Bringing the question here because there are people more in the know than I and can sort this out. I recently received this statement from a reader asking for confirmation:

Reader: 'My husband and I went to an information session at an adoption agency who told us that China has closed it's doors to adoption approx. 6 months ago.'

As far as I know, adoptions from China have slowed down but not closed. Does anyone have any information otherwise and can possibly point to an accurate source?

(Edited to add the reader is from Canada)

At almost 21 years of marriage, I can honestly say I've been blessed to find my forever soul mate. What makes our love so strong? I think it is the utmost respect and loyalty we have for each other. I wish every person could find the one for them, and relax in the confidence that they are loved.

Happy Valentines Day. ♥
