So, I haven't Talked About My Gameplan Lately...

Whelp, so the good news is that I do in fact have a gameplan.

The downside to that is that it is an extremely ambitious gameplan. Which I suppose is entirely advantageous for you because it means more books.

Okay so here's the deal. I plan on releasing ten books next year. Yup, that's right, I said ten. That will almost double the number of books I currently have out.

But notice that I didn't say publish? Well, there's a reason for that. You see, I'm actually going to be releasing a couple of my pr...

In Which I Finally Talk About Camp NaNo

Aight, so somehow the entire month has gotten past me and I have yet to discuss at any length what I am working on for Camp NaNo, or even how it has been going. Well, this post is supposed to help remedy that.
So, for this month I've been working on writing my book The Gods Created Monsters a story about four chaotic outcasts and a cat who are recruited to fight monsters, kill undead, and forestall the end of the world. It's the first book in a series that is set in Ruskhazar.

Here's a post going...

Indie Author Blog Tag

Time to discuss one of my favorite things... indie publishing. Okay, so I only just found out that I was tagged for this by R.M. Archer even though I was actually tagged forever ago. But better late than never, eh?

RulesLink back to the original tag (idk where the original tag is from, sorry)Link to the authors you mention (or their books) in your answersTag 5 other indie authors (I tag Jes Drew, Grace Morris, RES, Bryn Shutt, and HSJ WIlliams)Questions

The Jolly Genre Jubilee Tag

(image from Pinterest, I take no credit for it)

Okay so I've been tagged by the marvelous Christine to do the Jolly Genre Jubilee tag. The above image has probably already given away what genre I'll spend the majority of my time talking about, but anyway let's get on to the tag. I'll try not to be too predictable, but by now you guys have probably figured out that I'm obsessed with fantasy.

Thank the blogger who tagged you, and leave a link back to their blog (eyyyy thanks Christine!)Leave a link...

Mistakes I've made in my publishing journey: Of Dreams and Nightmares edition

While publishing this series, I made far fewer glaring mistakes than I had in the past. I also didn't release the first book until I had five years of publishing under my belt. There is only one thing that I think I would really do differently with this one.

And that is I would have hyped it up more pre-release. I published Of Gold and Iron in September of 2020 in the midst of my almost year-long internet hiatus (cause 2020 was a rough year y'all), and I did next to nothing to spread the word ab...

Mistakes I've made in my publishing journey: Winter Cursed edition

Winter Cursed was the next series I released, I actually technically released it before A Certain Sort of Madness the first Return to Amar book. For about five years there were only my Amar and Winter Cursed books out there in the world. As such, with it being a so much older title, I made many of the same mistakes that I made with my Amar books. The first two mistakes I list below are ones that already I touched on in the Amar edition post. But I'm going to say them again, because obviously I ...

Mistakes I've made in my publishing journey: Amar edition

Well, you guys, I think it's about time for a new blogging series. This one about mistakes I've made along the way. Which isn't exactly the most cheerful subject, but ah well, we wouldn't be where we are now without our mistakes right?
You see, I've been writing for well over a decade, and I've been a published author for going on eight years now. Due to this fact, I have a boatload of experience. Most of it gained from things that I did wrong. So I thought I would share some of those things I d...

Rage Like the Gods Cover Reveal

You guys!!! I am so excited because today I am finally able to share the cover for my upcoming epic fantasy novel Rage Like the Gods. And before we do the reveal, I will spoil it for you because yes, it is absolutely gorgeous. It was designed by Hannah Rogers who did the covers for both A Tale of Gods and Glory as well as Between Gods and Demigods. The border, back, and spine were designed by GetCovers

I cannot wait for this book to release, RLtG is such a special story to me and its cover is abs...

An Era of Evil Dragons and Dark Lords Cover Reveal

So FUNNY story, I somehow accidentally bought a cover for An Era of Evil, Dragons, and Dark Lords more than a year before I'm planning to release it (December of 2023, baby). How does one "accidentally" buy a cover? You may be asking. It's a valid question, I'll give you that.

Well, it all started with the fact that both Week of Werewolves' and Time of Trepidation's covers were bough premade (meaning that they were already designed and I bought them from the creator, had a few changes to the colo...
