhelmed, that’s your body giving you warning signs; listen to them. You are not a robot, you have feelings and thoughts and you need rest.
It’s Never Too Late to Act
Action drives change. Continuing to educate ourselves and starting conversations with others about suicide prevention and available mental health resources is the first step. For those suffering, suicide may feel like the only answer. But hope should not be lost. By taking action—large and small—we can positively impact the lives of those in need and potentially save a life.
My hope for the future
My hope one day is that we’ll live in a world where there is no stigma attached to suicide or mental health issues and people are open, supportive and non judgmental. Reach out to the mental health services in your community!

Avoid these If You Want A Stronger Immune System
The busy lifestyle most people have today means you may not always be making as healthy of food choices as you would like. Many of the “grab-and-go” type foods that are available are processed and laden with salt and sugar. Too much sugar can wreak havoc on an already stressed immune system.
People also spend a lot more time indoors today, which means you’re not getting adequate time in the sun for proper vitamin D synthesis. Not to mention, being cramped up in close quarters with other people and being exposed to allergens and other immune attackers.
How about these other common mistakes that can help keep the immune system from functioning optimally?
Too much stress. Emotional stress has a bigger effect on physical well-being than you may realize. Excess stress can play a role in compromising your immune system. Release Negative Trapped Emotions with Time Line Therapy and Emotion Code Energy Healing !
Not enough exercise. Exercise is one of the BEST strategies to help maintain a healthy immune system, via the increased circulation and blood flow delivering nutrients farther and wider throughout your system.
Sleep. Getting adequate and quality sleep gives your body time to heal and recharge.
Care for your digestive tract. Scientific research shows that 80% of your immune system resides inside your digestive tract. In my opinion, the best strategy you can use is to take a high-quality probiotic to support your digestive tract.
Many people I speak with fail to optimize their health in one or more of these ways.
But there is a compensatory action you can take to help maintain your immune health during times of stress.
Your Immune System Is Your Body’s Bodyguard
Your immune system is a complicated, interesting and amazing system which helps keep you healthy and strong, protecting your body from environmental stressors.
However, no matter what you do (or how closely you follow the plan above), sometimes your immune system gets tested. That’s why you also need a backup plan.
All great athletes know this. They train hard so their bodies stay healthy and they can perform at their best. But they still have physiotherapists and health professionals on call because they know sometimes life can dish out more at you than you expect.
So what can you do to promote your immune system and protect against environmental stressors? Well, your body already produces antioxidants to neutralize free radicals. But as we grow older, the levels of antioxidants drop significantly. It is estimated that by age 40, your antioxidant level is at 50%, and by the age of 60 to 70, it is down to around 5% to 10%. So you need to get your hands on a healthy supply of antioxidants to “mop up” these scavenger molecules as soon as they start to pose a threat.
Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Zinc, Selenium and crucial to your immune system.
Ginseng has beneficial antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Some test-tube studies have shown that ginseng extracts and ginsenoside compounds could inhibit inflammation and increase antioxidant capacity in cells.
For example, one test-tube study found that Korean red ginseng extract reduced inflammation and improved antioxidant activity is skin cells from people with eczema. The results are promising in humans, as well.
One study investigated the effects of having 18 young male athletes take 2 grams of Korean red ginseng extract three times per day for seven days.
The men then had levels of certain inflammatory markers tested after performing an exercise test. These levels were significantly lower than in the placebo group, lasting for up to 72 hours after testing.
However, it should be noted that the placebo group got a different medicinal herb, so these results should be taken with a grain of salt and more studies are needed.
Lastly, a larger study followed 71 postmenopausal women who took 3 grams of red ginseng or a placebo daily for 12 weeks. Antioxidant activity and oxidative stress markers were then measured. Researchers concluded that red ginseng may help reduce oxidative stress by increasing antioxidant enzyme activities .
Make sure to get enough through healthy food choices and supplementation, especially during the winter months!!

Schools In~Releasing Negative Emotions for Kids & Teens!
AS a child, were you ever nervous starting the new school year? Did you fret about Common signs of back-to-school stress include crying, headaches and expressing fears about social situations or failing grades. Some stress is normal and to be expected, but when kids exhibit ongoing dread, fear or worry, it can indicate an underlying emotional issue – what Dr. Brad calls “trapped emotions.” Left unresolved, these feelings can have lifelong effects on kids, studies show.
When these negative emotions are identified and released from the body, it can help kids shift out of fear of starting school or a new grade, stop worrying about an upsetting past incident at school or school performance, and be more relaxed, confident and happy at school.
“Children that have stressful and difficult lives are certain to have trapped emotions, but any child can have trapped emotions, no matter how much love they receive or how favorable their home environment may be,” Dr. Brad says. “I can’t express how gratifying it can be to free little children from the grip of trapped negative energies that have the potential to ravage their young lives.” Dr. Brad
Some of the behaviors or situations kids and teens may benefit from the Emotion Code are:
Children or teens who have been bullied or are bullying others
High anxiety, sensitivity, or other heightened emotional responses
Experiencing the divorce of their parents or are in new blended families
Those who have experienced abuse (mental, emotional, physical, sexual)
Children who will be or have recently received a vaccine
Kids/Teenagers expressing symptoms of ADHD, ODD or OCD
Self-esteem issues or social issues
Children/teens who are struggling with body image issues
Children with a chronic illness or other physical dis-ease
Even children who aren’t suffering from any imbalances can benefit from releasing trapped emotions with the Emotion Code.
