With all the attention I've had to take away from my husband lately because of some life events that needed my attention in other places, I've missed him and I know he misses me. This last time I left, he was at work. He returned home and proceeded to find little post-it notes all over the house with messages from me.
On his remote.
On his clock.
Under his pillow.
On the mirror.
On his dinner.
On the toilet lid.
Each note had something simple to say---some things funny and some sentimental-- but it's amazing how a few words and effort can let someone know they mean everything to you.
Try it!

★BIRTH PARENTS SEARCHING FOR CHINESE DAUGHTER★
(PLEASE SHARE)
Birth parents looking for daughter born 18 June, 1996, Guangxi: Birth parents from a rural area outside of Nanning, Guangxi have asked for help in their search for their birth daughter. The baby girl was born on June 18, 1996 (May 3, 1996 on the lunar calendar); her parents named her Huang Haiyuan (Sea Garden). The baby's ethnicity is Zhuang. They kept the baby for 28 days, until they were about to be caught by birth planning officials, who would have fined them and forced the mother to be sterilized. Thus, at 5 am on July 17, 1996, the father and the uncle took the baby to Nanning and placed her at the front door of Mother's Love orphanage. They put the baby in a brown cardboard box; the baby was wrapped in a blanket with one extra item of clothing left in the box. The birth family was very poor at that time and had little to leave with her. After they placed the
baby near the orphanage door, they hid nearby and watched the baby until a staff member came out, saw the baby, and took her into the orphanage. The parents, who have two older daughters (now 28 and 25) and a younger son (now 18), have thought often about their missing daughter. One of the older sisters is also helping in the search. They would appreciate it if this information could be posted some place where their daughter or her adoptive parents might learn about it and seek to contact them. If anyone wants more information or wants to contact the birth family, they can email Kay Johnson. (KJohnson@hampshire.edu)

XianFeng's care is $1000 a year. He needs FOUR sponsors at $250 each for the year in order to remain in Gracie's Room! Any donation small or large helps XianFeng and children like him stay in Gracie's Room First Hugs.
XianFeng is a clever boy. He can sit without support. When you call his name, he will look at you and smile instantly. He can eat some cake, noodle, eggs and other soft foods. He can say “DiDiDaDa!” He can’t climb now, but he can look for the toys he likes, then stares at it, when you give it to him he is very happy. Go here to learn more about sponsoring. http://www.firsthugs.org/#!sponsor/citr
