Laura Marling Shares "Wild Fire" + Announces North American Tour Dates

LAURA MARLING UNVEILS SECOND TRACK FROM FORTHCOMING NEW ALBUM, SEMPER FEMINA;PERFORMS ON A PRAIRIE HOME COMPANION THIS SATURDAY
ANNOUNCES NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES Laura Marling has unveiled "Wild Fire," the second track to be lifted from her forthcoming sixth studio album, Semper Femina.
Semper Femina is released on March 10 through More Alarming Records/Kobalt Music Recordings.
Listen to "Wild Fire" here: http://smarturl.it/LMWildfireVideo
Laura is a musical guest on esteemed traveling radio show A Prairie Home Companion on Saturday January 14th - broadcast live on NPR affiliates from 5pm-7pm Central Time.
26 year old English singer-songwriter Laura Marling's latest track is "Wild Fire." Taken from her forthcoming album  Semper Femina , it follows a loose, lyrical thread of feminine exploration. It drops a light on an unspecified 'muse' of Laura's, and sweeps in and out of focus on how the acclaimed musician views femininity as the years pass. It's not a concept record per se, but that aforementioned thread unravels and reaffirms throughout the record's duration.
"Wild Fire" follows the first single "Soothing," whose intimate video introduced Laura behind the camera lens in her directorial debut, and sequels to the video will follow throughout the album's unveiling.
Laura is a musical guest on esteemed radio show  A Prairie Home Companion  on Saturday, January 14th. The show - hosted by Chris Thile - will be broadcast live between 5pm - 7pm from The Symphony Theater in Chicago. Laura joins Chris, Andrew Bird and Beth Stelling on the bill. The show streams live on https://www.prairiehome.org.
Laura was only 20 years old when, in 2011, she was awarded the UK's Grammy equivalent BRIT Award for Best British Solo Female Artist. Recording since the age of 16,  Semper Femina  is her sixth album. A rich and enriching listen,  Semper Femina  is a typically mature and raw listen by one of our most talented and prolific young musicians of a generation. Following the release of  Semper Femina , Laura hits the road in support of it. Pre-order the album by end of day Sunday, January 15th for first access to tickets via http://smarturl.it/lauramarlingwebsite, or on general sale on Friday, January 20th.

HOMESHAKE REVEALS "EVERY SINGLE THING

Today Homeshake, the musical project of Peter Sagar, reveals " Every Single Thing ."  The new single is taken from his forthcoming album  Fresh Air  which is being released onFebruary 3 via Sinderlyn.
LISTEN to "Every Single Thing"cleared to post / share
Homeshake is happy to announce three upcoming shows in Brooklyn, NY in support of the album:
2/21 - Brooklyn, NY - Baby's All Right2/22 - Brooklyn, NY - Shea Stadium
2/23 - Brooklyn, NY - Silent Barn

"Every Single Thing" is the second single to date off Fresh Air.  Homeshake previously shared "Call Me Up" which Fader noted "pushes his bedroom R&B in a slightly funkier direction..a strong sense of hospitality is the track's most defining characteristic" and I Heart Moosiq said it, "envelops us in buttery smooth, swirling warm R&B pop, leaving us in a divinely relaxed state of mind."
DOWNLOAD / STREAM FRESH AIR HERE - please do not share the link, for review purposes only Born in the bleak isolation of the secluded prairie city of Edmonton, Canada, Peter Sagar worked with friends in a number of local bands before picking up and moving to Montreal in 2011 to begin recording under the Homeshake moniker. Following two self-released cassettes (The Homeshake Tapes and Dynamic Meditation) and two acclaimed full lengths (In The Shower and Midnight Snack), Sagar gives us Fresh Air.
Fresh Air continues Sagar's exploration of dreamy, downtempo bedroom R&B and draws inspiration from such disparate artists like Sade, The Band, Broadcast, Prince, and Angelo Badalamenti. As the title Fresh Air suggests, Sagar's songs were created to clear his listeners' minds of negativity. Full of smokey, laid back love songs and airy productions, Sagar's decidedly stoned sound is a breath of fresh air.

The Rural Alberta Advantage shares new track, shows next month

THE RURAL ALBERTA ADVANTAGESHARES NEW TRACK "BEACON HILL"PREMIERED VIA STEREOGUM
ROAD-TESTING SHOWSSCHEDULED FOR EUROPE IN JANUARY,WESTERN U.S. / CANADA IN FEBRUARY
NEW ALBUM DUE LATER THIS YEAR
VIA SADDLE CREEK / PAPER BAG
STREAM // EMBED "BEACON HILL"
"...Edenloff's songs of lost love can sneak up on you
even when the music hits you square on the chin." -  Pitchfork
"The Rural Alberta Advantage are best seen live, where their acoustic crescendos and Nils Edenloff's Jeff Mangum-esque vocal acrobatics impress most."  -  Under The Radar
"...[The Rural Alberta Advantage have] masterfully blended quiet moments of heartfelt lyricism, softly strummed acoustic guitars, and subtle synths along with bursts of
breakneck drum fills and breathlessly paced guitar chords." -  Consequence of Sound
Long-running Toronto indie-folk trio The Rural Alberta Advantage is proud to share a new track titled "Beacon Hill," which is about the wildfires that led to a total evacuation of RAA singer/guitarist Nils Edenloff's onetime home of Fort McMurray, AB earlier this year. The track premiered via  Stereogum , who noted that it finds Edenloff "feeling completely powerless to help, but sounding emboldened to not let what once was be forgotten." The track is available to stream or embed via Soundcloud  HERE .
The group has been touring recently with a set of small road-testing shows, previewing new material for a full-length coming later this year via Saddle Creek (U.S.) / Paper Bag Records (Canada) in the way they love best. The next shows will take the group throughout Germany and the U.K. this month. In February they'll return to North America for stops at the Bootleg Theater in Los Angeles onFebruary 20Bottom Of The Hill in San Francisco for the Noise Pop Festival on February 22, and theTractor Tavern in Seattle on February 24, followed by several Canadian dates in Vancouver,CalgaryEdmonton and more. The full list of tour dates can be found below, with more to be added soon.
The release of " Beacon Hill " comes on the heels of " White Lights ," a track the RAA released late last year. The track was released during the group's first run of road-testing dates, which led them through sold out shows in BrooklynChicago, and Minneapolis/St. Paul. The video for " White Lights ," which features footage from the Brooklyn and Minneapolis shows, can be watched  HERE .
The Rural Alberta Advantage's percussive folk songs about hometowns and heartbreak, and relentless tradition of touring have taken the trio from humble recognition amongst indie rock die-hards as "Canada's best unsigned band" to sold-out tours and devoted fans around the world with the likes of  Pitchfork The New York Times Rolling Stone  and  Spin Magazine  all taking note. The band was nominated for two 2012 Juno Awards (Best New Group and Video of the Year for their song "Stamp"), long-listed for the 2011 Polaris Award, and awarded the CBC Music Prize for Best Independent Artist in 2014.
The RAA has released three albums on Saddle Creek/Paper Bag Records:  Hometowns  (2009), Departing  (2011) and  Mended With Gold  (2014). The trio of Nils EdenloffPaul Banwatt and Robin Hatch are currently hard at work on the band's next album.
"I've never been good about focusing on a theme or having a specific plan at the outset of a new record," says Nils. "For me, writing music tends to be more of a constantly evolving process, like following one strange trail after another until a song has come to its general conclusion. This time around, we're following that natural writing process more and inviting fans to come along those trails with us."

Cherry Glazerr's forthcoming album Apocalipstick is due out January 20th via Secretly Canadian. In the meantime, the band have shared their new music video for "Nuclear Bomb". On the heels of a sold out run of shows in California, the band is days away from embarking on a massive tour and have announced a second leg of dates as of today. A portion of the proceeds from the tour will be donated to support Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, which provides life-saving cancer screenings, birth control, prevention and treatment of STDs and sexual health education to Los Angeles County's women, men and teens. Additionally, the band have been announced on the lineup for Panorama Festival in New York City this July.
"Nuclear Bomb" follows two previously shared songs from the record, "Nurse Ratched" and "Told You I'd Be With Guys". The latter of which dealt with issues of female solidarity and earned praise from The New York Times who noted "she finds herself stranded between the 'ladies' she mistakenly left behind and the guys she is wary of." Meanwhile, The Los Angeles Times proclaimed it "the best song yet from a band poised for greatness", while Pitchfork awarded it 'Best New Track' honors while calling the song "a massive step forward".
Apocalipstick is the band's first album for Secretly Canadian and was recorded at Hollywood's iconic Sunset Sound studio with acclaimed producers Joe Chicarrelli (The Strokes, My Morning Jacket, The White Stripes) and Carlos De La Garza (Bleached, M83, Paramore). It is available for preorder now. All digital preorders will come with instant grats of "Nuclear Bomb", "Told You I'd Be With The Guys" and "Nurse Ratched". About Cherry Glazerr:
Society would deem that a prodigious girl can't be in a progressive rock band while also being in complete control of its creative vision, business plan and social messaging. Society is wrong. Clementine Creevy, a 19 year old teen Queen with a headstrong resolve like her hero Patti Smith and a cartoon laugh like Muttley the dog, dreamed up Cherry Glazerr in her LA bedroom alone and is perhaps more capable of figuring a music career out than anyone who attempts this treacherous life path. And yet, she carries herself very lightly. "This one's going to be a flop!" she jokes, here to discuss the newly lined-up trio's second album, Apocalipstick. It's every bit as epic, funny, life-assuring, doom-defiant and flaming fire as that title sounds. What's more, it's the soundtrack to their collective rockstar evolution.
Today things look a little different from the band's early days back in 2014 when they were associated with much-loved Cali imprint Burger Records (who put out their intoxicating debut Haxel Princess) and Suicide Squeeze (who released the Had Ten Dollaz 7-inch). Back then, they were born as a different trio, featuring Hannah Uribe and Sean Redman who have since both moved onto other artistic pursuits.
Now bolstering Clem's vision is the loud-in-every-way-possible drummer Tabor Allen and the level-headed but bad-ass, multi-instrumentalist Sasami Ashworth who plays synths and notably French Horn (Clem is still scheming on how to incorporate that into Cherry Glazerr's sound). The first time the new trio all jammed together minds were blown. "My world was rocked," recalls Clem. "I'd never played with someone who was technically that good before. It made me think, Man I gotta really step my shit up!" On Apocalipstick the band worked with "rock'n'roll wizard" Joe Chicarelli [White Stripes, The Shins, The Strokes] and Carlos de la Garza [Bleached, M83, Tegan and Sara]. Understandably the band felt a sense of vulnerability when laying themselves bare to Joe, a producer they had so much respect for. Dispelling her own sense of ego was an added hurdle for Clem, but it allowed for their greatest risk-taking as a band yet and has paid off exponentially. "I didn't even smoke weed during pre-production because I didn't wanna disappoint Joe. I didn't wanna get in trouble!" laughs Clem. She adds, "Making a record is such a spiritual thing. You laugh, you cry, you're miserable and the happiest you'll ever be." Tabor chimes in with typically comedy drummer timing, "It was so much simpler than that for me. Just, 'These drums sound sick." The band's newfound self-discipline and motivation has evolved Cherry Glazerr into a wildly complex, hugely guitar heavy, and unapologetically loud machine. "People may be shocked by the jump in our sound," says Sasami, eager to establish that this record isn't intended to be some fancy statement about reaching their pinnacle. It was simply an opportunity they couldn't turn down. Clem has since learned how to quit focusing her attention on the fans or wider critical response. "There was a time when I just couldn't write songs because of that. You can't do that," she says. "You can't be emotionally free if you're pandering to anyone. Serving the music is the one and only thing that matters." That's hard when you have people telling you what to do all the time. "Comedy in music is extremely important to me because humour is all we have as human beings," Clem adds. The jests are particularly strong on the disgustingly catchy track 'Trash People' - it's quite literal in its self-deprecation levels. "That's a fun song about how I have dirty fucking habits," says Clem. "It's about being road rats, nasty ass, dirty fuckers. That's how I like to live." 'Instagratification' is a tongue-in-cheek musing on social media narcissism, which the band admit to feeding off. Sasami notes that women are shamed so much more often for their posts: "Who the fuck cares? If you wanna post a photo of your pussy go for it! The ultimate white privilege is sweating the small shit, judging people for things that don't matter." When it comes to sweating the major shit, Cherry Glazerr live like they want to see others live. They don't want to preach certain politics, they'd rather hold court for an open discourse. The subject of equality among the sexes, however, holds a special, unavoidable place for Clem, torchbearer for feminism in its raddest forms. That's so key to her aesthetic that it's the opening sentiment ofApocalipstick via the anthemic, disaster-laden 'Told You I'd Be With The Guys'. The song documents Clem's realization that she needed to establish solidarity with other women and stop being a "lone wolf". "Sexism is so ingrained in me, I can often feel that men are the only ones who can help me socially, economically. The most important thing in my life is that I've realized I need to work for solidarity. That song's both hopeful and dismal!" she laughs. Clem still feels the constant need to prove herself. "Women work from behind their oppression. In order to make good art you need to be emotionally free and sadly, not a lot of women are able to do that. That always puts a fire under my ass."

Minus the Bear are excited to announce their new album VOIDS, due out March 3rd. VOIDS is the Seattle band’s sixth full-length album, and first new LP in half a decade. It also marks the band’s return to their original label home, Suicide Squeeze Records, a longtime pillar of the Emerald City’s vaunted indie rock scene. Fans can hear “Invisible”, the first single off VOIDS, and learn more about the album via an interview with Noisey posted today. Minus the Bear have also announced a 29 date spring tour with support from Beach Slang and Bayonne.  Tickets are on sale this Friday, January 13th at 10 am local time, but a limited VIP pre-sale is available now via vip.minusthebear.com. A full list of dates and tour poster can be found below.

For the past 15 years Minus the Bear have made music on their own terms while carving out their own unique musical world, selling over 500k records in the process and playing to countless sold out crowds along the way. This isn’t to say they’re impervious to outside influence. They’ve borrowed components from a wide swath of genres—the brainy clangor of New York’s proto-punk scene, the cerebral buzz of IDM, the poptimist evaluation of hip-hop and R&B, and the grandiose visions of prog rock—but always managed to defy classification.
Throughout the first decade of their existence, every new album offered a new musical approach, as seen in the idiosyncratic fretboard gymnastics of Highly Refined Pirates, the glitchy loops of Menos el Oso, or the modernized Fripp- inspired wizardry of Planet of Ice. By the time the band entered our current decade, their knack for reinvention yielded to an emphasis on refinement. Albums like OMNI and Infinity Overhead searched for a middle ground where their myriad of stylistic approaches could all work within the context of a single record.
On their sixth album VOIDS, produced by Sam Bell (The Cribs, Weezer, Bloc Party, Two Door Cinema Club), Minus the Bear started with a blank slate, and inadvertently found themselves applying the same starting-from-scratch strategies that fueled their initial creative process. “There was a lot of change and uncertainty,” says guitarist David Knudson. “I think the general vibe of emptiness, replacement, lacking, and longing to fill in the gaps was very present in everyones’ minds.”
Change was everywhere. Keyboardist/vocalist Alex Rose took on a more prominent role in composition and handled lead vocal duties in Jake Snider’s stead on songs like “Call the Cops,” “Tame Beasts,” and “Robotic Heart,” drummer Kiefer Matthias joined the fold, producer Bell lent a fresh set of ears in the studio, and the band returned to their original label home at Suicide Squeeze Records. Minus the Bear were no longer swept along by the momentum that had driven them for the last fifteen years. Instead, they reached a point where they could recalibrate and redefine who they were as a musical entity. The resulting album VOIDS retains many of the band’s signature qualities—the hedonistic tales of nighttime escapism and candid vignettes of adulthood, the savvy up-tempo beats, the layered and nuanced instrumentation—while simultaneously reminding us of the musical wanderlust that initially put them on the map.
Minus The Bear is Jake Snider (vocals, guitar), Dave Knudson (guitar), Cory Murchy (bass guitar), and Alex Rose (synthesizers, vocals).
Suicide Squeeze Records is proud to release VOIDS to the world on March 3rd, 2017 on CD, LP and cassette. The first pressing of the album is available on 1,000 copies of Electric Blue (Minus The Bear exclusive) vinyl, 5,000 copies of splatter colored vinyl and 5,000 copies of 180 gram black vinyl. The LP jacket features PMS inks, a die-cut cover with a printed inner sleeve and contains a download code. The cassette version is limited to 500 copies and also includes a download code.

Orenda And Todd Fink Announce New Band CLOSENESS; Debut EP Personality Therapy To Be Released February 24

ORENDA AND TODD FINK ANNOUNCE NEW BAND CLOSENESS

STREAM NEW TRACK “MORE ROMANTIC” AT STEREOGUM
PERSONALITY THERAPY , THE DUO’S FORTHCOMING DEBUT EP, TO BE RELEASED FEBRUARY 24 ON GRAVEFACE RECORDS Stream: "More Romantic" at Stereogum or Soundcloud
CLOSENESS will release their debut EP Personality Therapy on February 24 via Graveface Records. The EP is available to pre-order digitally and on limited edition vinyl now in the Graveface Records Online Store . The band have shared the first single "More Romantic" from the forthcoming EP with Stereogum, and the song is also available to share via Soundcloud orBandcamp. CLOSENESS will be performing live at March at SXSW.
Todd Fink (born Todd Baechle) and wife Orenda Fink converged first on tour, then in love and now in music. CLOSENESS, the couple’s first group together, is the result of two incredibly talented musicians melding in life and in art.
Both halves of this new project have work spanning a variety of venerated musical outfits. Todd is most notably the frontman of The Faint, while Orenda is best known as one-half of the slick Azure Ray, and has credits including Moby, Bright Eyes, Paul Kalkbrenner, Eric Bachmann, Delerium, Sparklehorse, and Isaac Brock.
Todd and Orenda had often talked about starting a band together after meeting and falling in love in 2002 (married in 2005) but had always been busy with other projects.
In 2015, they were energized to finally realize their vision for a band together. In an amalgam of their previous work, CLOSENESS emerges with an electronic but shadowy southern gothic sound. Todd’s high-energy, cool and synthetic voice lifts and energizes Orenda’s mystical and warm-hearted aura.
Their debut work, which Todd  recorded, produced and mixed in his home studio, is ripe with dreamlike scenarios, skirting the edge of otherworldliness. Pulsating rhythms boom and break around futuristic vocals from both. Together, they create a unified archetype that is moody, therapeutic and deeply inspired by the most basic questions about life, meaning, love and death.
Musically, the two are inspired by The Knife, Pink Floyd, The Zombies, Tr/st, Crystal Castles, John Carpenter, and Health. The couple also cites Alan Watts, Carl Jung, Alejandro Jodorowiski, G.I. Gurdjieff, Tibetan Book Of The Dead, i, and The Enneagram in their catalog of general influences.

For complete details and regular news updates, please visit www.bonnaroo.com. The Bonnaroo era began in 2002, immediately decreed by Rolling Stone as one of the "50 Moments That Changed The History of Rock 'n' Roll." Each year since has seen the annual event consistently expanding the parameters of what a music festival can offer in the 21st century. America's only major round-the-clock music festival, Bonnaroo presents fans with a seemingly infinite number of options, from the silent disco to its 5k race and yoga classes. Innumerable artisans and high quality craft vendors can be also found, along with an innovative food and drink lineup. 2016 saw the grand opening of more than 400 permanent toilets and hundreds of permanent shower stalls and water filling stations, all made possible by Great Stage Park's investment in its own devoted water line, to provide Bonnaroovians with a more enhanced festival experience. What's more, Bonnaroo's renowned Comedy Theatre has hosted countless superstars as well as comedians long before they became household names, including unforgettable appearances from Judd Apatow, Amy Schumer, Zach Galifianakis, Marc Maron, Louis C.K., Aziz Ansari, Chris Rock, Nick Kroll, Conan O'Brien, David Cross, Tig Notaro, Hannibal Buress, Daniel Tosh, Donald Glover, John Oliver, Adam Devine, Reggie Watts, Ilana Glazer, Abbi Jacobson, Bridget Everett and others.

Many of these stars come back just to visit and enjoy the unique Bonnaroo experience that often times results in memorable collaborations, like when Galifianakis dropped in with friend Jon Hamm to perform in the Comedy theatre and in the SuperJam, or when Bob Saget was joined by TV brother-in-law and real-life best friend John Stamos, or when Apatow brought along Kevin Nealon and then Eddie Vedder dropped in to sing an original song with him. As with all things Bonnaroo, expect the unexpected at the Comedy Theatre. The 2017 comedy lineup will be announced soon. The Bonnaroo Cinema experience has grown into an important showcase for contemporary independent films and filmmakers, each year offering an eclectic schedule of world premieres, major music documentaries, cult classics, and much more. Bonnaroo's seated, air-conditioned cinema also hosts an A-list array of one-of-a-kind happenings, spanning director spotlights, interactive screenings, live film scoring, and high energy Q&A sessions with special guest artists and actors. Bonnaroo is a truly global event, with tickets purchased in all 50 U.S. states and over 40 countries around the world. As one of the planet's foremost musical events, Bonnaroo has drawn major mainstream attention and critical applause each and every year. "For 15 years, Bonnaroo has lured festival-goers from all corners of the country with a unique mix of positive vibes, good food and great music," raved Rolling Stone in its annual "25 Best Things We Saw At Bonnaroo" wrap-up last year. "Bonnaroo creates the closest thing we have to the spirit of Woodstock," explainedConsequence of Sound, "with a contemporary utopian twist where the jocks and the hippies get along, where the young and old can play together without ever getting caught up in preconceived opinions." "Bonnaroo 2016 marked yet another stride forward," wrote The Line of Best Fit, "as the festival continues to hit upon the perfect cross section of conservation and taking care of attendees...Bonnaroo is, at the end of the day, one of the best, most unique music festivals in the country." The 2016 Bonnaroo "was surely one for the books," declared Vibe, "memorable, momentous and unreal, bringing together the likes of hip-hop heavyweights, appealing alt acts, R&B's newest vanguards, genre-bending DJ's and much more that kept festival-goers jamming 'til sunrise." Perhaps Paste summed it up best: "There's a feeling of camaraderie amongst attendees here that you rarely find anywhere else - it's why we brave the heat and the elements every year and keep coming back, to see music we love with people who feel just as passionate as we do. Here's to the next 15 years." Bonnaroo is indeed proud to be one of America's most environmentally friendly festivals, the only major event in the world with its own permanent solar array and compost waste on site. The festival also works with a team of 100% volunteers who collect food from its vendors and on-site caterers to donate over 20,000 LBS of food to a local food bank who feeds families in need, senior citizens and other members of the local community. Since its very first day, Bonnaroo has been diligent in its pursuit of true sustainability. The festival has twice been recognized by the state of Tennessee, winning the Governor's Environmental Stewardship Award as well as the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation's Pursuit of Excellence Award. Complete details, as well as Bonnaroo's annual report to the fans, can be found atwww.bonnaroo.com/experience/sustainability. In addition, 2009 saw the formal establishment of the Bonnaroo Works Fund, a 501c3 nonprofit organization, serving as the philanthropic division of Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. The mission of the Bonnaroo Works Fund (BWF) is to support local, regional and national organizations that advance arts, education, and environmental sustainability. Since the inception of the festival in 2002, more than $7 million in support has been generated, largely benefiting Manchester, TN,  Coffee County and surrounding areas. A few of the national organizations that have provided local and regional support include First Book, Notes For Notes, Little Kids Rock and  Music For Relief - along with nearly 100 others. Lily & Madeleine Announce Shows For February

LILY & MADELEINE ANNOUNCE FULL-BAND SHOWSFOR HEADLINING U.S. TOUR  KEEP IT TOGETHER  OUT NOW ON NEW WEST  “Lily & Madeleine fold stunning harmonies into brushed drums, dreamy strings, and soft keys—and fade into you in the process.” NYLON NASHVILLE, TN, January 11, 2017 – Following an extensive U.S. tour supporting Brett Dennen last Fall and a successful UK run with Dawes in November, Indianapolis-based sister duo Lily & Madeleine have announced an upcoming headlining tour in select U.S. cities beginning in Chicago, IL on February 15. They will be joined by bandmates Shannon Hayden and Kate Siefker for the nine-show run, which also includes dates in Milwaukee, Minneapolis, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. Please see below for full tour details. All shows are on sale now and ticket links can be found HERE. These full-band shows will feature songs from Lily & Madeleine’s critically acclaimed third LP  Keep It Together , which released last February on New West Records, as well as fan favorites from their debut and sophomore albums. Keep It Together received rave reviews as critics took note of the sisters’ refreshing and mature new direction.  NPR Music  praised, “The harmonies from these Indiana-based sisters have always been outstanding. But now on their third album, Keep It Together, Lily and Madeleine have added more texture to their songs,” adding, “What are they going to be doing in 10 years if this is where they are already. That's incredible.” Additionally,  Uncut  enthused, “Lily and Madeleine Jurkiewicz’s exquisite harmonies and gentle melodies are still present and correct, though here they venture beyond their initial ‘70s folk sound. ‘Not Gonna,’ ‘Westfield,’ and ‘Hourglass’ shimmer with gentle orchestral soul, while the guitar-driven ‘For The Weak’ is both laconic and robust, like Sleater-Kinney without the spikes. The added muscle suits them... Keep It Together is a work of serious, subtle beauty.” Lily & Madeleine have also gained considerable attention for the creative and inventive music videos that accompanied the album’s standout tracks. Their recent video for “Westfield” showed the duo as stars in a thrilling musical horror flick and was featured by NPR’s  All Songs TV Previously, the video for the album’s first single “Hourglass” premiered at  Entertainment Weekly , which hailed the song and complementing visuals as a “musical dreamscape”; while  Paste  lauded the “dreamy pop video” orchestrated by director George Salisbury (The Flaming Lips) in the guitar-heavy “For The Week,” and NPR Music called the enchanting video for “Hotel Pool” “pure beauty.” Please see below to view/share the songs. "Westfield" [Official Video] "Hourglass" [Official Music Video] "For The Weak" [Official Music Video] "Hotel Pool" [Official Video]  LILY & MADELEINE ON TOUR February 15 – Evanston, IL @ SpaceFebruary 16 – Milwaukee, WI @ Colectivo CoffeeFebruary 17 – Minneapolis, MN @ Bryant Lake BowlFebruary 18 – Davenport, IA @ The Village TheaterFebruary 19 – St. Louis, MO @ Off Broadway NightclubFebruary 22 – Newport, KY @ Southgate House RevivalFebruary 23 – Columbus, OH @ Rumba CafeFebruary 24 – Naperville, IL @ North Central CollegeFebruary 25 – Indianapolis, IN @ Deluxe at Old National Centre
