Penric's Fox in at Uncle Hugo's

The lovely Subterranean Press edition of "Penric's Fox" has arrived at Uncle Hugo's Science Fiction Bookstore here in Minneapolis, and thanks to owner Don driving out to my place today with a carton of books, they now have signed copies for mail order, and of course in-store. (And most of my other titles, too.)

I will be doing a signing at Hugo's on Saturday, March 10, from 1 PM - 2 PM, for "Penric's Fox" and whatever else is put in front of me. No program, because there isn't space, but there should be some opportunity to chat.

This just in this week from my long-time publisher Varrak in Tallinn...








They've done some quite classy covers for me, over time.

In other foreign rights news, I have just this week signed a contract for my first book in the Thai language. The Warrior's Apprentice is going to a publisher named Solis in Bangkok.

(Now, there's something I never imagined back in 1984 when I was writing the thing.)

And faithful Varrak has also just picked up rights to A Civil Campaign.

OK, so I just tried to load an image into a blog post from my dropbox account, and the recipe given last time around did not work. I made it work once with the Chinese cover, below, but have never succeeded since.

Anyone else have a work-around for inserting an image from dropbox?

Note that any advice calling for anything much more complicated than a right-click or copy-and-paste will be useless on this user's end.

This is the first time Goodreads has really made made MAD at them. The prior system, though kludgy, was working, drattit, till the GR ptb broke it with their stupid 20-image restriction.
