BASILISK Launch Party Video: "Flying Off the Handle"
Be sure to watch all the way to the end, even after the short credits sequence… there is an epilogue you will not want to miss – much like the actual book!
BASILISK Launch Party: Meet the REAL Ariel
May I present to you THE Ariel from BASILISK. Literally – in real life and in costume.
This is Ariel V., a long-time super-fan of Rob's. The character "Ariel" in BASILISK is indeed named after this amazing lady… lucky, lucky Reaver!

BASILISK Launch Party: Goodreads Reaver Review
The second book in the Chimera series is just as fast paced and interesting as the first one. This time around we get Misha's perspective on the situation and he's really grown in the three years since the end of Chimera; at least he's certain he has. The big bad of the book (The Institute and its 'children') are as creepy as ever and the action se
quences are fantastic. My favorite aspect of the book is the interaction between the brothers Stefan and Misha as Misha comes to realizes that maybe he doesn't have everything figured out after all. Add some good old fashioned snark and a dash of the science fiction and Basilisk has been my favorite read of the year.

BASILISK Launch Party Fan Art: "Poor Stoipah" by PocketClock
Created by PocketClock on Deviant Art. Her comments:
Misha being an asshole, as per usual. Stoipah at his wits end. Godzilla, ready to die. Struggled to put this together for a certain cruel contest of Rob Thurman's. Basilisk is out now. GO READ IT! D8

"Poor Stoipah" by Melanie F. aka PocketClock on Deviant Art
Gotta love how Misha's catch phrase, "Theoretically" is on his t-shirt, and how Melanie managed to get a Cal DOUBLETAKE billboard in there! Those attention to details = stroke of comedic genius.
And why yes… yes, we are cruel for making you all work for your prizes and Cal #7 DOUBLETAKE sneak preview, eh?
*evil giggles*
But you Reavers have REALLY been making Rob and I beam with joy and pride – what a great party it's been so far! I hope everyone is having as much fun as we have been.

My Bengal cat [Kylar] channeling his inner demon and he has a much better death glare than I do. Also purchased Basilisk on Friday. Thanks for writing fabulous books.

BASILISK Launch Party: Munching Like Misha
From Afreen A: Here's my Basilisk photo with dozens of snacks in the background, kinda reminds me of Michael and his bottomless stomach. Thank you so much for writing such an awesome book, it's almost 2am and I still can't put the book down.
Glad you're loving the book, Afreen! Just keep half an eye on your snack stash, or else some junk food junkie [hot] mutant and his thieving ferret accomplice may steal it all from you!
Here's Afreen's BASILISK "Killing Look," too.
Watch out, Misha!
