Constants & Variables (Piano & Synth Album) – 8 years in Second Life
For the last 8 years, I’ve been performing live music nearly every Saturday morning via the Internet. The audience at Nitida Ridge and the hostess, Bree, have been truly wonderful throughout. I am so grateful to have a neat place where I can just hang out and play music for people who enjoy it. So much of music’s draw is simply this.
I recorded the performance from October 3rd, 2015. With some small edits, here it is:

Here he is playing the title track off his new album, “True North”:
Jim honored me in asking that I take part in several tracks of the album, t...

Inside Out – A Well Done Movie of the Psyche
I’m so glad the movie Inside Out exists. I can now point to something whenever someone asks what psychoanalysis is about. Too often, psychoanalysis is associated with hidden phallic symbols, lusting for mothers, and the like. But the real issues, the depth of it, is about that which is meaningful to the individual, the emotions touched off by our environments, and how we grow as human beings.
The movie is such a fun and vibrant presentation of concepts of the mind. The importance of grief an...
