See the new kinds of characters you can create using Numenera Discovery and Destiny character options, and experience the new kinds of stories you can tell. The Trilling Shard: an Exclusive Numenera Sourcebook
Our Numenera setting books give you a sweeping tour of the diverse regions, people, and creatures of the Ninth World, its oceans, stars, and alternate dimensions. These books leave plenty of blanks for you to create around the established material without worrying about creating inconsistencies in that material. However, some people like a deeper dive into a single location, with rich details, NPCs, and adventure hooks.

Why Decks Rock
My introduction to roleplaying was the D&D Basic Set (blue box), which I got for Christmas of 1979. Within a month or two I’d scrounged and saved enough money to buy the first-edition AD&D Dungeon Master’s Guide—$15 in 1980!—followed by the Player’s Handbook and Monster Manual.

Discover Your Destiny: Your Introduction to the Ninth World
The Numenera 2 Kickstarter is giving us opportunities to support more kinds of players; players who love exploration, crafting, long-term play, and more. We’re also making it easier for players to both learn the system and get comfortable with the setting, partly from language clarifications in the corebooks, and partly in the form of a new PDF product called Discover Your Destiny. Discover Your Desinty will come out early next year (before Numenera Discovery and Numenera Destiny), and eve...
