Dating Apps are Weird and I’m Often Confused

Dating apps have been around for quite awhile now, but it still seems difficult to meet someone who totally clicks. You are not alone.
Unlike some people, I need more than a week or two before classifying what we have as a Relationship.
Like many workplaces that have a 90-day window to decide if you fit or not, I’m going to wait 90 days to decide you’re my partner.I also dislike the boyfriend/girlfriend labels. It’s m...

Adventures in Writing: Rehousing Previous Posts

Sadly, I’ve made the choice to not renew the Sisters in Smut domain. We haven’t been using it often enough to keep it up and running.
I’ve let the others know that I plan to let the domain name go in May. This will give everyone plenty of time to move their posts to their own domains or other platforms if they wish to do so.
I’m not sure how to disable emails going out when I move my posts over. So, I apo...

Publishing Old Stories on Medium

Since I haven’t been writing I have given up the M.J. Spencer author name. I’ve removed the titles (or at least put them back in draft-mode everywhere because there is no such thing as deletion) from Amazon and Smashwords.
I’ve also removed the author pages on both platforms as well. Instead, the old stories from the M.J. Spencer name are going to be published on Medium.
All 10, yes, all TEN, of the Fix-It Fast stories are there now. Of course, I posted them and then there were a coupl...

Quicklinks: How to build your own

If you have a self-hosted WordPress website then you’re probably using a theme that comes with a builder for pages, forms, and more.
I would rather you pay a fee to an individual (like say me) to make a Quicklinks page for you on your own website rather than pay a monthly fee to a platform to host one for you.
You’re already paying a hosting fee for your website, so paying any extra funds is throwing away money.
WordPress themes give you the tool...

Dildo Shenanigans: Where it all began
First, I’d like to state that I am not responsible for the full name of Big Blue. I have friends who enjoy tormenting me and have probably been banned from naming things in the future.
Okay, let’s be real. We know they’ve been banned from naming things in the future.Every year, Smutathon – Smut for a Cause – happens. Every year, I donate. This last time I won a prize! I won a handcrafted dildo from SheVibe. He is handsome as hell and quite f...

Marinating in Self-Care

Okay, that’s it. That’s the post.
Just kidding! Wait! Come back!
Once upon a time, I enjoyed reading while soaking in a hot bath. Back then, we didn’t have things like bath bombs. We had Epsom salts and Vaseline Intensive Care bath beads. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed VIC. It was the whole reason to get in the bath with a pap...

2020 was Supposed to be My Year

Oh 2020… we had so many hopes and they just crashed and burned. Let me get the salt…
Compare and Contrast
Who knew that 2019 would be a great year compared to what everyone has been going through for 2020? I got to do way more last year than I did this year. Sadly, I didn’t get to go to Florida this year, so no Smuttylicious Island time for me. I suppose maybe that’s punishment for getting to go twice la...

Finish This: Man in a Tux

Finish This: What it is?
I posted a tweet today saying “Actually just thought about posting unfinished stories on my blog so that others can pick up my slack and see what kind of tales they become.” I received a couple of responses from Angora Shade and Randall G. Arnold expressing interest. So, let’s give this a whirl.
Most of my story ideas come from conversations I have with people, sometimes I wake up with a foggy notion. One morning I woke up remembering snippets of a dream about ...

Sizzling Nibbles: Reviving the Orchard

Choking, burning, darkness.
Pain. Alive. Intruder!
Heart-wrenching devastation dropped me to my knees. When I read the property details, the words did not convey an accurate picture. Wildfires decimated the orchard. The house had been looted but not burned. Ash clung to everything. Between fire and rain… was there...
