WHAT A YEAR!!

Folks,

Talk about shutting down everything, this year has been rough to say the least. But not to worry, we are out and about now. Haven’t seen too many book festivals happening just yet, but not to worry they will start up soon. Third book is coming along nicely. I needed to do some traveling to finish my research, but that is on hold until further notice. Stay tune.

SAN MARCO BOOK SIGNING

Folks,

I have done more book signings than I can remember. This one will be one that I won’t forget anytime soon. As soon as we arrived, the rain started and didn’t stop until 10 minutes before closing. My time with author T.L. Williams was awesome, we chatted about every aspect of the book industry and shared writing techniques. Time well spent. The one take away is that, society is not ready to resume normalcy just yet. See ya soon.

BEST BOOK REVIEW EVER!!!!

Folks,

My father gave me a call the other day and was just full of joy. He said, “Did you read you new Primo magazine yet?” I explained to him, “Not really, we have been busy with everyday life stuff.” There was a pause and then I heard my mother in background say, “You better read it because they just gave you the best review on your new book.” It took me about one minute to find my magazine and they were right. Please take a moment to read it and then go enjoy the read. Thanks.

STILL HERE AND WRITING

Folks,

These past months have been hard on the whole country but just like past events, we will come back even stronger. This is what I am seeing in my world in northeast Florida. The stores are opening up and smiles are coming back. Currently, there are no book festivals or signings schedule in the near future but I am hopeful this will change as we get past this horrible situation. My third book is coming along nicely. Hope to see you out and about real soon and keep looking for the next J.R. Sharp event. Stay safe!!!

2020 JACKSONVILLE BOOK FESTIVAL

Folks,

What can I say, except that this festival gets better every year. This is the 4th year of the festival and they make it better than the previous year. This year they even let me have the room for 15 minutes to promote my books. That was very nice of them. See ya at the next event.

AMELIA ISLAND BOOK FESTIVAL WAS A BLAST

Folks,

The festival was definitely the highlight of the year for me. With so many authors, readers, and celebrities showing up to support such a great event. Over 13,000 free books were distributed though-out our locals schools to encourage reading and writing. Just a great event that benefits so many.

FIRST ITALIAN BOOK PICTURE

Folks,

This holiday season was wonderful. Best of times with family, friends, and fans. Speaking of fans, I received the best picture this week. One of my readers was on vacation in Italy. She met up with her Italian friends and they all told her about my books. She sent me a nice picture (below) of the books in a café and raved about the first book being movie material. Feels great knowing my books are being read in Italy.

It’s good to be back into the thick of things. We are starting to get our 2020 schedule ready to go.
