Seven Things To Do
Instead of responding to negative reviews:
1) Buy a voodoo doll. Better yet, buy a Voodoo Donut. Jab it full of pins or pretzels, as you wish.
2) Remind yourself that your book will not be to everyone's taste. Also remind yourself that the negative reviewer might possibly be ill-equipped in the manhood region/a chronic bed-wetter/suffering from a rare disease that makes them smell exactly like the sewer treatment plant down the road.

Revealing Cover Art Should Be Like A Fan Dance
One ostrich-feather flip at a time. ;)
My loves... I have seen the future (at least a tiny glimpse of the May 2010 bit) and it is glorious.
The art department at F&F is hard at work, putting the title and someone's authorly name atop it right now, and we've agreed to host a bit of silliness here at my blog and the theater website, leading up to the reveal of the cover of Perchance To Dream. There will be bits of silliness by the fairies (guest blogging,) a contest for guessing who and what wil...

Day in the Life of a Bunneh's Writer-in-Waiting
1) Answer interview questions.
2) Snorgle the bunneh.
3) Package up bookplates.
4) Snorgle the bunneh.
5) Write study guide questions for the paperback release of ELS.
6) Snorgle the bunneh.
7) Write a pile of words for theater book 3
8) I think you see the pattern here.

Ah, well, it's only my sanity, right?

My Disappointment
Let me show you it.
I don't think I've ever been so excited about a show as I was about GLEE, and the pilot drove me nearly berserkoid with happy. I think I watched it a dozen times before the regular episodes started airing.
But lately? *scowl* Maybe it's just me, but NOTHING has been done with plot or character development in absolutely ages (save the intense recent revelation scene in the kitchen.) Characters have taken a turn into Stupidville. The music has been "meh" at best.

Music is not only for the hearing (please help if you can)
Apologies for spamming the flist today. :)
So, I was first introduced to Michael DiMartino's work via
boothyisawesome
, who sent me a link to his ASL rendition of "LoveGame." Now Michael has a new video up ("Beautiful Dirty Rich"-- please note both videos have "adult" content, the likes of which you might see on MTV, if they still played videos... *G*)
Michael also a message here about his new project. *embeds video for easy clickage*
To sum up: he wants to film videos for two of his original s...

Page Proofs!
My favorite part is actually how the rubber band holding the manuscript landed on the desk in the shape of a swirly heart. XD

Whimsical Holiday Post of Ridiculousness
Admission: I have a mad love of catalogs. Send 'em to me glossy, folded in half to cram them in the mailbox, preferably stuffed full of stuff I don't really need but love looking at.
So, because I haven't had any caffeine yet this morning and I'm obviously delusional, some recent items that catalogs made me want:
The Williams Sonoma Sandwich Cookie Cake Pans
Because who would not want a cake shaped like an OREO, I ask you???

Williams Sonoma is terrible, really, because who wouldn't also want cho...

SYTYCD: finally compelled to post about Season 6
Dear Kathryn and Legacy: I <3 You. My favorite routine of the season thus far:
And, of course, the Chicago routine... it was total B.S. that Ellenore and Ryan ended up in the bottom 3. (Longer video, not as high quality, sadly... dancing starts at the 45 second mark.)
