RIP AMY WINEHOUSE
Earlier today I tweeted this:
And beyond the tragedy of the loss of this life, looms the terrifying reminder of how many brilliant and talented other musicians we've lost, coincidentally at the age of 27.
This notion struck me years ago and was a big part of my first book, "Stupid and Contagious." I even had a section of my website dedicated to those artists in this very tragic "club."
I am so saddened to know that I will now have to add Amy Winehouse to this page.
Artist or not, famous or not, addiction doesn't discriminate. But it is something that CAN be helped if you are willing. Please don't ever be afraid to ask for help if you need it.
