You asked so I guess now I have to answer

Julian Daventry

Favorite book you've written to date?

oh my, that's a... that's a good question. All of my books have different features that I enjoy, so picking a favorite is hard. However, taking into consideration how much I hated writing some of them I would say that it would have to be either A Certain Sort of Madness or Of Gold and Iron. They both have very fun, easy to write plots, and excellent chemistry between characters. And quite a few things that happened along the way that made me ca...

AN ANNOUNCEMENT (and guess what it STILL isn’t the one you think) (but you’ll like it)

(via Pinterest)

Wish I could take credit for that title but I can't. I think my brain died last week so I had my mate Faith think up a blog title for me. Wish I could have gotten someone to write this blog post too, but no unfortunately this is 100% Nicki original just with the added flavor of no brain working.

Friends and fellow bookworms I have been looking forward to today. Why? Well it's the first day of summer LONG LIVE THE SUMMER COURT (also never mind the all caps part of that sentence beca...

Heya all, in case the above header wasn't a dead giveaway, today we have a special exciting post and by special exciting post I mean a... cover reveal. As I'm sure most of you know, I'm an absolute sucker for fae...

it's kind of a recurring theme in my own books >>>>

So you had better believe that I'm excited about this book titled An Echo of the Fae. It just looks so charming and whimsical. But enough about my impression of the cover why don't you just take a look at it yourself and form your ow...

Monsters, News, and an Update or Two

(Image via me because I made it)

I made it to 20k words in BARN. 20,250 words to be brutally precise. Which isn't bad considering that I started it last month (originally I was distracted and typed night instead, and man wouldn't that have been a feat?) and that's probably the most I have written in anything else since like last November. So I am certainly pleased.

That puts me at about I-Don't-Know in this indeterminably long novel. I'm starting to find a little bit ...

Cover Reveal: At Summer's End

Y'all we have got a cover reveal for today, for an upcoming Jes Drew release.

Monsters, News, and... a Debut?

Oh man, I'm not even going to ask where the time went because I don't think I want to know the answer. A lot has happened in the two(ish) months since I went on hiatus. I hope that you all have been staying healthy and the likes.

But anyway I'm back.

Of a sorts.

I'm maybe kind of still on hiatus? I don't know. Not sure if I'm ever going to find a blogging schedule that fits for me but maybe I'm just bad with schedules in general.

BUT with all of that said and aside and stuff.... I sort of have...

News- perhaps not the news you expected, but at least it's news

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

You know how in the last post I said I had a lot of fun stuff in store for this blog. I lied. Turns out I'm actually going on a hiatus. An official one this time, so I won't keep saying that I'm gonna get on the blogging bandwagon over and over and then go a whole month without posting.

I'm going to be honest, I'm struggling when it comes to my writing. I haven't been able to write anything of consequence since November. So I'm taking a break from the...

Dronefall Halftime Blog Tour

Hi everyone I'm back. I fully understand the irony of the fact that my goal in 2020 being to blog more and then I basically don't post at all for January except in the first week.

So yeah...

*coughs awkwardly*

Anyway while I try to figure out a consistent blogging schedule for the rest of the year, here is a nice little blog tour post to tide you over.

I don't know about you guys, but I will admit that I have been on a bit of a Science Fiction fix and since I am new to the genre, I don't know...

At long last I am going to share with you the cover for A Season of Subterfuge, Courtiers, and War Councils and can I just say how excited I am?
Because I'm pretty excited XD
