Diversity Speaker on Diversity Explosion Across America
As a diversity speaker I know a diversity explosion is occurring across America. You don't have to see far beyond your nose to recognize the diversity explosion occurring in our midst.
The racial and ethnic demographic is changing, a power shift is occurring and as a diversity speaker I can affirm society is learning (although some stiff necked folks still are resisting). Unfortunately not everybody is celebrating, nor embracing the diversity explosion. But much good amid this diversity explosion is happening!
Not your typical diversity speaker, I have traveled to 68 countries, lived overseas and also in Queens County, New York (the most diverse county in the United States).
Thus I'm not just a top heavy academic writing about the diversity explosion, nor merely a motivational speaker seeking to milk and make merchandise of the last fad or trend on the speaking circuit.
Truly a diversity speaker, I also studied global affairs at NYU in grad school. Moreover I certainly have experienced a diversity explosion and life-changing interactions on a global scale via my own life.
Before becoming a diversity speaker, I worked at Ground Zero in NYC during 9-11; helped rebuild a home at the tsunami epicenter in Indonesia; comforted victims of genocide in Rwanda; spoke to leaders in East Timor during the war; inspired students and monks in Myanmar; promoted peace and reconciliation in Pakistan; developed leaders deep in the bush of rural Africa where villagers had never before seen a white man; and fed the hungry in impoverished Haiti.
As for the diversity explosion occurring across America, the Brookings Institute reports the new racial demographics are remaking America [http://www.brookings.edu/research/boo...].
As the white populace and baby boomers age, robust growth is occurring among previously classified minority groups. In Orlando, Florida where I was born and live, whites are no longer the majority, but account for about 49% of the populace.
According to William Frey of the Metropolitan Policy Program, 'Hispanic and Asian groups now account for all the growth in the nation’s youth population. As this younger multi-ethnic generation grows up, the nation’s labor force and electorate will be transformed.'
Thus pattern and power shifts are occurring, traditional patterns thereby reversing. The historical migration northward is now heading south.
Ravi Agrawal of CNN reports, nearly half of all new citizens live in the three states of California, Florida, and New York.
Fareed Zakaria, host of CNN's Global Public Square, calls our attention to the fact that '62% of permanent-resident visas in Canada are based on skills;' whereas 'in the U.S. only 13% green cards granted because of talent.'
While this diversity explosion and all of its ramifications in society, the economy and industry are occurring; America is not as much of a “melting pot" in some parts of the country.
Racism, division, a white supremacy mentality and bigotry still exist in states nowhere near salt-water (oceans and the Gulf of Mexico) and still among a few people in racially diverse cities and communities.
A diversity explosion does not do away with racism, but it does force and compel a greater degree of cross-cultural understanding and multi-ethnic awareness to sustain your business and standing in politics and community.
Ironically in the future, some racist whites now aging may find the very people they used to hate caring for them in the health care industry, nursing homes and in ways they never before did foresee.
Thus as a diversity speaker I educate, awake, and reconcile people so they can love unconditionally, celebrate diversity, embrace the uniqueness of individuality and humanity, and ultimately be a better human being capable of better connecting and working with others to build a legacy.
The diversity explosion revolutionizing our country is here. If you are still living with your head in the sand, take a look in the White House and see that it has finally got some color in it.
Again the diversity explosion is here, are you ready to embrace, ride and enjoy it or will you be made irrelevant by it? Either way, the diversity explosion is here to stay.

Feel Alone, Need a Friend, Overwhelmed by Life - Turn to God
Feel alone, need a friend, overwhelmed by life? Turn to God!
God is a friend that sticks closer to you than a brother. By the power of the Holy Spirit, heaven's long-distance telephone operator, you can not just pray but hear from heaven everyday. God's love letter, the Bible, contains innumerable words of love, wisdom and power to strengthen you daily.
So the next time you feel alone, need a friend, and are overwhelmed by life look up to heaven where you help comes from.
I'm a Christian myself and when I feel alone, need a friend, somebody who understands me, and am utterly overwhelmed by life I call upon Christ Jesus, praying to God the Father in Jesus' Name for divine intervention and help to alter difficult situations.
So if you feel alone right now, need a friend, or are overwhelmed by life, pray with me now saying outloud right where you are:
"Jesus, thank you for coming to earth to die for me and the sins of humanity. I believe you rose victorious over death, hell and the grave. Please forgive me of my sins and come to live within my heart by the power of the Holy Spirit that rose You from the dead and lifted you to heaven. Love, comfort and lift up my life to where I belong and help me fulfill my purpose and destiny for your glory! I need, love and welcome you into my life right now!"

TD Bank Legendary Lies and Florida Mall Hotel ATM Fraud, CSR Alert
TD bank legendary lies and the Florida mall ATM fraud fiasco continues! On June 19th, 2012 I phoned TD bank, spoke to Angel and Ebony, the latter of which advised me to call TD bank's supervisor who ran the failed investigation, Mr. Sean Cusack at 856-533-6910.
LOL TD bank asked me to call a number they never intended to answer, because "network difficulties" showed up on the automated pick up when I tried to phone it. Giving TD bank the benefit of the doubt, I called my own number to see if may be my phone provider with network difficulties. No! My phone works. It is TD bank that doesn't and allows consumer fraud of its customers without providing ample evidence, a copy of the Florida Mall Hotel video, or anything else to justify its deceit and defrauding customers of their hard earned money.
TD bank greatly lied to and disappointed me after a long ordeal to recuperate $20 I was shorted when withdrawing $200 at the ATM at the Florida Mall Hotel in Orlando, FL (a.k.a. THE FLORIDA HOTEL AND CONFERENCE CENTER at The Florida Mall).
Why would I go to the Florida Mall Hotel to use the ATM machine when I live in Orlando and could go to TD bank directly?
Because the Armani Store's credit card machine and connection was down, I did something I usually don't do - take money out of an ATM other than my bank's ATM machine. I usually go to TD bank or Publix to withdraw small amounts of petty cash.
TD Bank offers its customers who hold a balance above $2,500 (which I have for quite some time) free ATM use anywhere in the world, even promising to reverse the fees charged at places like the Florida mall hotel (where I was charged $3 to use an ATM that shorted me $20).
When I minutes after the attempt to withdraw funds from the ATM told the Florida mall hotel manager, I was advised to phone the company in charge of the ATM. Thus the Florida mall hotel management takes no responsibility, nor interest in the fraud and ripping off of its guests occurring on its premises.
Be forewarned if you are staying at the Florida Mall Hotel, visiting the Florida Mall, or having a wedding at the Florida Mall Hotel (as my cousin and his wife had their wedding reception there) BEWARE of the ATM machine and poor management at the Florida Mall Hotel who don't care if you get ripped off and short-changed.
It kind of makes me wonder if the Florida Mall Hotel is in on the racket and ATM scheme considering how nonchalant their management is about it.
TD Bank wrote me the next day on April 25, 2012 (noted below) after I filed the complaint (April 24, 2012), assuring me that within 10 business days a decision would be made after a thorough investigation.
TD Bank credited me on May 3, 2012 after a thorough investigation regarding the theft occurring at the Florida mall hotel ATM, TD bank finding in my favor and replenishing my account the $20.
However on June 4, 2012 TD bank reversed the refund and took back the $20 they originally refunded me from the thievery that occurred at the Florida Mall Hotel ATM machine.
TD Bank decided in my favor and refunded the $20. Today however (June 9, 2012) I received a letter from TD Bank dated June 4, 2012 stating that TD Bank changed their mind and is now debiting my account $20 because the Florida Mall Hotel ATM sketchy company that caused all of this drama and stole my $20 claims an error did not occur.
It's amazing that companies the size of TD Bank and the Florida Mall Hotel can be so schizophrenic after a thorough investigation that originally sided with my complaint and refunded the $20.
Let's not kid ourselves, TD bank is in business to make money, which if it gets caught in the middle with outside ATM machines and companies (and cannot retrieve stolen monies for its customers) TD bank is not going to take the slack and refund the money (at its own expense - as that wouldn't be a good business decision for TD Bank).
Unless TD bank customers started to complain that TD bank was not using leverage and banking authority as authorized and regulated by law to protects its banking customers.
Likewise consumer fraud is not taken lightly, nor does it go over well in society. Thus Florida Mall Hotel and TD Bank will pay far more for not coughing up the $20 being stole from ATM users (by whatever ATM machines and the companies managing them they allow - and like partner in profit from the use of) when a class action lawsuit comes forth.
Enough repeated fraudulent behavior and customers will make some noise, complain, file police reports, take to the media, join forces and confront the forces of evil.
Take notice TD bank and Florida Mall Hotel we the people will not be defrauded, will not be silent and will see that justice is brought to bear and punitive damages rewarded for all corporate malfeasance and wrongdoing.
My initial correspondence with TD bank regarding my experience being shorted $20 at the Florida Mall Hotel is documented in full as I submitted it on April 24, 2012 via the TD Bank website.

Whenever I begin to hear the wide array of hypothetical scenarios and find myself being pulled in conversation into the maybe game, I employ a life coaching technique called exaggeration.
I respond by taking the maybe game and unhappy hypothetical possibilities to the next level by saying, "Maybe you will get hit by a bus today. Maybe you have ants in your pants. Maybe you won't get the job or will get fired because you have a booger in your nose."
Usually the what ifs and fear within a person shortly after these type of remarks is jarred and silenced, often overcome by laughter as to the extent of the foolishness they have succumb to by allowing themselves to conjure up the worst possible "what if" and unhappy hypothetical scenarios in their maybe game.
On and on the unhappy hypothetical and maybe game goes! What if scenarios are emotionally exhausting and mentally draining.
Don't play the maybe game, nor participate in mental masturbation. Silence the unhappy hypothetical what if scenarios that arise in your mind or are unpleasantly spoken of excessively by others.
Keep a positive attitude, childlike faith, pinpoint your passion, lock into your purpose and go for it happily and boldly throwing caution to the wind!
