For those new here
Many of the posts that I create on Patreon feature links to my website, where the full post can be viewed. If you are a patron on any tier, you can access these posts (unless they are explicitly listed for a certain tier or higher only) but you will be prompted to create a user account on the site.
When you first access any of these posts on my site, there is a button “Unlock with Patreon,” which will create a new user account on my website and link it to your Patreon account.
I do not have access to any Patreon information, the user account creation process simply creates a new user account, and Patreon handles the rest of it. I don’t get any information about that except that it adds whatever First Name and Last Name are in your Patreon account. It does not give me access to any of your Patreon anything on my website, it just lets you use your Patreon to connect to and read Patreon-only posts on my website.
If you have any questions about this, just let me know and I’ll answer them as best I can!
