March 3rd 2019 Update
Mortal Gods is at about 90,000 words, and entering the ending phases of the book. I’m not sure how many more words it’ll be, but I’m confident it’ll break 100,000, possibly by a fair amount. I’ll find out when I get there!
Touching Divinity is scheduled on all fronts, including in audio, and as such the audiobook could come out anywhere from tomorrow to the 18th of March, depending on Audible’s schedule. It’ll likely come out close to the 11th with the ebook version, but I have no guarantees,...

February 24th 2019 Update
Mortal Gods is up to about 75,000 words, and is coming along well. As of the time I’m writing this I haven’t gotten the cover for Heaven’s Fallen, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that happens while I’m asleep, since the artist is on the other side of the world from me.

February 17th 2019 Update
Mortal Gods is at just over 55,000 words, as I’ve been able to focus far more easily on it the past week. I know that Heaven’s Fallen isn’t out yet, but I’m highly confident that I’ll have a release date for Mortal Gods when it comes out. For Heaven’s Fallen, I’m currently expecting to release it on April 8th. I haven’t put up pre-orders for it due to the artist having been delayed by other work, but he told me that his deadline for it is this week.

February 10th 2018 Update
Mortal Gods is up to a hair over 36,000 words, and after a little discussion with friends and my wife, Crisis of Faith is going to be shelved for the moment. I really want to write the book, but it just isn’t working right now, and I’m going to revisit it next month after I’ve gotten some things out of the way.

Crisis of Faith is up to ~16,000 words, but as I mentioned last week, it isn’t quite sparking my interest in the way I’ve been hoping. On the other hand, Mortal Gods is up to a bit over 20,000 words and is coming much more easily. If I could convince my mind to do all that work on just one of the two projects, that’d be ideal, but there isn’t much to be done about it.

January 27th 2019 Update
Alright, time for good news and bad news! Let’s get the bad news out of the way first.
I’m having trouble with Crisis of Faith. I started writing it easily enough, the characters are clear, but despite that, there’s very little enthusiasm behind it. It isn’t a slog, either, it’s just not flowing the way I want it to. At the moment I have a little over 11,000 words written for Crisis of Faith, and I’m planning to continue working on it daily, making sure I write at least a thousand words a day...

January 20th 2019 Update
So, this week I started editing Heaven’s Fallen and writing Crisis of Faith. I don’t have much written on Crisis of Faith yet, only about 5,000 words, but it’s a start. The story was astoundingly easy to slip into, which is good. I debated on waiting on Heaven’s Fallen, but I really would like to finish it up for when I get an editor for it.

So, yesterday The Obsidian Palace came out, and I’m happy with the response it’s received so far! I’m happy people seem to be enjoying it so far, but at the same time I got a question in the comments for Sunday. So, The Obsidian Palace releases tomorrow (or has released in some parts of the world)! The paperback is available already Here, and you can find the ebook Here if you didn’t see it before.
I’ve also managed to complete the rough draft of Heaven’s Fallen. It’s at approximately 113,000 words, and I’ve commissioned artwork for the cover. Early Release (January 14th)
So, good news! My editor got The Obsidian Palace back to me a full week earlier than I expected. Since that’s the case, I’m moving the release date forward to January 14th instead of January 21st. I’m just glad I can get it out there sooner rather than later, because I’ve been wanting to release it for a while!
