DIE!DIE!DIE! Drops at a Comic Shop Near You Wednesday!
SURPRISE!SURPRISE!SURPRISE!
Tomorrow, Skybound is releasing TWO new comics. One, OUTPOST ZERO by Sean Kelley McKeever, Alexandre Tefenkgi & Jean-Francois Beaulieu, is a wonderful YA sci-fi series about the smallest town in the universe. We’ve been talking about it for months, the first issue is DOUBLE-SIZED. Please check it out.
The OTHER comic is DIE!DIE!DIE! which we just started telling people about today. The SAME day it’s available to buy IN STORES and ONLINE. Why? Because we love surprises and we want you to be surprised and be able to buy a brand new comic that hasn’t been overhyped and spoiled. Also, we’re crazy. We won’t even argue with that!
DIE!DIE!DIE! was created by Robert Kirkman (who already launched his new series OBLIVION SONG with Lorenzo De Felici just five months ago), Scott M. Gimple (grand puba of AMC’s TWD series) and Chris Burnham (Office Downe, Nameless, that Batman guy).
What’s it about? That’s one surprise I’d like for you to discover for yourself. Like… right now. Go. While there are still copies left.

Editor-in-Chief
DIE!DIE!DIE! #1
STORY: ROBERT KIRKMAN & SCOTT M. GIMPLE
ART/COVER: CHRIS BURNHAM & NATHAN FAIRBAIRN
JULY 11
28 PAGES | Full Color | Mature | $3.99
We don’t like to admit it, but this is an evil world where evil people do evil stuff all the time. Thankfully, there is a secret cabal with the United States government that works outside our normal system to influence world matters through targeted assassination. The world around us is manipulated right under our noses, mostly for the better… sometimes for individual gain.
So if you’re hurting people, somehow making the world worse than it already is, or even just standing in the way of something good happening… someone could right now be giving the order for you to…
DIE!DIE!DIE!
DIE!DIE!DIE! Launch Rocks Industry Headlines
PORTLAND, OR, 7/10/2018 — In a shocking move, Image/Skybound Entertainment dropped the first issue of an all-new series by comics titans Robert Kirkman (THE WALKING DEAD, OUTCAST BY KIRKMAN & AZACETA, OBLIVION SONG), Scott M. Gimple (Punisher: Nightmare, writer and producer for The Walking Dead TV adaptation on AMC), and Chris Burnham (Batman Incorporated, NAMELESS, NIXON’S PALS, OFFICER DOWNE), with colors by Nathan Fairbairn and lettering by Rus Wooton, titled DIE!DIE!DIE! which will be available for sale tomorrow.
“That’s right, in stores TOMORROW! We want to make going to a comic shop exciting again—a place for discovery! The internet has drained all surprise and anticipation from comics. Everyone hears about exciting new projects and then has to wait months or years for it to be in their hands… and half the time at the end of that buildup, the stories get spoiled in some lame attempt at getting wider media attention,” Kirkman dissed. “So, surprise! Here’s a new monthly series. How cool is that?! This is literally the only way I can be like Beyoncé.”
Gimple added: “I spend most of my time working in TV, the big Walking Dead programs keep me plenty busy, but I’ve had a burning passion for comics since I was nine. I used to go to panels to see Robert Kirkman talk. And now he’s writing quotes in a press release as me that I can read over and tweak!”
DIE!DIE!DIE! promises to be a blood-soaked, no holds barred, action-packed, irreverent story that fans won’t be able to rip their eyes from. We live in an evil world where evil people do evil stuff all the time and DIE!DIE!DIE! lifts the veil on a secret cabal within the United States government that influences world matters through targeted assassination. The world around us is manipulated right under our noses, mostly for the better… but sometimes for individual gain, and sometimes for the fun of it.
“We cooked up all sorts of great action sequences and horrific gross-out gags for this book,” said Burnham. “Maybe we should have called it Puke!Puke!Puke!”
So if you’re hurting people, somehow making the world worse than it already is, or even just standing in the way of something good happening… someone could right now be giving the order for you to…
DIE!DIE!DIE! DIE!DIE!DIE! #1 is available in stores tomorrow. Don’t miss it!

Announcing MURDER FALCON!
MURDER. FALCON.
Daniel Warren Johnson is quickly becoming one of the most important creators of his generation. As one extremely exuberant Image founder has said, Dan’s bringing the energy of early 90s Image back to comics.
The Eisner nominated EXTREMITY was one of last year’s best comics—you don’t have to just take my word for it, it made lots of year-end Best Of lists. (There are two trades currently available. You won’t regret purchasing them.)
Now Dan’s returned to write and draw your new favorite comic: MURDER FALCON. And he’s joined by the rest of Team EXTREMITY, colorist Mike Spicer and letterer Rus Wooton. This comic combines metal and kung fu and monsters, and a guy named Jake who will help Murder Falcon save the world by shredding up a storm.
The first issue hits stores October 10th. Please enjoy these preview pages, that will no doubt result in you doing a quick fist pump of Awesomeness. If you want to guarantee your copy, please preorder with your local comic shop retailer.
To recap:
Is MURDER FALCON fun? Hell yeah.
Moving? Yeah, you might cry.
Intense? Absolutely. But don’t worry—
Murf ONLY murders MONSTERS.
