I Heart Lesfic Spring Mega Sale

Just wanted to drop in real quick with a note that I’m participating in the I Heart Lesfic Spring Mega Sale! Over one hundred authors of lesbian fiction have banded together for this mega sale, where you can grab tons of books at deep discounts! There were so many books that the organizers had to break them down over two pages: romance and everything else. On the “everything else” page, you can find Cheerleaders from Planet X and Gale, as well as dozens of other speculative fiction titles ran...

Guide to rep in my books

A lot of my books have LGBT rep in them, but not all of them do. So I thought it would be helpful to make a quick guide to all my books and short stories so that you have an idea of what to look for based on your interests! The Iamos Trilogy + Tie-Ins Fourth World, New World, One World: asexual main characters | m/f platonic love story Different Worlds: straight main characters | m/f romance “The Choice” (newsletter exclusive): unspecified | no romance “Sea-Stars and Sand Dollars” (Brave New...

Read CinderellA.I. for free now!

You may have seen posts about this on social media last week, but if not: “CinderellA.I.”, my short story from Magic at Midnight, has been released as a stand-alone short story, and you can read it for free now! It’s available on Prolific Works, Gumroad, and other major e-book retailers. Check out the beautiful cover from DesignRAN! Madeline knows her role in life—such as it is. She’s an animatron, a lifelike robot built to perform in a fairy tale-inspired theme park. And she’s an Ugly Stepsi...

“Gale” is available widely!

Just a quick note today to let you all know that “Gale,” my short sci-fi retelling of Shakespeare’s The Tempest, is now available at ebook retailers outside of Amazon! Miranda doesn’t want to be different. On Gale, being different can get you killed. When her seizures began, Miranda tried to keep her abnormality secret. But then the visions started—ominous hallucinations of strange lights in the sky, an otherworldly monster with wings like a dragon, and a girl who appeared from the clouds lik...

Looking back on 2018

I posted this on Twitter about a week and a half ago, but I wanted to share it here as well: Since everyone’s been doing threads talking about their accomplishments from 2018, I wanted to join in because I’m really proud of how much I got done this year.

Bookish Holiday Giveaway

Happy December! Holiday season is upon us! Hanukkah begins tomorrow evening and Christmas is just over three weeks away now! You all know I get a little excited about the holidays, and this year is no exception. I’ve got a lot of fun things planned this month, starting with this fun bookish giveaway I’m co-sponsoring with a few of my YA author friends… I’m excited to be one of eight authors sponsoring a giveaway just in time for the holiday season. Interview with Adrian Mayes, narrator of CHEERLEADERS FROM PLANET X!

It’s been a busy month for me! This last weekend I attended Portland Book Festival, my first real author event! I was at the Snowy Wings Publishing booth along with fellow author T. Damon, signing and selling books. It was a lot of fun and I hope to be able to go again next year! I posted a few pictures from the event on Instagram, if you’d like to see them. In the meantime, the Cheerleaders from Planet X audiobook has been available for a few months now, and I was able to have a chat with th...

What’s next

New World‘s been on shelves for about a month now, and I’ve been taking a much-needed break to recharge my batteries. But I’m starting to feel human enough again to start thinking about what’s next for me, and I wanted to share that with all of you. 2018 was my most productive year so far. I had stories in two anthologies published this year, one of which I also edited. I released my longest novel to date—New World clocked in at 120,000 words, a whopping 421 pages. Word count-wise, New World...
