Peaceful Countries, Strategies and Paradigm Shifts in Cultural Consciousness
Might McDonalds and salsa music pave the way for peaceful relations internationally between countries? Can cultural consciousness and tolerance begin with foreign food and music leading to larger paradigm shifts for peace?
In his 2000 book The Lexus and the Olive Tree, author Thomas Friedman observed that countries that have McDonald’s franchises do not go to war with each other. Although seemingly a fragile (and sometimes tasteless) symbol of economic development, it has been said the presence of McDonald’s franchises has little to do with the country’s hunger for hamburgers and fries, but everything to do with safeguarding its world economic position.
What is occurring here causing the correlation between McDonald's franchises and peaceful countries? Simply (and wonderfully as not every country has such) open markets and mutual respect for diversity.
Obviously not everyone in France cares for American burgers (assuming McDonalds even qualifies as a full-on "American burger" experience). Yet the level of tolerance for multinational commercialism and products gives way to peaceful business practices and societies interacting globally.
A few years later, Christian Science Monitor reporter Scott Baldau observed that the same phenomenon occurs between countries that produce salsa music.
Again we see countries open to other forms of music, dance and cultural expression are more tolerant, respectful and less hostile to oustide influences. Absorbing, assimilating and rejoicing in outside infuences beyond your national borders gives way to a beautiful complimentary merging of cultures, civilizations and eventually gives birth to market globalization.

Sad? Breakthrough for a Broken Heart is Here!
Depression is no fun! I went through a personal ground zero after my ex-wife of 5 years informed me she had an affair. Nevertheless I forgave her, proceeded to get counseling for my soul, moved forward to heal and be made whole. Two months later (since she was unrepentant and wayward in action) I divorced. Thereafter I wrote my book "Breakthrough for a Broken Heart" in which I processed my pain and became wiser and stronger through the ordeal. Today men and women from around the world are being helped and uplifted through my heartfelt message of overcoming adversity and not burying your dreams beneath your disappointments.

Even Jesus always broke the bread before He distributed it to feed the multitudes. Embrace your sorrowful season, but don't eternally defend it, nor purpose to remain there for a lifetime. Receive the unconditional love and comfort of your heavenly Father to lift you up and out of that emotional pit of despair.

Breakthrough and Being Happy - Success Secrets
Breakthrough and being happy is a daily decision. "Break forth into joy and sing..." (Isaiah 52:9). Yet some feel more comfortable living in fear preferring the "spirit of bondage" (Romans 8:15) wherein they can leverage some pity and attract some attention, which for some seems easier than choosing to embrace the "spirit of liberty" and daily living in victory (see 2Corinthians 3:17-18).
Pressing through the whining flesh and lazy logical mind to live in the Spirit of life however is most rewarding, liberating and empowering.

Relationships, Identity, Self-Awareness and Mutual Understanding
Beautiful, classy and pure in heart is a great place to start. Many women however disregard purity, speak with profanity, operate manipulatively and complain profusely.
Some women think relationships are complicated, but in reality they aren't as complicated as they think. Just relinquish control to live and let live!
A bit of self awareness, humility and determination to work for your dreams goes a long way. Men don't like women with a sugar daddy mentality. Such is only cute for so long and eventually backfires causing men to despise you.
Live simply and simply live. Don't be a consumeristic monster always lusting for more. Realize your identity is most secure and sure when you separate who you are from what you possess.
In the consumeristic society in which we live and self-centered world that continually bombards us with media telling us what we "deserve" - we do well to remember who we are and not be seduced into pursuing that which doesn't enhance us personally but just further deepens our debts financially while inwardly leaving us empty.
When you begin to break out of conformity, many won't understand you and will begin to ask questions (after all misery loves company).
Just because others don't understand you however doesn't mean you should feel obligated to explain or second guess yourself.
Make no apologies and be true to yourself.
