Today's Adventure in Parenting
So, today Don calls me from the living room; a mommy emergency. I go in there. Isabella has gum stuck up her nose.
Me: "You stuck gum up your nose?"
Izzy: "No, it went up through the hole in my mouth."
Don: "You don't have a hole in your mouth anymore."
Well, yes, she does. A small one, right on her gumline, which they'll repair with a bone graft from her hip when she's a few years older. And, yes, gum was up in there, tucked waaaaay back in a hole behind her one crooked tooth that grows ...

Sorry for the delay. I was preoccupied building an ark. Seriously, folks, it's RAINING here! Wet stuff, falling out of the sky! So much our pool actually overflowed! (And more relevant to the podcast, the internet slowed to a snails pace and the episode wouldn't load to save my life–and then I couldn't manage to get Feedburning to update the feed. Ah, Technology). But it's up now!

For the record, I'm irritated with the BlogPress iPhone App! I had a loooooong post drafted, and then saved it, and when I went back into the app, it was gone! poof! Gone!!!! So if this post isn't as funny or as informative as you'd like, well, the first one was. Truly.
(other iPhone griping, although I seem to consistently have all 5 bars of service, 80% of the time, the signal is E – emerg calls only, though texts and emails work…usually — hello? It's ATLANTA. I can SEE the freaking A...
