AMELIA ISLAND BOOK FESTIVAL WAS A BLAST

The Amelia Island Book Festival was the best one to date. There were so many people coming in the festival, that is was hard to keep up with sales. That was just the start. Then all the presentations started and the traffic never stopped. Great time.

EXCELLENT TURN OUT AT THE FOLKSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY

GREAT BOOK SURPRISE
I went to friend house this past weekend. He is a bigger reader than I am and of course a fan. Just as I was getting ready to sit down to eat my meal, this is what I saw at his reading chair. It took my breath away. Best party ever!!

HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY SEASON
Folks,
I want to thank everyone that has supported me throughout my writing endeavors these past three years. It has been a roller coaster ride. So much has happened this year, that it would be impossible for me to write everything down. There are a couple of life events that happened this year that I would like to share:
When someone leaves us it is hard, especially when it is from a sudden illness, and you wonder what is life about and why we should continue. Those thoughts have run in my head, but as it has been so eloquently explained to me; that person was in your life for a reason. They are a part of your life and make up who you are and what life is all about which in part is getting to know people. I lost some very special people this year, but they will always be in my chapters of my life. Please embrace their lives and not dwell on their passing. Life is too short to dwell on the sadness.
Watching your family grow into mature human beings is probably the most satisfying feeling as a father, uncle, cousin or friend of a family. It is passing on the torch, which will continue to burn just fine with the next generation of Americans. The baby boomers have done an amazing job raising their children in such uncertain times. I sleep well knowing that we have past the torch.
Be safe and kind to one another. Peace out until 2019.

I am excited to report that Feeding the Enemy was selected for the “Authors in Schools Literacy Program” by the Amelia Island Book Festival committee for the second year in a row. We will be at Hilliard High School on 15 February 2018.

BOOKLOFT BOOK LAUNCH PARTY
Folks, the party we had at the Fernandina Beach Bookloft book store was absolutely one of the best times I have had on the island. Everyone that showed up was amazing and we definitely ate and drank our way towards a successful book launch. If you want a signed first edition, go by the Bookloft and get yours today.
