O/s is now available from Loose Id! Dark, twisted kink on another planet with a happy ending seemingly light years away...but not out of reach.

http://www.loose-id.com/o-s.html

Jax has the perfect job on the perfect world, looking after subs while their owners are away. But Brysen’s no ordinary sub and his owner Layne is a threat to the safety of every sub on the planet.

Dealing with the heartbreak of a failed relationship, Jax is slow to realize Brysen’s adoration for his stern owner passes all reason, and breaks every rule. By the time he does, there may be time to save Brysen, but in the process, Jax stands to lose everything from his job to his chance at love. Will the protective instincts that guide his actions hold steady or will the darkness Layne wakes within him prove stronger?

Brain Fried

Decided to spruce up my webpage since O'/s comes out on Tuesday (yay!) . Meant once I started, I had to recode over 80 pages. Took three days. I am dreaming in html.

Anyone finds a broken link or typo and I'll write them a drabble by way of thanks.

O/s cover reveal!

We have the cover for O/s, due out from Loose Id on August 2nd. April Martinez did a wonderful job with it and it's exactly how we pictured it.

A perfect world, a future time, but there will always be predators, prey, and protectors. But what if the lines blur and the hero has a dark side waiting to come out and play?

O/s release date moved

Don't panic! It's moved forward not back :-)

O/s, the dark futuristic BDSM from Alexa and me, comes out from Loose Id on August 2 now.

We went with this sonnet to open the book. Seemed appropriate. Shakespeare sure did get to the heart of emotions.

Being your slave, what should I do but tend
Upon the hours and times of your desire?
I have no precious time at all to spend
Nor services to do till you require.
Nor dare I chide the world-without-end hour
Whilst I, my sovereign, watch the clock for you,
Nor think the bitterness of absence sour
When you have bid your servant once adieu.
Nor dare I question with my jealous thought
Where you may be, or your affairs suppose,
But, like a sad slave, stay and think of nought
Save where you are how happy you make those.
So true a fool is love that in your will,
Though you do anything, he thinks no ill.

William Shakespeare, Sonnet 57.

Reading Between the Lines

Reading Between the Lines by Jane Davitt
The rights to this novella, previously available first in the Kegs and Dorms anthology, and later as a standalone, are back with me.

I've revised it and it can now be purchased from my webpage.

Forced to room with a student who hates him on sight, Seth's expecting a rocky semester, and falling for the surly Gabe only adds to his troubles. Gabe's past is full of secrets, a closed book, but can Seth find the way to Gabe's heart by reading between the lines?

Hungry For a Taste

This originally appeared in Please Don't Feed the Alligators, a collection of 1,000 word flash fics published for free by Torquere, centered around the prompt in the title.

This was my contribution, a BDSM short featuring alligator clamps (I decided not to go for actual alligators :-)). Many thanks to Alexa for beta reading.

Ashes to Ashes Peter/Stiles drabble

OMG, I'd forgotten what it was like to be hit with a drabble idea, leave stuff burning on the stove, sit down and write it.

Felt good

ETA so good I did another, this one 780 words (I'm getting to a longer one in steps).

O/s by Davitt & Snow release date

O/s, our dark, futuristic, D/s novel has a release date.
It will be published by Loose Id on August 23 2016.

It's in edits right now and here's a tiny peek.

“I want him well-disciplined. You’ll have full control there.” Layne’s voice thickened, stirring an uneasy response in Brysen, half arousal, half fear. He’d been spanked before Layne, of course, but Layne was the only one who’d ever punished him. What would a whipping be like when it came from a stranger? Could he accept it gracefully, gratefully?

“He responds well to pain and humiliation. It encourages him to try harder. Leniency he mistakes for weakness, and I simply won’t have him spoiled and indulged. It’s shameful the way some owners fawn over their subs. It’s no kindness to them. They need to be thoroughly mastered if they’re to find true contentment.”

“That’s a point of view, certainly.” The sitter didn’t sound convinced. Brysen widened his eyes in shock. How would Layne react to what he’d view as insolence from Brysen?

To his surprise, Layne chuckled. “Don’t worry, I know you have to deal with all sorts on your job and stay tactful, but trust me, this is a sub you can deal with as they were meant to be treated. No need to pretend with me. A level ten isn’t squeamish, and I vetted you. Impressive credentials.”

Take a peek at the cover teaser and pre-order here:

Cover reveal at The Novel Approach (http://www.thenovelapproachreviews.com/) on May 12!

When Gary and Abe came out to each other in their final year of high school, a longstanding friendship turned into a new love. Keeping their feelings a secret was easy until a coach caught them together in the locker room, and their fragile relationship shattered around them. Panicked, angry, and rejected by his mother, Gary fled town, breaking Abe’s eighteen-year-old heart.

Eleven years later Gary returns just as unexpectedly, crashing into Abe's truck during a blizzard. He’s as arrogant and stubborn as ever—and just as irresistible. Time has changed them both in ways they never imagined, but the heat that flares between them is enough to thaw any ice.

While Abe discovers what Gary did to survive in the city, Gary realizes that Abe has grown into a man with needs to match his own, and they fall in love all over again. But Gary’s determination to carry out one final order from the rich, older man he lived with—and obeyed—for years means that a dead man's plans might split them apart again . . . this time for keeps.
