Theater geeks, reviews, and ARC giveaways!

The Not So Closet Geeks (a YA book blogging review site) is hosting Geek Fest this week, and today they've posted my article, "I Am A Theater Geek" (which could have been subtitled "How Lisa Learned to Love--and Hog--The Limelight." *ahem*)

They are also running a giveaway for an autographed ARC of Eyes Like Stars.

In the subject of giveaways, Jessica Kennedy has written a lovely review here, and is now willing to pass her ARC to you.

Charles Tan, the Bibliophile Stalker, has his review up here, an

My Silence Is Not Complicity

Anyone who has been reading my flist for any period of time will remember what happened last year after Fantasy Magazine published The Stolen Word.

I apologized. I shut up. I listened.

I am still listening.

My silence on the current discussion is because I still have a lot to learn, and it's not my turn to speak right now.

New Interview Up

Aryanna Draeger interviewed me for her blog, A Maze Of Books.  Please stop by to read her reviews, as Aryanna is running her blog to recommend books that she likes, rather than grade them.

(FYI, Aryanna is eleven, so mind your manners and your language when you're over there!  *G*)

Where I'll Be

Or, more appropriately, where I won't be.

I've just sent notes to Programming for Anticipation (Montreal WorldCon) and Patrick Swenson (Rainforest Writers Retreat) that I won't be able to make it to either (the first because of finances/time away from home and the second because of my writerly schedule/current plague.)  Apologies to any or all hoping to see me there.

Where I WILL be:

NorwesCon (Seattle, April 9-12th)
PNWA (Seattle, August 1st)
SteamCon (Seattle, October 23-25th)

Possibly WFC, if the s

Glittery Links

Lindsay ( [info:] akabins) has a spare copy of Eyes Like Stars to give away to a fellow Canadian... head here to leave her a quote for a chance to win!  (You have until midnight, Thursday to enter.)

The Literary Fangirl ( [info:] learningtoread ) has VERY nice things to say about Eyes Like Stars.

As does SFScope.

And I have an interview up at the Bloody Bookaholic blog.

Jason Chan: Super Genius

If you have any desire to see the incredible amount of detail in my cover art (and the UK cover of The Hunger Games!) then head over to Jason Chan's blog.

(Warning, other content on his site is a wee bit more R-rated than that particular blog entry, just FYI.)
