Supernatural vs. Spectacular - Spiritual Sensitivity

The supernatural occurs everyday more than we realize, if we will but cultivate spiritual sensitivity.

Deep within our spiritual DNA within compels us to search for significance and connect with spiritual occurrences.

Truly the Creator has put eternity in the hearts of men, which when we acknowledge and reconnect with the Lord of life, the supernatural can become a beautiful part of our everyday lives.

Too often we miss the supernatural, while looking for the odd and spectacular. The God of love above can move supernaturally by beginning within us via a gentle whisper if will but listen and yield to His inner workings.

Cultivate spiritual sensitivity daily through prayer, communion with the Holy Spirit, meditation, reading the Bible and putting feet to your faith being a doer of God's Word.

Video Platforms - Video Sales - Any Advice for Easy Video Platforms?

Learning about video platforms and video sales is something new to me. Video sales would be wonderful if I could find some video platforms that allow owners of video content to simply upload and sell the downloads.

Amazon's Create Space at the moment requires that I ship all my DVDs to them and label with specificity (preferably adding some cover imagery).

Surely there must be some faster video platforms out there to support and facilitate video sales.

Goodreads supports these video platforms allowing them to be embedded:

Blip.tv
Livestream.com

I have over 700 videos on YouTube.com/greatawakening but have not yet found an ideal video platform to enable fast and easy video sales.

Granted I have not fully investigated and reviewed these video platforms mentioned above to facilitate video sales. If you have, please comment below and make a suggestion / recommendation mentioning if I can freely upload online without having to be burdened with shipping DVDs in the old school method of video sales.

I welcome your comments and advice pertaining to video platforms and video sales as long as they are informational and not promotional adverts.

Renren - Facebook of China - A worthy investment?

Renren, sometimes called the Facebook of China is the country's top social-networking site. Renren (RENN) recently went public on the NYSE after being touted by some to be the Facebook of China.

Like many Renren benefits from the China phenomenon and mystic. Plus Renren has some online prominence in the digital age of marketing in an economy that finances that U.S. government amid a global panic and economic meltdown.

Renren therefore holds some credibility and a special place as the Facebook of China and likely Asia as much as the Oriental nations can read and write Mandarin (which is not often the case). English is more widely written and spoken throughout the world than Mandarin. Nevertheless if you want to reach and have a presence in China on the Facebook of China, the social media site may benefit you a bit. However if you are unable to read and write Mandarin, how much influence can you really have on Renren being unable to make daily posts, update your account and respond to inquiries?

If you think Renren is an appealing social-networking site, perhaps with the help of a Chinese secretary you an leverage Renren to help your company build its brand in China.

Reren stock took off on its first day of trading, jumping from $14 to as high as $21.50. Is this just the beginning for Renren, the facebook of China? We shall see in time.

The officiant fee is $375 + $100 extra if a rehearsal is needed the day / night before.

Prepayment is required because I get speaking engagements worldwide so to "save the date" on my calendar my secretary Suzy does it this way since I earn 5 times more on speaking engagements than weddings.

I also provide premarital counseling (4 sessions at $75 each - a huge discount from my usual $350/hr) which the couple I married yesterday did ....great experience ....and the county usually gives you a discount on your marriage license when you do the 4 hours of premarital counseling also.

I only officiate a couple weddings a year, but it's always fun and I personalize each ceremony incorporating the relational history of the couple to make it intimate and special.

I do weddings wherever and however the couple wants (Christ centered) but allowing the couple to be creative and be the focus not formalities.

Unappreciated Minister - Minister Needing Money

If you feel like an unappreciated minister or are a minister needing money to survive daily, I understand how you feel.

I have been one who felt like an unappreciated minister and was a young minister needing money when living and ministering in Africa, India and the uttermost parts of Asia.

As someone who has lived and ministered overseas in impoverished nations where I truly was "used" by others as I served God, I can fully relate. I also hate begging for money and it's not my style to do so.

I don't have a problem sending out a ministry newsletter and requesting support, but not relentlessly as I believe in allowing the Holy Spirit of God to speak to His people.

The apostle Paul was a tent maker, having a job to sustain himself ministerially - a good rule to follow when you find yourself struggling financially.

Many ministers are lazy and do little during the week besides wait for Sunday to preach. Come on! Sure you can do more than read the Bible, pray and preach.

Stop comparing yourself and desiring to be a famous TV evangelist. Be real. Get a job! Work if necessary to sustain yourself and family.

I taught English overseas part-time as a foreign language. Replace your anxiety with creativity and let the Holy Spirit lead and guide you monetarily. He will if you allow Him to!

Nevertheless unappreciated minister and minister needing money - always remember to be a bridge to connect the lost to Christ, we have to be willing to be walked over.
