12:30-1:45 - Romance Charades-Participants will get a chance to act out their favorite scenes or titles from romance novels. Prizes awarded!
SATURDAY
10:15 – 11:15 - Romance Pictionary- Teams will compete against each other to draw and guess clues from romance novels. Prizes and chocolate awarded.
11:15-12:15 – Romance Cover Puzzles-· Large jigsaw puzzles of romance novel covers placed around the room. The first team to complete their puzzle receives a prize.

What Are You Reading?
I spent the last few days reading Shelly Laurenston’s BITE ME in her PRIDE Series. I adore her books. I call them Shifter Insanity (in the nicest possible way). If you like the LOL (and in public) type of books, can suspend ALL disbelief and just live in her world, I HIGHLY recommend her!

Reality
I just got home from the ER with my youngest who is almost 18. She was in a car accident this morning on the way to school and we are so lucky she’s OK except for a pounding headache and nausea. A CAT scan and X-Ray show she really is fine. But too often people aren’t so lucky. This past week, a fellow romance author, Jackie Barbosa, lost her 16 year old son in a car accident. And so I know first hand how fortunate I was yesterday morning. So today’s blog is to say THANK YOU … and to reflect.
Over the weekend, I donated to the Julian Fraire Memorial Fund in memory of Jackie’s son. There are plans to create a scholarship fund in his name with the donations. If you’d like to donate, the link is below. Any amount big or small is greatly appreciated. The link below leads to a website with a link to a Paypal account set up by Beverly Kendall, who is a close friend of the family and is coordinating donations on their behalf.

Yes, Alex O’Laughlin really does remind me of Alex Dare (maybe a little older). And MY Alex wants you to know – He really IS working on his relationship with Ian (DARE TO LOVE) … Really. 16 Days & Counting!

“I get why you walked out on Riley after she landed herself in the hospital,” Alex admitted as the guy behind the bar slid a tumbler toward Ian.
His brother took a long sip. “Can’t say it was one of my finer moments. Looking back, I don’t think it was the right way to handle things.”
Alex raised an eyebrow. “What would’ve worked better?” They both knew Riley had been as stubborn in her own beliefs as Madison now was in hers.
“I should have cuffed her to the bed until she saw reason.” Ian lifted his glass. “A little dominance once in awhile doesn’t hurt.”
Alex shook his head and grinned. “Probably more than I want to know about your relationship, but I get your point.” He swallowed a gulp, closing his eyes at the soothing burn. “I threatened to take her over my knee,” he muttered.
