The Accountability Strain

The covid-19 pandemic has gone on for so long that nobody really seems to know or care if it was engineered, natural, or a combination of the two. Between Climate Change and this pandemic, and all sorts of geo-political crises thrown in, it is doubtful whether a large portion of the Human Race will survive 2022. The Omicron variant of the Wuhan virus is proof that this particular strain is intent on leaving a legacy. A legacy of murder without accountability.

Conundrums...

Not doing anything creates more disadvantages than doing something that should not be done.

To Last...

If two people don't share the same taste in music, they probably won't last.

If two people don't share the same taste in food, they definitely won't.

The Self...

You must be strong enough to survive yourself. The assumptions your mind throws at you… The guilt it brings… The pain the heart works up when least warranted… The confusions of the mind… The losses… The heartbreaks… The regrets… If you can survive yourself, you can survive anything the world flings at you. This is perhaps why ancient sages and mystics advised us to 'Look Within'.

A wish is but a dream...

I wish we could go back in time to our school days, to classes that taught practical real-life financial topics that would've helped us as adults. To classes that covered Climate Change and held routine 'peaceful protests' organized by schools themselves to demand change and evolved infrastructure, best practices even. So students can actually have a future in which to pursue their passions. The Climate Emergency is affecting any guarantee of a reliable future as early as century's end. It would have been in the interests of school and colleges, and their millions of students, to work together toward this common goal. A wish is but a dream, sadly, one from which we all need to wake up. Wake up, and smell the fossil fuels burning.

Eyes That See...

Those who insist they will die fighting always choose war over peace. They intentionally blind themselves so they will never have to see how well unity can solve the world's problems instead of divisive and egotistic aggression. Against a mindset of conflict, there can be no resolution. For eyes that see foes instead of friends, no light will be bright enough to illuminate the Truth.

Short of Life

Life is short. Climate Change has made it even shorter.
