It's finished! Why am I not excited?
I am still trying to figure out a set day of the week to put up my blog posts, but while I do that I'm writing this today cause it's my day off.

Goals of 2019
(Which I will definitely not keep)Well, hello, 2019. What are you doing here already? Even though 2019 took me by surprise, I'm still totally prepared for it because I have my whole truckload of resolutions/goals already prepared. I decided that today, I would share my goals for this year. I always make a ton of goals in the beginning of the year and most of them are not realistic at all, but I guess that's the problem with being an optimist.

Welcome to my blog,
At the start of 2019, I finally decided to do something that I've been saying that I would do for forever. It was one of my resolutions this year. I STARTED A BLOG!!! Which is kind of crazy because I never do any of my resolutions. I just procrastinate until the middle of the year when I either forget what I even wanted to do, or I decide that I don't even want to do it. A Winter Dark and Deadly
There were once three kingdoms that made up the land of Illesya.
Now there is only one.
Three rulers remain. Two queens and a king.
Darkness, vengeance, snow.
A dark prince, an evil sorceress, and a princess of ice.
They are locked in an eternal struggle, each desiring something from the other.
Power, beauty, love.
It is these desires that shall destroy them...
Hey, readers! Who here is excited for my upcoming release A Winter Dark and Deadly? I know I certainly am, even if I do still have a lot of editing to do.
I have decided that if fifty people have added A Winter Dark and Deadly to their to-read shelves by the first of December then I will release the first five chapters and prologue that month. Two months before its planned release.
So head on over and add my book to your to-read shelves: A Winter Dark and Deadly.

Fan Art Contest
Do any of you have a special talent for sketching, drawing, painting, or any general artistry? Well, then I have an announcement that I think will interest you.
So this is an idea that I've had for a while and I was waiting until I republished My Time in Amar book two A Time of Trepidation, Pirates, and Lost Princesses, however that's taking longer than anticipated so I shall go ahead and do it now.
I'm hosting a fan art contest for my Amar novels. That includes A Week of Werewolves, Faeries, and Fancy Dresses, and even A Time of Trepidation, Pirates, and Lost Princesses if it is finished in time. And the companion novel A Certain Sort of Madness which will be releasing in October (cover reveal is August 25th, you don't want to miss it, guys, seriously, this cover is so gorgeous!).
The submission period is from August 8th, 2018 until January 31st, 2019 when I will choose a winner completely at my discretion. The artist of the winning picture will win a character made off of them in the coming third book in The My Time in Amar series A Season of Subterfuge, Courtiers, And War Councils
From August 8th, till the contest ends on January 31st keep an eye out for the intervals when I will have A Week of Werewolves, Faeries, and Fancy Dresses and A Certain Sort of Madness up for free.
I am looking for pictures of characters and scenes from the three books listed above. You are allowed multiple entries. No payments required.
