INSPIRATION

Today's guest is the author Rowena Sudbury who talks about the 'spark' of inspiration and how she weaves it into her fiction :).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
About me: Rowena Sudbury lives in southern California with her husband, son, and their wonderful rescue dog. Her love of reading was born in the fifth grade, and she began writing soon after that. Writing has always been her passion and escape from the real world.
Rowena finds herself thinking through the minds of her characters...
IT'S ONLY ROCK 'N' ROLL...
Today I'm lucky enough to have double guests! Lori Toland joins us to talk about her new book out on February 1st and the influences on her writing.
First I have to say Happy Birthday Clare! And it's an honor to be part of your celebration! My first novel comes out February 1st and I'm very excited.
My Profile: CEO by day, manlove writer by night, Lori Toland somehow finds time to play video games and watch movies while taking care of her cats and husband.
Spoiled Milk, Ice, Writing, Editors, Bad Hair, Oh and Free Fiction!
Today's guest is Angela S. Stone, who's going to tell us about her rather stressful day, her exciting writing projects - and the voices in her head :). I suspect many of us will admit to some or ALL of those issues...
My Blurb: Angela S. Stone is a twenty-something (almost) nurse and wannabe writer living in central Canada. She says that she literally grew up "around a kitchen table". Food, friends, family and good times all played a huge part in her childhood. She has been writing for as...
IS DR. FELL A GARY SUE?
Today's guest is author Syd McGinley, published mainly by Torquere Press but also Lyrical Press, which is where I read the astonishing and fascinating 'What Worse Place Can I Beg in your Love' . But Syd is probably mainly known for the marvellous Dr. John Fell series of stories - as readers, we meet him when he's helping out his Dom friends with their troublesome boys, but gradually we're allowed to share in his own struggles, desires, and emotional needs. I came late to this series - everyo...
BRINGING HOME THE BACON
Today's guest is the author Jordan Castillo Price, one of my personal autobuys *clare has a quiet but enthusiastic fangirl moment*. She also maintains her own Yahoo Group , Newsletter and an excellent regular podcast on writing erotica Packing Heat . Not quite sure when she finds the time to write, but hey :).
Her blurb: Jordan Castillo Price grew up in Western New York, spent her formative drinking years in inner city Chicago, and is now writing paranormal thrillers from her home in...
THE END. OR IS IT?
Today's guest is the author Dakota Flint whose novella Seeing You is out in e-book THIS WEEK at Samhain. I first 'met' Dakota when we shared the sheets in the Taste Test: Horns and Halos at Torquere Press. I loved her writing, said so, and we've bumped happily into each other at many places since :).
Her Blurb: Dakota Flint currently lives in northern Siberia Michigan and is working on her law degree. An average day for her consists of reading about things like negligence or homicide...
INTERVENTION NEEDED?
Today's guest is author Jenna Hilary Sinclair, who has been writing since 1991, and whose first published novel Admit One was placed on many readers' 'Best Of 2009' lists. She has several other short stories and novellas published at Dreamspinner Press . I 'met' Jenna as a fellow Dreamspinner author, I was delighted by her story in the 2008 Advent Calendar Gifts of the Season , wrote to her to say so and we've been in touch ever since.
Today's she's talking about her particular addiction - to ...
WHO AM I...AND AM I OKAY WITH THAT?
Today's guest is the author Wren Boudreau whose first novel Ice Cream on the Side has just been released. Today she talks about finding herself - and the fun of fascination of the results! :).
Her Blurb: Wren Boudreau likes to think she's wild and bohemian, a charismatic character who sees magic everywhere. The reality is that Wren Boudreau is quite ordinary, an introvert who prefers nesting in the warm comfort of her home and going on great adventures in her head. In her youth, she played...
THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF SUB-GENRES
Today's guest is the author Cassandra Gold, sharing with us her latest fiction and also her 'history' as a reader :).
Her Bio: By day, Cassandra is a relatively mild-mannered middle school teacher. At night and on weekends, she transforms into a neurotic, scatterbrained author who spends most of her time writing about men falling in love. She also enjoys reading, writing, and spending way too much time on the internet.
