Where to begin as an entrepreneur?

Firstly, start with yourself and your beliefs. Because what you tell yourself helps shape your beliefs and attitudes. Because everything is down to you and your attitude.Endeavor to start a business with the least amount of energy and money, but also, in something that you care about and something that means a lot to you. Do not start something that you don't care about or something that means little to you- nor should you start a business just for the money, because money is a symptom of what you are doing and a result. Start with a purpose and a mission- that is something that will guide you in your journey and keep you grounded to a purpose.Furthermore, look at the existing systems, operations, set up and logistics that you can leverage for your business. For example, I started a business where I was selling things online, and by doing so I was leveraging the postal system here in the UK and word of mouth. Netflicks, used the postal system an the fact that people could download films from their home- they used imagination and creativity in a different way that gave them a competitive advantage.Question of the day: what are you doing now to get started? My Answer: I am working on my personal brand and pivoting my strategy in order to get momentum: word of mouth, reputation, build relationships and give out a tonne of free stuff from day 1,Read my books: 101 Entrepreneur Mistakes and Lessons.Learn more about me: https://www.nantchev.com/Subscribe to me on Youtube: youtube.com/nantchevFollow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/adriannantchev/

3 places where an entrepreneur can seek help

There are so many places that you can ask for help these days, here are some 3 ideas:1) Find a mentor.IN 2016 I worked for ~7 weeks for my real estate mentor, I learnt and realized a lot about real estate investing/ Find a mentor online and work for him. Ask him this magic phrase "how can I work for you for free, in order to learn from you?". Working for  a mentor has got to be a 2 way streak; they have to get something out of you by you working for them. You cannot just expect someone to reveal all their secrets, there is a cost to knowledge.2) I do consulting.People always told me that I speak very well and that I give good advice, so I realised that I am more of a teacher. I do blocks of 1 hour consulting where we talk about your business and what it is you are trying to do. Each 1 hour is £50, and I ask for that upfront, because I like to get money out of the way so we can focus on the more important subject: you.3) Groups on facebook. If you were to search "entrepreneur" or any other topics that goes with entrepreneur, then you can find a whole community of people that you can contribute to and help you. It is best if you share and comment regularly, so as to become a regule in that spaces- as opposed to just taking and asking for information. The more you give, the more you will get back.Question of the day: what are you doing now to get help?My Answer: I have a mastermind group with different entrepreneurs that I bounce ideas off of, so this way we are helping each other out and getting new ideas in the process.Learn more in my book: 101 Entrepreneur Mistakes and LessonsLearn more about me: https://www.nantchev.com/Subscribe to me on Youtube: youtube.com/nantchevFollow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/adriannantchev/

Where can an entrepreneur work?

When you decide to become an entrepreneur you end up learning a whole lot of different skills, and you can take these skills without outside of your business. These are invaluable skills for any business. You can take what you have learnt and 'fall forward' into a different industry or business. You do not necessary have to work in the same field that you have always worked in. 'Fail forward' means that you can take what you have learnt as an entrepreneur and go into a new industry and do something new, as opposed to relying on an old skill of your from the past as a back up plan.Question of the day: what are you working on now? What are you trying to achieve? My Answer: mainly this youtube channel and getting this personal brand off the ground.Learn more in my book: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X6DPWVBLearn more about me: https://www.nantchev.com/Subscribe to me on Youtube: youtube.com/nantchevFollow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/adriannantchev/

But being an entrepreneur is hard? - 14/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers. It is supposed to be hard, because in the absence of difficultly: everyone would do it. It is the difficulty of the situation that makes the reward and the achievement so great.Imagine there are ten people and nine of them are chasing these three, scarce, jobs available in the job market, because they see having a jobs as being safe and something that is secure.Whereas that single person not entering the job market knows that because of the intense competition, he will be better off starting his own business. Where, paradoxically, there is fewer competition, because all those that could have started a business are off chasing jobs instead.Question of the day: are you an entrepreneur? What are you doing?

What's the end game? - 13/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers.Only you know how best to live your life, and only you know what's best for you. Your end goals are what you want them to be; begin to define your own end goal and work towards it.When I asked one of my old animation mentors he said that he wanted to "animate till he dropped dead", there is nothing wrong with this as he is free to choose his own future and destiny. But that is not the end that I personally want.To some people it is to be able to retire young, rich and do what they want, to others it is about making a difference in society, while other people want to change the world, make a dent and be known. We all have our own altruistic desires that we want to imprint onto the world- what's yours?Question of the day: what is your end goal?

What do I do if I'm afraid to disappoint my family and friends if I leave my job? - 12/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers.Well, don't disappoint! Use this fear as a driver to push yourself to achieve more as you have to get over your fear of disappoint them. Manage their expectations and don't be too boastful, but most importantly, let your actions and results speak for themselves.Remind them why you have left your job and remind them of the opportunity and future you are building for yourself.Under promise and over deliver- which means to say you are going to do something, or thinking about doing something, in fact when it is already done or you know you will exceed your expectations. Say you are going to give them silver, but in the end give them gold. When you under promise you are protecting yourself from failure and when you exceed their expectations you defy their vision of you and exceed their expectations of you.Question of the day: how are you going about telling your family what it is you are doing?

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers. When you are following your passion, then you can explain what it is you are doing easier.Have a pitch ready to explain to people in different scenarios, such as a corporate pitch and a public pitch.Follow this pitch structure:Name.Who you are. What it is your company is and doesSame.Put yourself in a box and separate yourself from others.Explain what most people don't know about you.Fame.What's your claim to fame? What makes you famous? Have you been seen on TV, the newspaper or the radio?Goal. What difference are you working towards? What we are doing.Explain your companies' vision in a tweet-140 characters or less.Game.What your activities mean for the world? Why is it you are working towards that difference? What's your biggest vision?Always take yourself seriously. Does my age matter? - 9/101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers

This is an except from my book: 101 Entrepreneur Questions and Answers. No, not at all. Not in the slightest.Age makes no difference as it is all about how you perform and whether you can give your customers what they want. As they only care for their own results and not about your age. When was the last time you cared about a person's age when you were buying from them? Did it affect your decision? You may have enquired and been surprised, but it may not have stopped you from buying from them. When you can deliver a product or service that the market (which is reality, the general public and your potential customers) care about, then they'll buy from you.Colonel Sanders was 60 years old when he started KFC, he never gave up with his business ventures. When Mark Zuckerberg floated Facebook on the New York Stock Exchange his share of the company was were worth billions. It is a very similar story with Evan Spiegel, who floated Snapchat on the exchange recently and became a billionaire overnight.Question of the day: do you think you are too old? Why?
