A is for . . . Alpha’s and Age Play – Spanking Blogging Challenge #SpankA2Z

A is for . . . Alpha’s and Age Play

by Ravyn Rayne

Okay. I couldn’t commit to either Alpha or Age Play. Choosing one was super difficult. It’s like picking your favorite kid, and well thankfully I don’t have that problem. No kids here! Just a niece and two nephews I adore.

So back to the topic of A.

Who’s your all-time favorite alpha character in a novel? How about in an age play romantic erotica? A well-written age play novel really needs an alpha, at least as far as I’ve read. (Have one that doesn’t and can convince me otherwise, then comment with what story I should read.)

My first age play novel that I read was by Elsa Black, Becoming Lil’ Mandy. It of course features alpha, Ethan Sharp.

becoming lil mandy

Book Blurb from Goodreads:

“My desire to dominate isn’t unlike your desire to submit. But my desire to dominate is stronger than what most partners are willing to allow. I’m one of those rare men who want to not just correct and train, but to coddle, guide and control. I require a deep submission – the ultimate submission. I desire a woman who can fall back into that purest trusting state, that age of perfect innocence when her Papa was her whole wide world. I want a woman whose dependence is total – from the time I wake her up to the time I put her to bed. That level of care? That, sweet Mandy, is my calling. And for all my wealth – and it is substantial – I will not feel truly rich until I find the woman strong enough to put herself in my care.”

Amanda Wingate is the failed product of what should have been a charmed life. Adopted into a family of wealth where she wasn’t truly wanted, her desire for paternal acceptance made her prey to a dominant man whose betrayal landed her in prison.

When she is selected for a program designed to reform non-violent prisoners, she has no idea that the backers are actually a group of powerful men who select women for clients looking for Little Ones to train and claim as their own.

Ethan Sharp has everything – looks, wealth and a successful business. What he lacks is the connection he has given up finding among women in his social circle. When he is directed to the Eden Institute, he believes he has found the answer.

But will his pairing with the emotionally vulnerable Amanda Wingate be successful? Ethan is eager to earn her ultimate submission. And with the help of a stern nanny, he begins the loving and sensual task of transforming Amanda into Mandy through equal measures of spankings and sexual submission, which includes making her submit parts of herself she never thought possible. Can her journey into deep submission heal Amanda’s heart and give her the security that’s eluded her all her life?

“Becoming Lil’ Mandy” is a story told against the backdrop of the Eden Institute, which features interplay with other couples in a lifestyle that’s become a source of literary fascination for thousands of readers who enjoy tales of intense submission.

Here’s my 5 star review and thoughts on the novel.

This is a fantastic story if you’re a virgin age play reader or avid lover of age play novels.

I read the sample on Amazon and then opted to buy the book. Why age play? I was curious what all the fuss is about.

It was incredibly well written, free of grammatical errors. The plot was well paced and moved smoothly between chapters. It took me three days to read this book. It’s not incredibly long but it is a little long for an erotica novel. That’s not a bad thing, be prepared to feel invested in both the characters and the story line.

Here’s the thing, it’s not just erotica. There’s a plot and I appreciated the underlying tones to the plot (prison, the institute) and I’m curious to see where those subplots go in the next book.

As for the sex scenes they are steamy and there is some kink. If you’re looking for an age play novel, definitely give this one a shot.

Dear Diary by M.B. Feeney

The brilliant and loving Mich Feeney has joined the Magic of Books Promotions team. Her talents and expertise will shoot the promotional company into the stars and beyond. To help welcome her into the family, as owner of the company, I present the newest book of the author and friend she has become to me.

M. B. Feeney is an army brat who finally settled down in Birmingham, UK with her other half, two kids and a dog. Currently at university studying for her BA (Hons) in primary teaching, she procrastinates on her assignments by listening to music of all genres and trying to get ‘just one more paragraph’ written on whichever WIP is open. She is also a serious doodler and chocoholic. Writing has been her one true love ever since she could spell, and publishing is the final culmination of her hard work and ambition.Her publishing career began with two novellas, and she currently has multiple projects under way whilst Honour, a compilation of her own military based shorts, was released in November 2013 and her short novel, The One That Got Away was released February 2015. Always having something on the go can often lead to block which eventually gets dissolved by good music and an even better book.

Her main reason for writing is to not only give her readers enjoyment, but also to create a story and characters that stay with readers long after the book is finished, and possibly make someone stop and think “what if…”

~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’ve only just met Mich, but I already see a lifelong friend. Her talents go far beyond writing. She’s a thankless mother of two, a loving woman to her soulmate and is always thinking of her friends before herself. Maybe that’s one of the reasons she’s gone into teaching; a chance to shape the young minds of our future writers. I’m so excited to spend time with a generous and loving personality like hers and to learn and grow from her wealth of expertise. My life will never be the same now that you have entered my life.
Hmm, a personal testimony about Mich (M.B. Feeney) . . . Where to start! Shall I do this like a Best Man speech? Yeah, why not
.
*pouts that I don’t have a glass of bubbly to toast this awesome girl*
Well, I first ‘met’ Mich quite a few years ago. I can’t remember the exact details, but knowing us two, we were probably up to no good. It was online, of course, but that didn’t stop us! We grew close as friends and then we cemented our friendship by meeting up in person. It was at a Twilight convention (don’t groan, it was a fun weekend! Lol).
Here’s what I’ve learned and loved about Mich over the years:
She is fiercely loyal to her friends and family. No matter what, she’s there. No matter what she’s going through herself, she’s there for her friends.
She has a slight music addiction (which we share). I’ve lost count on the artists we’ve talked about over the years lol.
She also adores her cowboy boots (The Boots Stay on!) I swear this addiction was brought on by Jackson Rathbone, but it’s not like I’d complain. Have you seen that man on stage? Phew!
She loves 1 Direction *coughs* Louis *coughs*
She is one hell of a kick arse author! Have you read her books? Damn, this girl can write! She sticks to normal men! Nope, there’s not a billionaire arsehole in sight, thank God!
She’s training to be a teacher. Now, props to her, because being in a classroom of 30+ kids all day . . . nah lol.
But the thing I love about Mich is this. She’s Mich. She puts on no front. What you see is what you get and that’s quite rare in an author. She hates putting herself out there. She hates pimping herself. She’ll bend over backwards for anyone, but ignores herself.
She is an awesome friend and I know that I can count on her for anything. I know she wants the publishing world to take her seriously, because she lives for books – reading and writing.
And Mich, when you get this, when you sit and read this . . . Thanks. Thanks for being such an amazing friend, an awesome author, and someone anyone can instantly love.
*raises cup of tea*
The moment I read M B Feeney’s first
story, I knew I had discovered one seriously talented author. With a
British flavour to each of her stories, M B builds strong, unique
characters that draw the reader in until they can’t help but become
invested. Her latest offering, Dear Diary (The Exchange Series Book
1) is no exception. A great start to what I anticipate will be a
fantastic series.
When she’s not
busy with writing, her studies and family commitments, M B Feeney is
100 percent committed to supporting the indie writing community. She
has not only read and reviewed hundreds, if not thousands of stories
over the years, she has always been there to lend an ear, shoulder,
or hand any way she can for countless numbers of people.
On a personal level, I’ve known M B
Feeney for well over 5 years. She is a true friend, mother, sister
and confidante… a woman who is genuine, honest, and generous to a
fault. (She is also quite partial to pear cider now and then too
lol). She also encouraged me to take my first tentative step into the
world of writing, and for that, I will be forever grateful. I can
honestly say without a single doubt in my mind, that if it weren’t
for one Ms M B Feeney, I would not have become a published author.
With stories set in England that are witty yet quirky, M.B. Feeney has a way with words that’ll suck you right into her fictional worlds. I’m proud to call her friend.
I Got Your Back, Hailey by June Kramin
I Got Your Back, Hailey
Name of EditorErica Ellis
Name of cover designerValerie Kramin
Page # – 300
Official genre of bookRomantic suspense/thriller
Content warninglanguage – low heat rating
Original publication dateApril 7, 2014
When Hailey stumbles upon a backpack full of money on her nightly jog, she is forced to flee the security of her secret identity. Although the sudden appearance of a man that had been flirting with her earlier seems odd, Hailey accepts Parker’s help in getting the heavy bag home. Within moments of arriving, they escape under gunfire. The men it was intended for want it back, and Hailey has now made herself a target. Safe in a motel room, the two of them discover the truth: although their meeting was an accident, Parker had been involved in the bag’s drop and she had been his assignment all along. Now, getting Hailey away safely is Parker’s new mission. Together they struggle to put together the pieces of Hailey’s past and discover that they have more in common than they thought.
“Exactly what is the plan here?” I asked after another long sip of beer.
“I’m not exactly sure now. The money is definitely not going to do what it was supposed to, and you have no business being involved in all of this.”
“Pardon me, but that’s your fault.”
“Let’s not do this again, okay? Are you forgetting I chose you over the money?”
My eyes lowered. “No. I’m really not sure of the etiquette on how many times I’m supposed to thank you for that.”
“Let’s drop it. What’s done is done. I need to figure out what to do from here. How to get back on track and get you somewhere safe.” I walked over to the small refrigerator for another beer. “Parker? Is there a chance I can make a phone call?”
“That depends. You going to try to signal for help?”
“No. I…I think I need to let my mom know I’m okay. She normally calls me on Saturdays for an update. I’m worried she’ll think something is wrong if I don’t call soon.”
“We’ll go get you your makeup or whatever you want, and I’ll get a new throwaway phone. You can call her from that. No giving away anything about our location.”
I was getting tired of all this cloak-and-dagger shit. It was wearing on my last nerve. “Who exactly is following you? What was the money for, Parker? Or Gavin. Whatever your name is! This is no longer funny! You think they’d tap my mother’s phone?” I rushed his chair and landed both hands hard on his chest. He grasped my wrists and held them tight as he stood.
“Whoa! Why would you think someone would want you back so bad as to post someone on your mother?”
I shook my arms, trying to get free. “Let me go.”
“You going to be civil?”
“Yes. Please let me go.”
Too nervous now to return to the chair, I stood and peered out of the crack in the curtain. “I need to know something and I need the truth.” I faced him, needing to look into his eyes. The eyes always give it away.
“Fire away.” He motioned that I should carry on with a wave of his hand.
“I think I tripped on this money by accident, but I need to know if I was set up.”
“You? Set up? Why do you think you were set up? How could I have possibly pulled that off?”
“Things just don’t add up. We flee under gunfire…you save me but don’t take the money…”
“Back up. What do you know that you think someone would pay a million bucks for?”
“More like kill me for it.”
A tiny little twitch upward at the corners of her mouth at that statement made him groan. “Just this once in my life I want to have something start right. I want it to go the way it’s supposed to. I want a preacher to say the words over us, then he’ll tell us to kiss and I can take you home and make love to my wife all night long.”
Letting go of her arms, Munk watched as she crossed both arms over her chest. “It’s because of your mother. That’s the reason you want to wait?”
Running both hands through his hair, he looked down at his shoes. “Partially, I guess. Ya, I’ve screwed other girls. I didn’t think I had a hope in hell of winding up with you. After I figured out there might be a chance, I haven’t been with another woman. I want it to be right. I want us to be shiny and bright like that bracelet is now, not like it’s going to be when it tarnishes.”
Her bare feet shuffled closer to him and Munk found his head pillowed against her chest. “I’m so sorry, love. I didn’t understand. We’ll do it your way. I don’t want you to ever feel that way again.”
Without thinking about it, his arms went around her. “What way?” he whispered.
“Like you don’t matter. Like you’re not good enough.” Long, delicate fingers combed through his hair. The scent of her rose into his nostrils and he was almost in heaven. “You are a good man and I love you, Munro Lowell Riley. I love everything about you. But, can we at least get married as soon as this miserable job is over? Please?”
Pulling slightly backward, he looked up to find her face turned toward him. “If you get out of this dive. If we go to Palmer on your day off, we can get the damn license and swear to God, the day after I’m away from here we can get married. You can stay in the cabin and set the whole thing up. Have it at the Great grans’ place. I don’t care who you invite, but the minute the ceremony is over, we’re gone.”
“But how are we going to get out of here? You don’t have your truck, do you?”
“I’ll get us out of here. Let me handle that. How about you tell me what brought this sex thing on? We’ve never had this come up before.”
Della held his head in both hands and kissed him sweetly on the lips, then the forehead, before tugging him against her chest. “I had a dream. I had to go take a shower after it was over.”
Breaking away from her, he stood and pushed her hair behind her ears. “You mean like a wet dream. You got hot for me?”
Cheeks flooding with color, Della nodded. “Yes. And I got tired of being everybody’s good little girl. I asked Sandy about it and she told me guys like blowjobs.”
The color in her cheeks deepened. “She said I was asking the wrong person ’cause she’s into girls. And Sandy said I was a hottie.”
“She didn’t do anything, did she?”
“No. She said she wasn’t a cheat and she has a partner at home. But she said a threesome might be fun.”
The look on Della’s face was so serious, Munk had a hard time holding in a laugh. “Okay, as long as she keeps her hands to herself, we’re good.”
Taking her wrists in his hands, Munk slowly backed Della toward the bed. “What did you do in the shower, Della? How did you fix it?”
Although born in New Orleans, I am proud to call myself an Alaskan. I have lived here since 1977. I have seen -40 degrees, hauled water, made bear bacon and I live in a cabin. I have used a fishwheel to catch salmon coming up the Copper River. I was my second husband’s chief mechanic’s helper and roadie. I have cut firewood on shares. I worked as a cocktail waitress during pipeline days in a small lodge on the Richardson Highway.
My second husband, a Scot from Glasgow, was the love of my life. When I write Scots dialect, I personally experienced hearing it from my in laws. When my husband got on the phone to Scotland, after 5 seconds I could barely understand a word.
We moved to Wasilla to get warm. It barely drops past -25 degrees here in the winter. I became a paralegal and worked for over 26 years for the same firm.
Alaska is my home. I never thought I would love it so much, I never want to leave. The beauty of Alaska is a draw I cannot resist. I love the people and the history. I have been captured by a place I came to under duress. Life does play some interesting tricks on one. My love and I were not apart more than 24 hours for 20 plus years. I never wanted to be anywhere but with him. He was a man to run the river with and was my biggest fan.
Blurb
This isn’t the man I married.
The man I married was strong, beautiful and pure.
The man I married cherished our lives together.
The man I married loved me.
This…this isn’t that man.One night. One accident. It changes everything.
I wish I could tell you the exact moment he fell out of love with me.
I wish I could tell you there was hope. That I hung on. That I fought.
I wish I could tell you that we fixed it.
That happily ever after was just out of our grips.It wasn’t. I ran.
In the dead of the night, I packed my things and I left him.
Now I’m back.
He’s still the same man. A deadly underground fighter for the House Of Obsidian. He’s still dangerous. He’s still broken. I still love him.
This is the part where I’m supposed to turn back around and run… But I don’t.
Title: Flawed Love
Series: House of Obsidian #2
Author: Bella Jewel
Cover Design: LM Creations
 Release Date: July 20, 2015
Blurb
We were born into the same crowd.
His father: a useless drunk. My mother: a psycho junkie.
We lived across the road from each other.
We became best friends when I was only ten.
He became my sole reason for breathing.
Seven years later, he forgot about me.
I don’t know the exact moment he changed.
Suddenly I was just the girl next door, and he no longer cared.
He didn’t want to be in my life. He didn’t want to help.
He ran off the rails, tossing me aside.
I no longer mattered. Nothing we shared did.
The next thing I knew – he was gone.
Ten years and I didn’t see or hear from him.
Then came the call I’d be waiting for – he was back in town.
Only the man I remembered is not him.
This man is quiet, deadly, and so incredibly beautiful.
He also doesn’t remember me.
I let him believe I’m just a girl that walked into his bar.
I let him believe I’m just a friend.
I let him use me on the cold, dark nights.
I let him believe I’m incapable of love, just like he is.
I just let the secret go on and on.
But all secrets have an end, don’t they?
Dylan usually gets what he wants…except for Nicoletta.
Resident bad boy and wilderness guide Dylan Harper lives life on his own terms, until one fateful night when an accident leaves him broken and rethinking his life. The man with one regret will come face to face with it when he least expects to. The only girl to tell him no, Nicoletta Ballas, is hired to help him with his recovery and is the only one who could destroy his heart and soul.
Nicoletta seems to always choose what isn’t good for her
Widowed nurse Nicoletta Ballas comes home after college, a disastrous marriage, and working for three years on a cruise ship. She is immediately thrown into the world she had run from when she left for nursing school at 18. Bad boy Dylan Harper was her childhood best friend but his promiscuity came between them. As they begin to reconnect, they are faced with a mysterious piece of her past that she thought was dead and buried. They and their love may or may not survive the pure evil that haunts her.
“This place hasn’t changed a bit,” Nicoletta said as they were seated by the front window. “We even got our old table.”
“How many times did we sit here?” Dylan asked thoughtfully. “Hundreds, if not thousands.”
“Good memories,” Nic said, her eyes dreamy. “I’m getting chili fries!”
“That’s not a healthy breakfast,” Dylan protested. A moment later, his head dropped to his chest. “God I’ve become my mother.”
“Nah,” she replied with a wink. “She thinks with her head. Are you getting an omelet? We could share.”
“They do still have the best omelets,” he said in response. “If we’re sharing, what kind she would we get?”
“Ham, mushrooms and Swiss sounds good to me,” she said, licking her lips.
“At least your taste in eggs and salad dressings hasn’t changed.” It was left unsaid which of her other tastes he thought may have evolved into something new.
Their server soon arrived and took their order. Her eyebrow raised at the mention of chili fries, but she just shrugged and headed to the kitchen to deliver the request.
“Man, getting out of the apartment kicked my ass,” Dylan complained with a yawn. “I can hardly wait to go back up the stairs.”
“I’ll be there to help you up,” Nic replied, chuckling. “If you’ll stop being stubborn and let me.” As she turned to look out the window her face suddenly dropped. “It can’t be.”
“What’s wrong, Nic?” Dylan asked concerned. He turned and looked out the window too. “What did you see?”
“Not what, who,” she replied, her body shaking. “I swore I just saw Vince.”
“I thought he was…umm…dead,” Dylan said. “It couldn’t have been him.” He was confused, shouldn’t she have been excited at the prospect of seeing her late husband? The look on her face at that exact moment bordered on terror.
With a low, shallow breath, she looked back at him. “I know, but the man looked so much like him,” she replied. “Well, with lighter hair and wearing sunglasses.”
“It was probably just someone else who looks similar,” Dylan said, caressing her trembling hand. “People say I look a lot like Tom Welling.”
Nicoletta giggled and the terror spell was broken. “Dylan, you’re no Superman.”
“The lady thinks she’s funny,” he replied with a smirk. “But looks aren’t everything.”
Nicoletta replied by sticking her tongue out and telling him he was number one with a gesture of her hand. Dylan laughed and returned the gesture with both hands.
“You’re number eleven since you have two holes,” he whispered across the table. He looked away from her and started to drink his coffee.
“Yeah, but I only like to have one filled,” she replied. “And it’s not the one you are thinking.”
Coffee spewed from Dylan’s mouth as he choked. While he sat there, sputtering, Nicoletta couldn’t help but laugh at her friend. Shocking him had always been one of her favorite pastimes.
After a moment, Dylan was able to breathe normally and stared at her serious expression. She either has one hell of a poker face, or…
“What’s wrong, Dylan?” she asked in a sweet innocent voice. “Been drinking long?”
His head fell back against the seat. “What has my mother gotten me into?”
“Not any of my holes,” Nic said smiling. Dylan’s head snapped up and his eyes slowly closed, his head dropping to his chest. Nicoletta then mouthed the word… ‘yet’.
JJ Ellis
JJ Ellis is first and foremost a mom to five kids, four girls and one boy, ranging in age from 4-19. After that, she is a physically limited wife, blogger and now an author. She holds a degree in Communication Studies (Public Relations) from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas but never thought she would chose writing as a career, especially at the age of 42. She once wanted to be a publicist in the entertainment industry, but never a writer. Then one day when she was in her mid thirties she was going through what can only be described as an early ‘midlife crisis’ and ideas just started to come to her and she felt compelled to write them down. She finished her first book relatively quickly, but life got in the way and it took her eight years to revisit it and then publish her first novel. She can honestly say that now she is finally right where she wants to be.
JJ has been married to her college sweetheart (and romance novel hero) for twenty years and they reside in Casper, WY with their kids and one crazy mutt named Kreuger. She enjoys reading, writing, blogging, computing, and graphic design. She will try anything that will allow her creativity to be released.
TA Ellis
TA Ellis is married to best selling romance Author JJ Ellis and is the father to five kids, four girls and one boy, ranging in age from 4-19. He holds a degree in Secondary Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and has flirted with the idea of writing for years. He however did not expect to be writing romance as Sci-fi/horror/fantasy are more to his liking. But as a sounding board for his wife, he realized he had some good ideas and the team of JJ & TA Ellis was born.
TA lives in Casper, WY with his wife and kids and one crazy mutt named Kreuger. He enjoys reading, video games and grilling. He is excited to embark on this romance journey…after all, he’s been happily married for twenty years.
Smother by Lindy Zart
Smother
By- Lindy Zart
Genre- Romantic Suspense
You won’t like me.
I am not the nice girl.
I am not your friend.
I don’t care about you, but most of all, I don’t care about me.
Go ahead, hate me.
We all have secrets.
I have them as well—dark, terrible secrets.
The only time I can breathe is when I forget.
I need to be numb. You don’t want to know how.
But as long as I can breathe, the past cannot smother me.
Check out the trailer!
Excerpt-
“Everything okay?”
“Yes,” she lied.
Leo’s eyes darkened as he looked her over, seeing all she’d rather he didn’t. Her crimes were not visible, but even so, he knew them. She wanted to hide from him at the same time she wanted his arms around her so that she could hide from herself, from those men, from every man but him. Nothing about her made sense.
His jaw went tight. “Who was that?”
“No one,” Reese answered, wanting it to be true. She never wanted Leo to know those men. She wanted to forget them as well. She swore Leo could see each place they touched her—that he knew what Ryan and Daniel had done to her even though she’d never tell a soul.
“Those aren’t good men.”
“How do you know?”
She didn’t think it was possible for his jaw to tighten any more, but it did. “Just know.”
“Am I fired?” Reese asked slowly, wishing the drugs would clear completely from her brain, even if only for this conversation.
“Do you want to be?”
She swallowed and looked down without answering.
Yes.
No.
“You’re hurting yourself.”
Heat flooded her skin and she snapped her head up to glare at him. “No. I’m not.” I do this to stop hurting.
Leo moved toward her and she straightened, careful to keep her gaze on his. When he was close enough that she caught his clean scent and felt the heat of his body, he stopped. Reese wanted to close her eyes and let him wrap around her, just for a little while, just until she could forget who she was.
“You do things to fly, but you always fall.” The low rumble of his voice was soothing.
“Shut up,” she whispered.
“We all fall, eventually.” His voice was even, and yet she caught a hint of sadness within the syllables.
May by Audrey Carlan
Title: May
Series: Calendar Girl #5
Author: Audrey Carlan
 Release Date: May 28, 2015
Blurb
Swimsuits, sun, surfing, and a sexy Samoan.I headed to the island of Oahu, Hawaii to meet with cutting-edge swimsuit fashion designer, Angel D’Amico, to serve as head model for the “Beauty Comes in All Sizes” swimsuit campaign. The designer wants to show the world that beauty is not just a size two. My curves got me into this gig, and, the moment I laid eyes on my modeling “partner,” I’d never been happier with my buxom form.
Tai Niko had everything the average man lacked. Height, broad shoulders, a nipped in waist, square pecs, tree trunk thighs, and a look that rivaled “The Rock.” The part that made me drool and weakened my knees, was the thick, intricate tribal tattoos running down the entire left side of his muscled frame from shoulder to ankle. The design was unlike anything I’d ever seen, and I couldn’t wait to trace the tips of my fingers over every inch.
***
In the fifth book of the Calendar Girl serial, Mia is sent to Oahu, HI. Still on her mission to save her father, she embraces the model life to prove beauty really does come in all sizes.
Each installment in the Calendar Girl Serial will release every month throughout 2015. The stories will feature Mia’s journey as an escort to twelve clients in twelve different locations.
Warning: This book is designed for audiences 18+ due to language and graphic sexual content.
