Grouping Tasks by Session – Using OmniFocus

Dashboard-Perspective-2016-03-15

A good list is one we can easily review in a short period of time so that we can make a clear decision about what to do next. For this to be the case, we generally need a short list.

Check out the rest of the post at UsingOmniFocus.com.

Go is infamously known as the only game that a computer has yet to beat a human masterin.I have played go on several occasions throughout my life, and knowenough that if I were to get any good at it, I would need to dedicate serious time and attention to it.

Though, I do not spend much time with it now, I can also say there is averydeep beauty to it. If I had another life, I would love to just spend it playi...

On Cal Newport’s Deep Work

Introduction

A few months ago, a reader had written asking how to integrate my own writings with those of Cal Newport’s. Synthesizer Experiment – Halion 5 and RC48

This weekend, I had fun experimenting with Native Instrument’s RC48 Reverb plugin. The synthesizer is one I built up using Steinberg’s Halion 5.

The RC48 has a neat visualization function that looked like it should be blown up and put on full screen. The following is an improvisation I did to mess around with staccato, legato, and distorted sounds in the context of heavy reverb:

Test post – please ignore

This is a test post. As excellently crafted as it is, it is also designed to be ignored. But as value is co-created, I cannot make claims as to its value to the individual reader.

However, to add value, I will now swear for the first time on this blog. Ready? …

Poop.

Grunge Bonobo (Synthesizer)

Here’s a track I created a while back, but am only now releasing. In fact, I’ve entered it as part of the International Songwriting Competition (ISC), because why not?

Enjoy Grunge Bonobo:
