LJ somehow has changed some links, and Elisa has not been getting her associate fees. She uses these fees to buy new books from new authors, to review and then post her reviews in her blog here on LJ.

ORIGINAL FICTION IN A 1000 WORDS

The annual challenge has just finished over at picfor1000 , where a huge number and variety of authors sign up to write a story that's EXACTLY 1,000 words, inspired - however loosely or precisely - by the picture they're issued. I've taken part for a few years now. I just missed the deadline of Feb 28 by a day, but I've posted it anyway, hope they don't mind.
