Thank you for your question. You are correct that “Deficiency” contains some elements of dystopia. That being said, all of its content, including locations, characters, organizations and events, are completely fictitious, without any link to my current work environment.

What a fun question. Without hesitation, I would have to say Arvelas, the setting of my novella “The Conclave”.

The world of Arvelas was first born when I was teenager and a friend of mine introduced me to role-playing games, more specifically Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. We initially played in the world of Krynn, of the Dragonlance franchise, but quickly, I wanted more. In answer to this, I created a fictional world just for us: Arvelas.

Because the world of Arvelas has been a part of my life for almost thirty years, I would love to travel there and see some of the cities or locations that we visited in our role-playing sessions over the years.

That said, there are many dangers in Arvelas, and I may regret this decision if it one day comes to pass…(less)
