Competence, Happy and Do the Work Once - 8/19 Entrepreneur Success Principles

This is an except from my book: 19 Entrepreneur Success Principles. There are 3 main requirements to perform well in business that I have come to realize. When you master these three than you can do anything you want in life:Be happy with what you are doing.Be competent with what you are doing.Figure out a way to do the work once and get paid forever. The first two are mandatory, whilst the third is largely optional, but it exists if you want to automate your income and is a minimum to aim for in any business that you set up.Be happy with what you are doing, because otherwise you will not enjoy it and want to quit. Find your passion and work on it and latch onto it. Do not let your intellectual self overrule your passions, but seek to maintain your childlike wonder and curiosity about the world. You can do whatever you want to do in life, so long as you as happy to do it.Question of the day: Are you competent and happy with that you are currently doing?

How to Recognise Opportunity - 5/19 Entrepreneur Success Principles

This is an except from my book: 19 Entrepreneur Success Principles.Take in more knowledge constantly and remember that you are one skill away from changing your fortune. The way you can recognize opportunity and create money from thin air is rather straight forward: the more knowledge you have inside of your brain, the more energy and momentum you can generate when you have an idea or an external input enters your brain.A container with more particles in it will generate more energy as an input bounces inside it. That input could be a comment, an image, an article, a problem, etc and as it bounces within the container each knowledge particles checks it vs. itself. Such as an input could be a comment and I could check it vs. my book writing knowledge and talents, to see if I could write a book about it.The more you learn, the more you can earn, because the more opportunity you can create from thin air and the better your ideas are.Question of the day: how are you going about adding new knowledge particles? What knowledge particles do you already have in your mind?

Job's Don't Have Futures, People Do - 4/19 Entrepreneur Success Principles

This is an except from my book: 19 Entrepreneur Success Principles.Industries, sectors and fashion come and go- one of the few constants in life is human talent.Even before the industrial revolution, mankind was leveraging tools, machinery and equipment to do the jobs for them. With the introduction of computer and AI, they are just the modern form of leverage that we can use to achieve more thing with less energy. They are our leverage, which frees up our time to focus on the things that we are passionate about and that will benefit us the most.Put it this way: before the industrial revolution people had to tend to their own farms that provided them with food and an income. With the inventions like the tractor, it allowed farmers to harvest more food with less people and less energy. This meant that fewer people were needed to tend to the land and it freed up their time to go into the cities, which provided the manpower for the factories, thus spurring on the industrial revolution.Innovation, technology and inventions frees up our time to work on the things that we are passionate about and can specialize in, thus the economy as a whole becomes more complex and richer. If Mark Zuckerberg was too preoccupied with tending to this farm so as to feed himself, he would be have had as much free time to work on Facebook. It is the freeing up of the labor force that allows those people the free time to innovate and become entrepreneurs. This is also how civilization advances: when we can innovate and create new technologies.Question of the day: when will your job be obsolete?

Beware: The Luddites - 3/19 Entrepreneur Success Principles

This is an except from my book: 19 Entrepreneur Success Principles.During the industrial revolution and the early 1800's, the Luddites were people that were opposed to the industrialization because it threatened their jobs and livelihoods, which meant that their income was in jeopardy. These people were opposed to industrialization so they threatened factory owners and destroyed equipment. Some would say that Luddites are opposed to progress, others would say that they are defending their livelihoods. But I say that they are delaying the inevitable.Luddites want the status quo to remain, but do not understand that things always change. The world changes, technology upgrades and becomes better. Industries become automated and mechanized and that means that job's don't have future, people do.Question of the day: who is the luddite in your life? Who is holding you back?

Everyone can be an Entrepreneur - 2/19 Entrepreneur Success Principles

This is an except from my book: 19 Entrepreneur Success Principles. The barriers to entry for starting your own business has collapsed. There are people now in their teens that are making money online whilst still at high school and there are people changing their lives thanks to the internet. The internet has changed the entire game of business and has given people endless opportunities. There are only two things that you- and I, need to do in order to become an entrepreneur:Expand your comfort zone.Increase your knowledge. When you expand your comfort zone you then have the tenacity to act and you are daring to do more because 50% of success is simply turning up. I have the tenacity to write this book and when I go onto Amazon to I search for it, it is one of few books that will appear, so that means that in a world of 7 billion people there are only a handful of other books that I'm competing with- and I wrote a few of them. One of the simplest ways to expand your comfort zone is to work and/or watch someone else run their business, because you are seeing them in action yet you are taking none of their risks. Another way is start very small- dipping your feet into the water, and only risking what you can afford to lose. Another way to read successful peoples' biographies, because you know that they are successful in the end, but you are reading about the challenges they overcame.Question of the day: what is holding you back from being an entrepreneur?

Being Rich is not Optional - 1/19 Entrepreneur Success Principles

This is an except from my book: 19 Entrepreneur Success Principles. In the world we live in now being rich can make all the difference and being rich can make such huge differences that being rich is not optional. It is like living in a world where all information is plentiful and at your fingertips, yet choosing to live an ignorant and stupid life. There is opportunity out there in the world and you have dreams and ambitious that unless you act upon them they will go to the grave with you. Having the tenacity and the knowledge to act makes all your dreams and opportunities come true.Imagine being on your death bed and all your desires, ambitions, aspirations and plans came to you and said that all you had to do was reach out make them a reality, but you did not dare to. Most of life's regrets come from inaction.Being rich takes the sting out of poverty- no one truly wants to live a life of desperation or lacking something. When you are rich you can raise your standard of living, which means that you, your family and others can enjoy a better life. You can send your children to that school, you can enjoy a 6 month holiday twice a year, you can afford to buy without looking at the price tag.People say that money does not buy happiness: it only means that they do not know where shop to get the good things in life from. When people argue that they'd rather be happy or healthy instead of being rich, it only means that they are broke and they are using an excuse to justify their lack of money or are searching for a scapegoat to justify their situation.Question of the day: what are you trying to achieve now?

Keep going and Never Stop - 101/101 Entrepreneur Mistakes & Lessons

Never stop, never surrender.Tomorrow can always be brighter than today. When you are progressing and getting better, then naturally tomorrow will be better and you'll achieve what you want.I've found that when you focus enough on finding a solution to a problem, you'll eventually find it.The more you think about a problem, the sooner you'll figure out a solution for it.You have to keep going and be impatiently patient. Impatient to get started, to get going and to ignite momentum. But when you've started you need to be patient, because things take time. Be patient with the content you've created, the business you've started, etc. There is that cliché: Rome was not built in a day. Nor was Microsoft, nor Berkshire Hathaway, nor Apple. An overnight success is years in the making. It can take years of research, study, late nights, experience and experiments. But when you achieve what you are striving for, then you can rest. Then you know you've done what you wanted to do.The world comes to him who chases the world. Keep moving forward, keep learning, keep being curious, keep exploring. You don't know what you don't know.Go out into the world and make a name for yourself. You'll be glad you did; you'll have more fun in life this way.Question of the day: what are you doing as a entrepreneur? There are another 100 mistakes that I made here.

Don't Surrender - 100/101 Entrepreneur Mistakes & Lessons

This is something I must have learnt in spring 2016: you never want to quit.Set it up so it is either success or nothing. Everything or nothing. Burn your ships and create a burning desire to succeed. We are playing the most exciting and high stakes game in the world: business. It is 24/7 and it is for the rest of our lives. The day you surrender is the day you'll regret not carrying on. Because you never know how close you are to the finish line. The day you give up is the day you'll always regret not finishing off and taking it all the way.The general public and your raving fans will remember your successes, few people ultimately care about your defeats. Those that surrender are forgotten and lost to history. Those that keep fighting either win or they learn something new which changes their life, and thus changes their strategy so they can win even more. The general public are always rooting for the underdog, and for the success story that came from nowhere. The bigger you become, the more you need to remember your roots and your past.Success does indeed leave clues, as I said in the introduction. It is down to you finding out and figuring out what you need to do in order to succeed. When you figure out how to build a business once, all you need to do is do it again and again, but make fewer mistakes and do it in a much shorter space of time. When I wrote my first book it took me around 6 months. So far, I've managed to write this book is 6 days. And I can be even faster. Some people will try to deter you, but you have to keep going. Those that try to deter you don't know want you to succeed or they gave up on their own success long ago. Perhaps it may hurt them to see you working on something they did not dare to do- thus, you are their hell on Earth.Question of the day: what are you persistent with? There are another 100 mistakes that I made here.

Hell on Earth is Meeting the Person you Could have Been - 99/101 Entrepreneur Mistakes & Lessons

Different people talk about what their definition of hell on Earth is.Here is mine, something I picked up in September 2016: imagine you are 120 years old and on your death bed and your ideas come to you in an ethereal form.As you see them they say to you: "you could have made us a reality, you could have turned us into our physical form. You had all these ideas for the world and for yourself, but you never tried to turn them into reality. Now we die with you. All you had to do was reach out and create us. Now we, your knowledge, ideas and experiences, will go to the grave with you".If you don't act upon your ideas, dream and hopes, they will die with you. What you wanted to do and achieve will die with you.One of the regrets of the dying is that they did not take more risks in their life. They did not try to do more in their time. When you do not dare to act, and you meet someone that has acted, then that is hell on earth. My definition of hell on earth is to meet the person you could have become, but you were too scared to step into his shoes.Yet, you now have to see someone else live out their dreams, hopes and visions. You see someone else, perhaps your age or younger than you, doing the things you wanted to do. Living the life you could have. This is why I do what others will not do, so that in the future I can live the life others cannot. Meaning that I am willing to set goals and deadlines then work on them day in and day out. I am never stopping. I am always striving until I am happy and content with what I have.We all want happiness, but we all have a different route to it.Strive to ensure that you life does not one day become your hell on Earth. Instead, when you meet that person you can both talk about your struggles, experiences, ideas and daily routine. There is so much more to life that having a 9-5, working for another entrepreneur's business,  and there is so much opportunity in the world. The barriers to entry have collapsed, and it is only going to get easier to succeed.Question of the day: what do you want to not regret? There are another 100 mistakes that I made here.

Be Curious - 98/101 Entrepreneur Mistakes & Lessons

As part of you becoming a better entrepreneur, and in the pursuit of you becoming a renaissance man, you need to be curious about the world. You need to be curious why things are the way they are now.We have the internet to answer so many of our questions, so why not use it and learn more about the world and more about mankind.Be curious like a child: they are curious why the sky is blue. The more curious you are the more you can achieve. The more curious and inquisitive you are, the more about the world you'll learn and discover.Opportunity starts with you, and you need to be thinking and taking in new ideas, knowledge and experiences all the time. And then let all that information sink into your head and boil. Once it starts to boil you begin to generate new ideas and create new opportunity.Warren Buffet, the 2nd richest man in the world for a long time, reads around 600 pages a day to take in new knowledge and find opportunity.Google things and search about different topics. These different topics can generate new ideas and inspirations later on.When you do just that, you'll create more opportunity for yourself. There is so much opportunity left in the world and so many discoveries that await someone to discover them. They can only be discovered when someone is curious enough to learn more and explore.Question of the day: What are you curious about? How are you satisfying your curiosity? There are another 100 mistakes that I made here.
