It arrives in multiple configurations such as Digital Deluxe, ATMOS, and various exclusive Vinyl variants. The Vinyl pressings include 1LP Blue Swirl Color Vinyl, 1LP Zoetrope Vinyl, and 2LP Magenta Swirl Color Vinyl with a special alternate cover plus an insert of the original cover.

As such, she proudly presents the definitive version of her pop opus now.
Jepsen originally released E•MO•TION on June 24, 2015. Upon arrival, it crashed the Top 10 of the Top Albums Chart in Canada and the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Among a bevy of fan-favorite anthems, this body of work comprises her Platinum-certified single “I Really Like You,” “Run Away With Me,” “Your Type,” and many more. E*MO*TION earned a host of rave reviews with several outlets - including TIME, Entertainment Weekly, Pitchfork, People, Stereogum, Vulture, and Complex - declaring it the pop album of 2015.
However, E•MO•TION’s influence has only continued to magnify throughout the last decade, emerging as a high watermark of 21st-century pop music.
Thus far, the record has surpassed 1 billion streams and counting. Pitchfork hailed it among “The 200 Best Albums of the 2010s,” describing it as “a certified cult hit – relatable in the way that a really good rom-com is, and just as rare.” On “The 100 Greatest Albums of the 2010s,” Billboard christened it “a filler-free dance-pop classic in a decade woefully short on them.” Touted as one of “The 100 Best Albums of the 2010s,” Rolling Stone affirmed, “E•MO•TION opened up a whole new world of possibility and reintroduced her as a gleeful pop superfan who can make infectious tunes that pay tribute to the genre itself.” Paste placed it at #1 on “The 30 Best Pop Albums of the 2010s,” proceeding to claim, “If a Disney princess made a record after being dumped, this masterpiece would be it.”
Last night, August 19, 2025, Carly Rae Jepsen kicked off the 10th anniversary celebration of E•MO•TION with a sold-out, intimate show at The Troubadour in Los Angeles, the venue where Jepsen first performed songs from E•MO•TION in 2015. Jepsen broke the venue’s record last month when over 100,000 fans were in the queue to try and get into the 500-capacity room for the anniversary show.
Experience E•MO•TION like never before in 2025.

PÔT-POT share new single "22° Halo" from debut album 'Warsaw 480km', out on Sept 19 via felte.
INTRODUCING:
PÔT-POT- Drop new single "22° Halo"
- Debut album 'Warsaw 480km'
- Out September 19th on Felte

Today, pôt-pot share another glimpse at their forthcoming debut album, ‘ Warsaw 480km’ , with new single "22° Halo". The album is set for release on September 19th via Felte.
On 'Warsaw 480km' , the quintet infuse the propulsive grooves of krautrock with a phosphorescent psych-rock radiance, all underscored by harmonium drones, hypnotic male-female vocal harmonies, and deep layers of rough-hewn texture. Evolved primarily from demos by multi-instrumentalist and lead vocalist Mark Waldron-Hyden during a period of grief and personal upheaval, the album came to life through a series of live, full-band studio sessions that document an exceptional array of talents, unified in an embrace of raw catharsis with a sweetly sinister edge.
Today's single, “22° Halo”, opens the record at a driving pace, elevated by searing amplifier tone and breathy, overdriven vocal harmonies from Waldron-Hyden, Sara Leslie, and Elaine Malone that seem to coo directly in your ear, at once intimate and detached. A narcotic haze develops beneath the taut drums and sinewy foreground, as dueling guitars threaten to erupt into frenzy but relent as the final seconds fade into fog.
Commenting on the track, Waldon-Hyden says: "I’m fascinated in seemingly endless cycles in nature, and how I can relate that back to myself. At that time, I was repeating habits/cycles that weren’t very good for me, and this song was just a way of me admitting to myself what I was afraid to say out loud: I was doing/thinking/saying things I shouldn’t be and it needed to change. The music came from a jam between the band and grew from there. The night I finalised the lyrics we were walking home from a session and a 22° halo was shining in the sky, it was my first time ever seeing one."

A defining element of 'Warsaw 480km' is its impressive range of influences and atmospheric topographies. As Waldron-Hyden describes, “I wrote the first batch of songs while not really living in one place, so I think they have a kind of transient feel to them – developing them with the band helped me process an era in which I was emotionally freewheeling, so they remind me equally of the beautiful experience we shared as a creative unit and the difficult times that inspired them.” Lead single, “WRSW”, exemplifies this complexity, as its rugged rhythmic backbone carries tremolo guitars, woozy harmonium, and a half-spoken, Lou Reed-indebted vocal line in which the verse and chorus beautifully blur together.
Above all, 'Warsaw 480km' is an album that achieves its richness and aura from deliberate economy, as Waldron-Hyden explains, “Ollie [Oliver Smith] and Sara [Sara Leslie] are experts at getting the most out of one pedal, a shitty amp, and a guitar they borrowed, a result of innate talent and years of experience; they use some modulation for dronier passages, but it’s their playing styles and understanding of ‘the vibe’ that are the secret ingredients.” This kind of intuitive connection and collaboration is incredibly rare, and with these ten pieces, pôt-pot accomplish something truly rapturous as they alchemise deep pain into a luminous reverie.

Rocket by Tanner Deutsch
Early Praise for Rocket:
"Rocket make soaring, anthemic alt-rock with a classic feel, picking up a torch from veteran acts like Dinosaur Jr....a band that’s ready to take it to the next level" - Rolling Stone
“nods to ’90s indie rock staples..blissfully detached dream-pop..hard-hitting numbers..Rocket have built themselves a solid launching pad” - Stereogum ‘Best New Artists of 2024’
"It's rare to find a band so fully developed without an album out.. they're certainly not lacking in the songwriting department” - Consequence ‘Artists to Watch in 2025’
"The debut EP from LA quartet Rocket absolutely soars... the band combines a laid-back California charm with biting lyricism and tight, synergetic compositions. If Sonic Youth made pop chart-friendly hits, you’d have Rocket. We need 100 more of these songs."- Paste Magazine
"The harmonies glide, whereas the riffy, daydreamy guitars build to a glorious climax in the back half, reminiscent of Sonic Youth and Momma" - Alternative Press ‘Rising Artists to Know’
“this underground band are making big, open-hearted anthems for a new generation to rally around” - NME ‘Cover Story’
"the alt-rock quartet’s debut EP offers catchy, yearning ballads that evoke nostalgia for adolescent frustrations” - Document Journal
"a guitar-heavy alt-rock radio ripper. Alithea Tuttle’s vocals float atop the shredding guitars and fill-heavy drums, giving the song some nice dynamism" - FLOOD Magazine on “Wide Awake”
Los Angeles, CA’s Rocket recently announced their highly anticipated debut album, R is for Rocket, due out Oct 3rd via Transgressive Records / Canvasback. Today, they’ve shared the album’s second single, the euphoric and sparkling “Act Like Your Title.” The song “delves into familial relationships and generational traumas,” shares vocalist and bassist Alithea Tuttle, “It’s wishing someone would live up to the standards that are set for them but knowing that they will never ‘act like their title.’ Holding out hope that someone will change, especially family, is such a difficult concept and can feel so isolating.”
The band announced the album last month with the head turning “Wide Awake,” which arrives alongside an in-depth Rolling Stone profile, and support from Alt Press, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, FLOOD Magazine, Paste Magazine, Consequence and many more.
Comprised of Tuttle (vocals, bass), Baron Rinzler (Guitar), Cooper Ladomade (Drums) and Desi Scaglione (Guitar), Rocket have had a busy few years. The Los Angeles crew with friendships stretching back to their childhood formed in 2021, convening in an unmarked shed to put their debut EP to tape. Despite it being the first time any of them had seriously approached the idea of a ‘band,’ they seemed to arrive fully formed with combustible, airtight songs.
R is for Rocket, the quartet’s remarkable debut album, is a joyride through sonic terrain that is gloriously loud, anthemic, bombastic and beautiful, with instantly captivating songs that achieve the rare feat of evoking nostalgia while sounding completely new. The band’s jagged, fuzzed-out sound has antecedents in ‘90s guitar bands like Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine, but Rocket are doing something uniquely their own with those touchstones. It’s no wonder they are widely considered one of the most promising guitar-forward bands of their generation.
While the album builds on the energy of their critically lauded Versions of You EP, R is for Rocket is also hugely evolutionary, elevating the band’s craft in major ways. By the time they began work on the album in early 2024, they’d been on a near constant touring schedule, spending countless hours on the road opening for their heroes Ride, Sunny Day Real Estate and Silversun Pickups, and writing in their modest studio – a back house in drummer Cooper Ladomade’s parents’ yard – both refining and expanding their sound.
This Fall, Rocket will embark on their debut US headline tour, kicking off in October after having wrapped international festival appearances and a UK run supporting Smashing Pumpkins this Summer. Tickets on sale HERE.

Rocket’s 2023 debut EP was praised by Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Stereogum, Brooklyn Vegan, Paste, and Consequence, among others, and landed the band their first cover story at NME. The forward momentum put the band on the road for most of 2024, opening for iconic bands like The Pixies’ Frank Black, Ride, Sunny Day Real Estate, Silversun Pickups, and peers including Julie, Bar Italia, Hotline TNT & more. The band appeared on festival stages around the world, including Way Out West, Greenman Festival, Pitchfork London & Paris, Bumbershoot, Best Friends Forever, and many more.
The quartet have been slowly releasing their first new music since the 2023 EP this year, sharing album cuts “Crossing Fingers” & “One Million,” before formerly announcing the album with the jagged, fuzzed-out “Wide Awake.” The standalone single “Take Your Aim” was written shortly after the release of their debut EP, and will appear on the tracklist of the newly reissued EP, available on vinyl & CD for the first time.

“All of the touring led to the songs changing for the better,” says Tuttle, “because we got to play them for so many different kinds of audiences and hear what worked and what didn’t.” Whenever they got home from a tour, they were infused with new ideas for how to finish the in-progress tunes, and many were upgraded in major ways thanks to the time Rocket took to hone them. “Recording the second half of the album eight months after the first half gave us a lot of time to think about what we were doing,” says Scaglione. “We ended up re-recording three songs because we felt like we could just do better.”
With guitarist Desi Scaglione again at the helm as their producer, Rocket logged time at two Los Angeles studios that provided the perfect balance between those extremes. They tracked the more introspective elements at 64 Sound in Highland Park, which offered an array of tasty vintage gear that was ideal for the quieter, more intimate tunes. The heavier moments were captured during sessions at the Foo Fighters’ Studio 606 in Northridge, where they could get the massive drum sound they wanted for tracks like “Crossing Fingers” and “Wide Awake.”

The LA shows were the kind of nights fans talk about for years: two sets in an intimate space packed with diehards, friends, and an enviable guest list of fellow musicians, filmmakers, and comedians. The band tore through a set that spanned their Dischord and Epic Records catalog, and debuted a new song, “Playback,” to an ecstatic crowd. From the stage, Wedren promised, “We are Shudder to Think and we intend to do this more!” - and the upcoming tour now delivers on that vow.

Last year, the band celebrated the 30th anniversary of their groundbreaking 1994 album Pony Express Record – their first album on Epic Records, following several releases on Dischord Records. Pitchfork called the album “a nugget of operatic, sinister, and gleefully self-aware art punk” and “an album that pushed the boundaries of mid-1990s indie rock in new and exhilarating directions,” and Stereogum noted it as “a masterwork of alternate dimension progressive pop.”
By the late-90’s, Shudder to Think dove into the world of scoring films and creating music for soundtracks with the 1998 releases of Jesse Peretz’s First Love, Last Rites; Lisa Cholodenko’s High Art and the Todd Haynes epic, Velvet Goldmine. Wedren and Larson have gone on to be prolific film and television composers with Wedren working on YELLOWJACKETS, Wet Hot American Summer, The School Of Rock, Laurel Canyon and more; and Larson working on Our Idiot Brother, The Skeleton Twins, Juliet, Naked and High Fidelity (TV series), among others.

It’s a new day for Soul Blind, and with the crack of dawn comes Red Sky Mourning, their second LP and debut for Closed Casket Activities due on October 10, 2025. Not only is this the Hudson Valley, NY-based band’s new release at a new home, it’s a snapshot of a band during exponential growth– musically, artistically and most importantly in maturity. When the alt-hard rock favorites took the world, and live stages, by storm in the wake of their critically loved and popular 2022 debut Feel It All Around, fans cherished the band’s take on 90s alternative in droves. Now with a new sound and a new lease on life, Soul Blind might be utterly unrecognizable from their previous selves. That is until that unmistakable curtain of guitars starts to engulf like molten hot magma, coupled with subterranean melodies that apply a white-knuckle grip around the throat and don’t let go. In the best way, naturally.
The first taste of Soul Blind’s new reign starts with “Hide Your Evil,” the band’s lead off single and the first track written for the record right after signing with Closed Casket. Opening with a ringing tone before evolving into a battering ram of stop-start guitars and swirling psychedelia, “Hide Your Evil” channels Helmet, Adrenaline/Around the Fur-era Deftones, and Quicksand among many others in its high-tension clobber. It’s the kind of song that can be sung sweetly or moshed to vigorously, which is exactly how they like it. “There are these two harmonics that start out the song that Finn has been playing over and over again with no intention of it really becoming something,” says guitarist Justin Sarica. "The whole song is around this one riff and collectively we were pretty pissed off and angry, so what came out was very hard and very fast. I think this song is also the closest thing to our previous stuff but is emblematic of the vibe we're trying to catch with the record– anger coupled with heaviness while simultaneously opening up to these melodic and pretty sections.”
Watch / share "Hide Your Evil" music video
[image error]Red Sky Mourning is Soul Blind’s highly anticipated sophomore effort, ten tracks spanning 35 minutes with big shoes to fill– the much loved Feel it All Around LP. And for this go around, Soul Blind enlisted Jon Markson and Adam Cichocki to capture the sound they cultivated after the extensive odometer clicks that came with the last offering. “We toured a lot off of 'Feel it All Around' and wanted to capture how we sounded live– and I think this is definitely closer to that,” admits bassist/vocalist Cen. ”People would come up to us after a show and tell us how heavy it sounded, so that was really important– capturing that energy. Jon and Adam were a great fit for us and it shows on the record.”
To harness the power of their live show, Soul Blind congregated at Animal Farm in Flemington, NJ for a month, a space that incubated recordings by Drug Church, Drain, KOYO and countless others. There the band explored their love for Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Melvins, mid to late-era Killing Joke, The Cure and all manner of early 90s alternative rock, boiling them down to an essence and passing them through Soul Blind’s hardcore and DIY-inflected sieve. The contained nature of the sessions yielded results that are a pensive, emotional journey through pain, isolation and darkness until eventual redemption and hope could be found with the rising sun.
Formed in 2018, Soul Blind has been a collaborative effort musically speaking, and the new album proved no different, with all four members contributing to the songwriting. The collective result is a magnifying glass into the lives of four discrete individuals coming to terms with their own humanity, growing and progressing as individuals. “When you're in a band like Soul Blind, and it's four people who are each songwriters, I really don't think I would have been able to contribute what I did if I hadn't gotten sober,” recalls guitarist Finn Lovell. “And my new sobriety definitely affected the record in several different ways. But we all individually had turmoil– whether it was my budding sobriety, helping a partner grieve the loss of a loved one, or understanding our own thoughts and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable. All of it shows on 'Red Sky Mourning' and I think that honesty shines brightly.”

They achieved mainstream popularity in the US in 1979 with the triple-platinum live album At Budokan and a Top 10 single, a live recording of “I Want You to Want Me.” More success followed with the album Dream Police in 1979, which reached number 6 on the Billboard 200.The band experienced another resurgence in late eighties when they topped US charts with power ballad, “The Flame.” Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016, Cheap Trick maintain an almost constant touring schedule, having performed live more than 5,000 times since their formation, selling more than 20 million albums and building a dedicated cult following.

OFF THE RECORD DOUBLE LP COMPILATION IN STORES OCTOBER 10

Internationally acclaimed drummer, producer, and sonic collagist Makaya McCraven returns to announce four distinct yet interconnected EPs — Techno Logic, The People’s Mixtape, Hidden Out!, and PopUp Shop — to be released on all music platforms October 31st. The four EPs are also compiled on a 2xLP and 2xCD physical release titled Off the Record, available for preorder now and in stores October 10th via International Anthem / Nonesuch / XL Recordings. Together they mark McCraven’s first recorded offerings since 2022’s In These Times (“McCraven’s most ambitious set of music” -GRAMMY) and a deep return to the signature “organic beat music” approach that Makaya first debuted on his 2015 album In The Moment and further developed across subsequent releases Highly Rare (2017), Where We Come From (2018), and Universal Beings (2018). Built from live recordings, the music is later reshaped by McCraven via extensive editing, overdubs, and post-production at his home studio in Chicago.
Listen to lead singles from each of the four EPs, and preorder Off the Record on 2LP/2CD here.
The source material from each EP is drawn from moments of pure improvisation, recorded live in performance, shaped as much by the room and audience as by the musicians themselves.

Techno Logic features Ben LaMar Gay and Theon Cross, and draws from performances in London (2017), Berlin (2024), and New York (2025), showcasing nearly eight years of developing rapport between the three musicians, starting with their very first session at Worldwide FM’s former North London studio. Listen to lead single “Technology” here.
The People’s Mixtape has its foundation in a live recording from Brooklyn’s Public Records in January of 2025, where McCraven celebrated the 10 year anniversary of In The Moment with an intentional return to the improvisational language he developed over that album’s sessions. For the occasion, McCraven played with bassist Junius Paul and trumpeter Marquis Hill (two musicians who are majorly present on In The Moment), as well as vibraphonist Joel Ross (who has been a regular collaborator of McCraven’s since the 2017 sessions for Universal Beings), and synthesist Jeremiah Chiu (marking the first occasion for McCraven to play with the SML co-leader and International Anthem labelmate). Listen to lead single “Choo Choo” here.
Hidden Out! is built off recordings from McCraven’s June 2017 residency at The Hideout in Chicago, where he improvised weekly with a revolving cast including bassist Junius Paul, Tortoise member, International Anthem labelmate, composer and guitarist Jeff Parker, and SML co-leader, GRAMMY-award winning producer and alto saxophonist Josh Johnson. Listen to lead single “Away” here.
PopUp Shop was created from recordings of McCraven’s Los Angeles debut at Del Monte Speakeasy in 2015, where McCraven took part in the King Hippo and Grown Kids Radio produced event RAWS:LA, and improvised with guitarist Jeff Parker, vibraphonist Justefan, and bassist Benjamin J. Shepherd. Listen to lead single “Imafan” here.
The OFF THE RECORD vinyl LP and CD compilation (available for preorder here) is not just a collection of these recordings, but a tactile document celebrating creative, communal, IRL moments of musical gathering.
Speaking on the record, McCraven says: “In a time where we’re increasingly connected through phones, in a virtual world where you can’t really tell what’s real or what’s fake, there’s something special where we come together and share space, there is something special where we are sharing music, art. I want to create an energy that amplifies the magic in the underground moments where we come together and we experience something wild, different, off the cuff, human. What I’m trying to present is a dreamlike alteration of that energy, which only exists in the recorded realm. But to actually have been there, in real life, is the special thing.”

Helmed by songwriter Kerry Alexander (guitar/vocals) and Chris Hoge (guitar/bass), Bad Bad Hats’ breakout debut album Psychic Reader just celebrated its 10 year anniversary! The critically acclaimed collection was a runaway success that continues to grow in its fandom, earning over 21 million streams on Spotify alone! Today they continue to celebrate the milestone by releasing the playful indie-punk single “Joseph (Ratboys Version)”. From the chugging four-chord progression and unison scream of “I want you!” to the crescendoing conclusion, “Joseph” has become both a fan favorite and one of Bad Bad Hats’ favorite songs to perform live.
Kerry shares, “What a treat to rediscover “Joseph” through Ratboys, one of the great live bands of our indie era. “Joseph” was one of the first truly collaborative Bad Bad Hats songs: Chris wrote the instrumental and I wrote the melody and lyrics on top of it. In their cover, I love how you can also hear the sum of the Ratboys’ parts: Dave’s distinct guitar-shredding, Julia’s iconic voice, etc. And who is Joseph? I’ll never tell.”
Listen / Share: “Joseph (Ratboys Version)”
“Joseph (Ratboys Version)” is the latest single off Psychic Readings, the digital companion album to the Psychic Reader (10th Anniversary Edition) vinyl reissue, featuring covers of every song on the original album by Squirrel Flower, The Ophelias, Hippo Campus, The Front Bottoms, Ratboys and more. Both are due out on August 29.
Psychic Reader highlights Bad Bad Hats’ cinematic sound, unshakeable pop hooks, punchy rhythm sections and several unexpectedly funky turns. Earning acclaim from fans, critics and fellow artists, the band has hit the road over the years with The Beths, Hippo Campus, The Front Bottoms, Third Eye Blind, Michelle Branch and more. Fans can experience the band’s captivating live show later this year and join them in celebrating 10 years of their enduring not-so-underground legacy.
