It's only been what? Three years?

I have a gameplan, it looks a bit like this

In my last post, I gave my goals of 2022, which mostly revolve around my writing goals. Now it's time to discuss what completing those goals is going to look like.
In other words, today I'm sharing my gameplan. Now I'll admit, it's not much of a gameplan, but what can I say? I'm a planster, I like a little structure and to come up with the rest along the way.
As I mentioned when I stated my 2022 goals, I only have to finish writing two of the five projects that I want to release this year. These p...

Looking to 2022: My New Goals

(all images via Pinterest, I take no credit for them)
Well, all right then. Apparently, it's 2022. Which now leaves me in the awkward predicament of trying to figure out what I'm going to do with myself for another year. So here we go, as per tradition I shall set a bunch of goals that I shall struggle to accomplish for the next twelve months so that at the end of the year I can laugh at what unrealistic expectations I had.
Life:
In terms of life g...

Harbinger's Cover Reveal

I know this has all been rather sudden. I announce a project and then two weeks later I'm revealing the cover. But what can I say? Everything has been sudden when it comes to this project. I hadn't even been planning to publish it in 2022 originally, but then I found the perfect cover for this story and somehow all my plans fell apart and new ones collapsed into place and...yup. I'm so excited because I've been putting this story off for about six months now and it finally has been announced, ha...

2021 Wrap-Up

And here we are, at the end of another year and I'm feeling retrospective again. So, let's take a look back over the past year and see all that was accomplished.
First let's take a look at what I wanted to get done, then we can compare that to what I actually did.
Here is the post where I stated my 2021 goals.
I did not have many. After the year that was 2020, I was absolutely terrified to get my hopes up for anything. However, this year, I realized that things weren't getting any better (actually...

A little about my next Ruskhazar projects

Rage Like the Gods may be done, but things are far from finished in Ruskhazar.
I'm currently hard at work drafting two projects set there. One is Rage Like the God's sequel Folly of the Gods which I shall say absolutely nothing about because of spoilers.
But the next project I am so excited to share more about. It's the first book set in a totally different series that takes place in Ruskhazar. I've said before that there are twentyish books set in Ruskhazar...
Introducing my new WIP: Harbinger of the End

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. I am indeed writing a book about Loki. This is the secret project I have been hinting about since June, however because it was only a side project, I have refrained (with great difficulty because I have been just busting at the seams to tell you all about this one) from saying anything more about this story until I had gotten a little farther into it. Unfortunately, life and other WIPs got in the way and for s...

Know the Novel Part 3: Words Written

It is now December, NaNoWriMo is in the rearview mirror and authors everywhere are sighing in relief and struggling to pick up the little pieces of what is left of their sanity after it shattered... or maybe that's just me.
Either way, NaNoWriMo is over. But even though one of my favorite writing events has now ended, it shall live forever in my heart. Or at least it will live on in my heart until I am distracted by something else.
So let's re...

So... How Did NaNo Go?

We are now entering into the final month of the year. Many of us are recovering from the haze of words known as NaNoWriMo. This year my goal was to finally finish writing Rage Like the Gods.
So yeah... I didn't exactly finish RLtG, at least not in November as I had originally expected. I gave it my best shot, I wrote 68k words last month and finished three of the four POVs I had to write. However, it turns out RLtG was a monstrously huge beast, and I needed an extra wee...

I'm writing this blog post today instead of Monday for two reasons.
