Cover Reveal: ‘Twas an Evening in Bethlehem
Today I'm honored to be part of the cover reveal for amazing author Jenelle L. Schmidt's upcoming children's book, ‘Twas an Evening in Bethlehem!
As those who follow this blog probably know, I'm a huge fan of Jenelle's fantasy fiction, so I'm excited that she's branching out into this new genre.
‘Twas an evening in Bethlehem and all through the day
Many guests were arriving from far, far away…
The inn is full, but when a young, expectant couple arrives, the innkeeper cannot turn them away...

Book Review/Author Interview: Oath of the Outcast by C.M. Banschbach
[image error]
I still haven't caught up on all the sleep today's book cost me. I even had to sent the author an email to both compliment and yell at her at midnight once I'd finished.
(It was mostly compliments. But also lots of yelling.)
Today, we're talking about Oath of the Outcast, a new fantasy book from C.M. Banschbach and the first in the Dragon Keep Chronicles series. So long as you understand in advance that it may be hazardous to your sleep, let's proceed to the synopsis and my thoughts on the s...

Blackfire, Book 1: Title, Cover, and Synopsis Reveal
Am I doing this today because I'm ever-so-slightly jealous of all the people who are having a marvelous time at Realm Makers 2019 without me?
Possibly. I will admit to nothing.
I've been working hard on Book 1 of the Blackfire series over the past few weeks, as my Camp NaNoWriMo project. Yeah, I know I worked on it for my NaNoWriMo project last November, but I wasn't thrilled with how that draft was turning out, for various reasons, so I started it over from scratch. And it's coming along ver...

Author Interview: E.B. Dawson
Today's author interview is with fellow Phoenix Fiction Writer E.B. Dawson. She's just published Until the End, the fourth and final book in her Creation of Jack series. Now, to my shame, I have yet to read this series, but I'm hearing all kinds of amazing things about it…and really, just look at this cover.
Until the End (The Creation of Jack, Book 4)
After the Mechs are neutralized in a devastating battle, Logan and Druce consider changing their priorities as they rebuild their lives. But...

First off, synopsis and beautiful cover:

Deadwood: Available Today!
It's time!
The second book in the Crockett and Crane series is finally here. Todd Crane, Amy Crockett, and their friends are trapped in the town of Deadwood…and what they're about to face will change their lives forever.
[image error]It’s not the people in this town you have to watch out for.
It’s the buildings.
Monster hunter and part-time centaur Todd Crane didn’t ask to be sheriff of Deadwood. For one thing, he’s never had an easy time staying on the right side of the law. For another, he’s too busy tr...

Book Review and Author Interview: Wish You Weren’t Here by Janeen Ippolito
This may shock you…in fact, I'm almost certain that it will…but a book doesn't have to feature a dragon as a main character in order for me to enjoy it.
Incredible, I know. But it's true. To take an example at random, I've found in recent months that I particularly like books with genie protagonists. Granted, I've only read two so far, but I think this is enough to confirm a new trend in my literary tastes. On the other hand, both of these books are by Janeen Ippolito, which means that they'r...

FREE Ebook: The Hound of Duville and Other Stories
Are you all caught up on Beaumont and Beasley?
What do you mean, you're not?! This is a disaster. Such a great disaster that it caused me to commit the unpardonable sin of using an interrobang. I hope you're happy.
Calm down. Everything will be fine. Fortunately for you, the latest book in the Beaumont and Beasley series just got an upgrade, in advance of four new books in the series. You can read more about the latest news here. In short, I've added three short stories to Beaumont and Beasle...

…and Other Stories
I have a problem. One I've never had before. And I'm actually kind of enjoying it.
I've written too much.
More specifically, I set out to write four Beaumont and Beasley novellas, which I was going to publish in bundles of two at a time. Instead, I've got four full-length novels on my hands (around 50,000 words each). Yikes.
So I've come to the decision that it's silly to still publish these books in bundled form. For one thing, it makes marketing them a headache, and for another, it cause...
