A brunette smiled seductively, "That's quite a boast."
"I'm quite a man.”
Donna Grant, Darkest Flame: Part 3

“Forgive our gawking,” said a man with a vicious scar running down his face. “Galen is usually eating so much he has no time for speech.”

Laughter filled the hall, and Reaghan glanced over to find Galen shaking his head as he smiled.

“Eating?” she asked.

“Doona pay Malcolm a bit of attention,” Galen said, his gaze indifferent and his voice heavy with nonchalance. “He lies.”
Donna Grant, Shadow Highlander

“She leaned a shoulder against the tunnel wall and thought of Kellan. A Dragon King. A dragon and a King.
A gorgeous man who kissed as if there were no tomorrow and made love skillfully, adeptly. He could have let her die. Instead, he took her on a journey that opened her eyes to an entirely new world both beautiful and frightening.”

Janice I hope you weren't affected by that flooding around Houston. I'd heard that the highways area Houston were often prone to flooding. I have yet to visit Beaumont, Texas, or traveled to Louisiana, But since I used to have a Cajun family friend --A wonderful cook-- I've grown to love Cajun food, and that beautiful Cajun and Zydeco music. I've often enjoyed reading about the Cajuns, as well as their Acadian ancestors.
