“Frozen” gets it right

I don’t think I’ve EVER written about a Disney movie on this blog… but I’m about to do it now. I was talked into seeing this movie by a cartoonist pal of mine. I had no previous interest in seeing in for several reasons… 1. It’s a Disney movie (You’ve gotta admit, they’ve become pretty formulaic), 2. It’s a musical (I really don’t do musicals) and 3. It struck me as just another “princess” movie and finally, 4. I expected the snowman character to be annoyingly predictable and slap stick.

That’s an easy way to lose a donut!

If you have small dogs in the house (or maybe even big dogs), then you know it’s never a good idea to become so engrossed in what you’re doing that you leave snacks unattended.

I was visiting my brother once in Louisiana and he and I were watching some 80s sci fi classic on a Sunday morning. I left my coffee unattended for two minutes. AND my parting words to my brother were “Hey, will you watch my coffee?” Because his little rat terrier was a serious coffee drinker.
