A product is often a complex combination of several products and services. Some you create yourself, some are created by others. Youre responsible for the whole lot, even if theyre not all directly in your control.

Thanks for your question. I would say the difference is primarily one of specialisation. A product manager is a generalist working with a team of specialists to research, create and take a product to market.
