December 8th 2019 Update
I did not manage my goal forQueen’s Move this last week, in part due to a phone call in the middle of the night on Tuesday wrecking my sleep schedule, but I did get up to a bit over 86,500 words, and am hoping to make up the difference today. We shall see if that happens!
That said, I won’t be working onQueen’s Move this week unless things go particularly well, because I’m going to be starting on my second edit ofWebs & Wards to prepare it for its January 13th release date. Speaking of which,...

December 1st 2019 Update
I can hardly believe it’s December! Time flies when you’re busy, I suppose. In any case, this last week was Thanksgiving in the United States, but that wasn’t the only reason I decided to delay working on Queen’s Move for a week. It was also because I was in the final stages of writing the draft of Webs & Wards, Beesong Chronicles 2, and I finished it Monday, with approximately 82,000 words. I then edited it, and have sent it off to my Alpha readers, which gives me time to focus fully onQueen...

Series Survey Results
Hello, everybody! So, you may recall that a few weeks ago I put up a link to a survey about my series, which I then expanded out to my newsletter and put up on my blog. I closed the survey Monday to take a look through the information I got, which took a bit more effort than I expected, but it is rather interesting, so I thought I’d share some of it. I should note that I got 117 responses in total, and not all questions got that many responses. In fact, the ‘What is your favorite single...

November 24th 2019 Update & Audiobook Poll
Queen’s Move is up to about 75,000 words, and coming along nicely! However, with this week being a holiday in the United States, I’m planning to take the week off. Thereare a few things that I want to get feedback on, however, and some other news I want to share. This blog post will likely be a little long.
First of all, I would like to get feedback from all of you on my audiobooks. I’m currently looking at a major issue for Lilith’s Shadow, as Sarah Goer is currently booked until June of...

November 17th 2019 Update
Queen’s Move is up to ~62,500 words, and going strong! I’m looking forward to seeing how the latter half of the story works out in the end, as it has taken a few twists I didn’t expect. I also put up a few sketches of Gina/Warden on my Patreon this past week, asking my Patrons which of three designs they preferred for her new outfit, and I’ve begun the process of getting cover art for the book.
However, there’s also other news! The audiobook of Sting & Song is live, narrated by Reba Buhr! I particularly love her...of Sting

November 10th Update
All of you who bought Crisis of Faith, thank you very much! Your support is what makes it possible for me to publish as much as I do, and if you’d review the book I’d deeply appreciate it. Now, on to the progress of the past week.
Queen’s Move is up to about 50,000 words and coming along well, so I think there are good odds of finishing the rough draft in early December. I want to remind that my editor’s first opening for the manuscript is currently in February, so it won’t be out until mid-February at the soonest. Webs & Wards will be s...soonest. Webs

November 3rd 2019 Update
Queen’s Move is up to ~37,500 words and coming along well! I was slightly delayed on it this past week, but that was partly because I had a dental appointment Monday, and I managed to make up lost ground over the course of the week.
However, more importantly, tomorrow Crisis of Faith comes out!...tomorrow

October 27th 2019 Update
Queen’s Move is coming along nicely, and I currently have about 25,000 words done on it! While holidays could interfere, I’m fairly confident I’ll finish the first couple of drafts before the end of the year. I also have been working steadily on Webs & Wards, and might finish the rough draft by the end of November, though I’m not holding my breath on that.
I’ve also been asked about whether or not I’ll continue several stories in comments here and on Patreon, so I think I’ll reply here. First off, I do have plans to contin...off, I

October 20th 2019 Update
This week I started writing Queen’s Move, and it’s up to a bit over 12,500 words! Not bad, considering I wasn’t sure how much writing I’d get done this week. If this keeps up, I’ll have written six or seven novels this year, which is insane to me. That’s including Webs & Wards, mind you.
Other than that, the only bit of news is that the audiobook of Sting & Song may be slightly delayed by the untimely demise of the narrator’s laptop. She bought a new one quickly, but it was going to take some time to get it set up for narration, so I’d not anticip...of Sting
