Hurt, Guilt, Forgiveness and God's Grace
I recently was asked:
"What to do when you are living in guilt from hurting someone so badly that he decided to hang on himself?"
Forgive and live. Sometimes the hardest person to forgive is yourself. Humbly apologize to the family, seeking their forgiveness and pardon. Thereafter be at peace and let your soul rest (while learning from the past) knowing you have done your best.
The apostle Paul (formerly named Saul before God changed his name and nature) knew the power of forgiveness and God's grace to wipe his slate completely clean. Saul was a murderer, who once he had repented and received God's grace awakened the reality of newness of life in Christ (Acts 7:58-59, 2Corinthians 7:2).
The blood and Spirit of Christ can make the foulest clean and save to the uttermost (Hebrews 7:25; 9:14; 10:14-25), whereby God does not thereafter remember our sins and iniquities any more. "If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1John 1:9).
True spirituality is recognizable in that a person is giving and forgiving. To fully live we must release our emotions, lay our sorrows at the foot of the cross, run into the open loving arms of our heavenly Father, receive God's grace and forgive.

Spirituality, Quantity, Quality and Christ
The American church is enamored with numbers, edifices, programs, dollars and quantity of congregational members. Christ however didn't go forth to reach the world, focusing on his specific calling that being Israel.
Jesus indeed told his disciples to "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel" (Mark 16:15), commissioning them to "seek and save the lost" (Luke 19:10).
Yet Jesus Himself left the 99 to win the 1 lost soul....so it's not always about "how many" ....souls, converts, buildings, etc.
Paul in a prison was writing epistles, which today after he is long gone continue to touch hearts, win souls and change lives.
God's method is men, but ministry can be done through many means and methods.
Edgar Allen Poe died a drunk, not knowing the greatness of his writings that would outlive him and touch the world.
Imagine the saint who led Billy Graham to Christ. It's not always about quantity.

If a 22 year old were to approach me and ask whether he should pursue a graduate degree or begin work after earning his bachelors degree, how would I answer him?
I would first ask the following questions to ascertain more about him.
Where do you live or want to live & work?
What are your career goals? 5 years from now, 10 years from now and over the entirety of your life?
How do you feel after completing your bachelors degree?
Is there anything else you'd like to do with your life besides school and work?

Bally Health Club is Unhealthy, Bad News NOT Total Fitness

When Paul contacted Bally "health" club for a refund of his two lifetime premier memberships when they filed for bankruptcy, shut 2 of the local 4 clubs and began to slack on hygiene Bally "health" club never returned Paul's phone calls or written letters regarding the refund.

Don't do business with an unethical company like Bally "Health" Club because they put the health of their "health club" members behind company profits and disregard members' letters to corporate unless they are putting money in the company (a bad investment which most healthy and intelligent people would never do).
Contact your local city and county health and santitation department and file a claim against Bally "Health" Club in your area where you see uncleanliness, poor hygiene and equipment not being sanitized.
The dirty bathrooms, sauna, filthy carpet and delipatidated lockers falling off the wall at Paul's local Bally "health" club is a disgrace to the city of Orlando and safety hazard.
Paul (a former fitness trainer) saw his local Bally "health" club leave the broken lower back extension machine (without a food pad for bodily stability to secure the lower back) on the floor for several months without warning of it being broken.
Don't risk being injured by poor equipment needing repairs or infected by unsanitary gyms managed by Bally Health Club. Look for a more healthy alternative and place to exercise.
