I found this photo wedged in the back of "Love Is a Dog from Hell" shortly before I was to take it back and pay it's $90 overdue fee. It's probably not worth $90 but some things, found and unfound, are always priceless.

Devil Out!

My boyfriend says this is probably a Mormon baptism and that it's an important rite of passage, so this photo is probably missed. Most of the time I'm happy not knowing about the things I find but I wish I had found the entire album. I'd like to know more about this kid.

I Am Not an Assassin

I saw the woman who put it there as I was approaching the house. I thought she was a salesperson, so I asked what she wanted. She said only "I just want to give you this flyer." Then she rushed pass me and down the block. I assume she was going door to door with them.

I found this Valentine dangling from a deflated balloon, tangled in the branches of a tree outside of my office building. It was an icy day the week before Valentine's Day.
