Long Life...
You don't have one life to live but are technically living one long life divided into smaller sections called lifetimes.
Death is the ticket to the train of Reincarnation, which allows you to move through your extended journey of life. This is why everyone is more than what we see of them, what we know of them.
Each one of us is a saga being written, woven, and sung in such deep and intricate ways that even the wisest sages lack the words to fully describe the beauty and majesty of such creative intelligence.
The worst things define the best things. And therein lies the awe-inspiring, intimidating, and confounding mystery of the Divine.

Mediocrity...
In this day and age, with so much technological progress and artistic excellence happening around the world, there is no excuse for mediocrity.
There's no place or piece of logic where inferior ideas can hide anymore.
A handful of small-minded people making mediocre decisions is often all it takes for a majority of talented and skilled individuals to be thrown into the same second-rate box.
The maddening irony of it all is that this box of middling mediocrity is so strong and sturdy it has become the one thing those handful of dullards and string-pulling bureaucrats have created that has proven to be ridiculously good at being bad.
