We all form life patterns; patterns of action and emotion. Repeated frequently enough, all patterns & habits both good and bad, become rooted and become part of who we are. Hypnosis offers unique access to the hard drive, the unconscious, where the habits reside.
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind. Past misconceptions and myths about hypnosis are disappearing as hypnosis is helping people in many areas including medicine, dentistry, law enforcement, education, health, business and sports performance.

How to Quit Smoking without Losing your Mind!
That’s because you’re constantly hearing them. You hear about new studies on the news. You hear about it on TV. You hear about it at the annual sermon from your doctor (who probably also smokes).
But you figure it’s okay. Like 70% of all smokers, you plan to quit. In fact, perhaps you’re more determined than ever.
The Statistic That Will Terrify Smokers
The number above is what researchers have found to be the success rate of smoking cessation (the process of quitting smoking).
That’s not a typo. Only 2-3% of people who try to quit smoking actually succeed.
Let’s put this in context. You have a higher chance of getting into Harvard Medical School or, ironically, getting cancer from smoking than you do of quitting.
What about using products designed to help you quit smoking, like nicotine patches? Well, your odds do improve…to a measly 6%–even if you use the leading products in the market.
Smoking isn’t just a hard addiction to quit. It’s the hardest addiction to quit.
Consider the fact that smoking cessation (the act of quitting smoking) has its own Wikipedia entry. Not even heroin, commonly thought to be the most addictive of all drugs, has a section devoted to quitting.
In fact, an article in the New York Times claims that smoking may be harder to quit than heroin.
You see, most smokers figure that they’ll quit while there is still time left. They believe that, more or less, they can quit whenever they want…and this my friend, is a mere illusion.
The reason isn’t because you don’t have the willpower. Many people who’ve failed to quit have plenty of it. Rather, it’s because of what goes on inside our brain.
Why Smoking Is So Damn Addictive
There are two causes behind smoking’s powerful addiction.
The first part has to do with how cigarettes impact the chemicals in your brain. Smoking delivers nicotine, the main active compound found in cigarettes, into your system. Once in your system, it alters two of the main “pleasure” chemicals in your brain–dopamine and noradrenaline.
They create pleasurable sensations, which are addicting in and of themselves.
The second part has to do with the psychology of habit and how it works inside your brain, an area of research that is relatively new.
Habits are formed in the part of our brain known as the basal ganglia–the oldest and most primitive part of the brain. It’s so old that scientists refer to this as the “lizard brain,” because it can be traced far back in our evolution.
Because habits are formed in such a primitive part of our brain, they’re pretty much hardwired. In fact, they’re so deeply programmed that most scientists believe that habits cannot be destroyed, only replaced. OR the only way to get to it is to get to the unconscious mind! Using Hypnosis or Time Line Therapy.
Herein lies the problem: because smoking gives a instantaneous dopamine hit, many smokers end up replacing it with something just as bad, such as binge eating, gambling, or drinking. This might even make matters worse, because you’re just replacing one addiction for another.
But don’t lose hope yet, because there is a solution. As it turns out, a few little-known studies prove that habits actually can be destroyed.

Fun Fit Friday ~ From Vegas – Short Workout for You!
So, today, i’m posting a workout video for you to do – keep your body and mind focused, increase your feel good hormones and get it done!
If you think to yourself you can’t do it, i have too much weight to lose or i’m a beginner, begin by moving your body, walk, then walk uphill, bike, swim, dance, do anything you like and that you can and want to do!!
leg rotate and squat, lunge or jump lunge with options, burpee with options, and lastly, low jacks.
repeat 3 to 10 times. 30 seconds on, 15 seconds rest.

EVERYONE IS F**KED UP IN THEIR OWN UNIQUE WAY
Today is Wellness Wednesday and I want to talk to you about some mindset stuff…. Do you agree that EVERYONE IS F*CKED UP IN THEIR OWN UNIQUE WAY? I want you to Stop Comparing yourself to others and feeling bad about yourself.
How often do you put other people on a pedestal?
Oh so-and-so has more money than me, so she’s more successful. Mr Smith has a big house and a nice car, so they must be happier than I am. Miss Energy is always bouncing around all happy and positive, she must be like that 24/7.
Stop it. Stop with the comparisonitis.
The truth is that we are ALL a W.I.P (work in progress). Nobody has all their shit together. Just because they post all their shiny happy stuff on Facebook, doesn’t mean they aren’t struggling through life behind closed doors.
One of my clients said to me, “Lynn, do you ever drink? Do you ever eat junk food? Do you ever have, you know, those bad days?”
I burst out laughing. I”m human and Of course I do! Just because I’m a Coach and also a Nutritionist doesn’t mean i never indulge or have my own ups and downs, for sure i do.
Even with all these tools in my toolbox (NLP, Hypnosis, Time Line Therapy, Nutrition & Fitness Education, I STILL found myself with ups and downs in the past few years… Oh, I”m much better than i was when i was younger, for sure after doing Time Line Therapy to release all those negative emotions, trauma from the past and limiting beliefs about myself like i’m not smart enough or good enough….
I still have days where I cry and I still have a long way to go but isn’t that the point? To be pushed and get uncomfortable so you can grow and evolve? Now, its not always fun, i do admit.
I still fuck up and make mistakes. I still wonder what it’s all about and whether I’m doing it right or wrong some days.
I too have to remind myself…..Don’t ever compare yourself to anyone – comparison is the thief of joy.
Just accept that you are where you are, and commit loud and proud to clearing up your shit.
Yes I have crappy days, but these days I know what I need to do if I’m in that headspace. I rarely allow myself to wallow in it, taking ownership for my stuff, its called cause and effect. A good brain-dump and cry and I’m ready to reset and do the inner work to clear what’s holding me back and move forward.
I walk my talk. Just because I coach others through these tools doesn’t mean I have all my shit together. But there’s a difference between just teaching this stuff and truly using and living it, really using it for yourself and walking your talk instead of just telling others what to do. Did you know that learning NLP can help rewire your brain?
I’m 110% committed to being authentically me and shining my light in the world. I know I can help people out there who are struggling, so I’ll do whatever I need to do to help as many people as I can.

Monday FunFest!
That’s right, its Monday and many of you are dreading the day ahead – Just get through it you say to yourself…. But Why? Lets change things up and have a little FUN FEST!
GET Moving – One of the best things you can do for yourself, I’ve always said this – is to move your body – yes, exercise and get those endorphin’s going… When we move our body our physiology changes as well as our BRAIN! Feeling tired, anxious, maybe even a little down or depressed? MOVE – force yourself to do it. Laugh at yourself!
The second best thing you can do for yourself is to laugh!
We don’t have to take life seriously, all the time. We sometimes find ourselves in a ridiculous or awkward situation. Instead of blaming ourselves or thinking how we messed up. why don’t we just laugh about it and move forward? That way, you can let go of the negativity that surrounds a negative situation. And start radiating a positive aura by laughing at yourself. If you can afford to laugh at yourself, you can start sharing laughter with others.
Watch a funny movie, get a comedy and laugh… Be happy, It takes a positive mind to unlock the keys of success and happiness. You can chose to be happy, one positive step at a time!
