DARE TO WANT MORE …
So I’m going to a lot of conferences this year and I know I need to have goodies made. I rather do generic ones than book-oriented ones because that way I can order in bulk and not worry they’ll go out of date. So I brainstormed a new descriptive tag line for my books … I think you’ll like this one. Incorporates the current series without dating the items. Ready?

And of course I wanted my familiar logo, so I turned the fabulous Su, at Earthly Charms and VOILA!
Now I can’t wait to see what she does with it in actual items. Those haven’t been designed yet. So what do you all think? You like? I think it’s very … ME!

Rumor Has it & Brady Speaks
So sorry today’s post is late. Carly’s still sick. Today may be my day here but I need her to get it all written out, you know? Rumor has it, and I can’t prove it, and she won’t admit it, but Carly once spoke to a pet psychic. (snicker). Point is, from this, I understand Carly took this one point: Every dog has its purpose and eventually they figure out what it is. Okay laughing aside, this makes sense. I’m a cuddler. She needs cuddling. Often. (Needy human). Which is OK since I happen to need it back. But Buddy was a cuddler too and Bailey is … to put it nicely, NOT. So that’s my job. Apparently.
But I have some other jobs today too.

Healthy or …
I am getting a cold. 
Not happy since I already had one horrible cold this winter and considering how cold (the temperature kind) and snowy and miserable it’s been here in NY, I think I’ve had enough of it all. So forgive me if I don’t have a witty blog post today.
How has your winter been health-wise? Lots of colds and stuff or not bad? I promise if you post you’ve been healthy, there is no jinxing on this blog.

Friends
BLOG: I don’t have a green thumb. In fact, I have no real plants in my house except one. (Will get to that in a sec). I also can kill plants outside my front door because if they need to be hand watered, there’s a chance of bees and sorry. Not happening. Phobic. But when my dad passed away, my plotmonkey pals, Janelle Denison, Julie Leto and Leslie Kelly sent me this plant. Note, my dad passed a year and a half ago. Plant is still here. Also note, plant has outgrown its holder – I had to have it replanted in something bigger because … GASP … it was thriving! It’s survived vacations where I come home and it’s wilted and bone dry, it’s survived being drowned instead of merely watered. Clearly … it’s a survivor. I like to think it’s because my friends sent it to me at such a sad time. It reminds me of them. And dad.
And the other day, I didn’t like the brown tips on the end of the leaves, so I snipped them at the bottom of the stems and cut off all the brown tipped leaves. I pruned it back a bit, so it could look pretty and grow. Which reminds me, I need to buy it a new holder that it fits inside of. Don’t you think? But the old smaller one is so pretty …

Dog Days
We admit it. We find it difficult to relax. I mean, look at us. We have a very rough life. Before we stretch out and really let ourselves sleep, we wanted to tell you a few things:

We don’t understand. We want Carly to earn money to keep us in dog biscuits. But she feels she should offer one of her books to readers who haven’t had a chance to read her books and see how great she is (our words, not hers) – there’s a preview of DARE TO LOVE in the back of KISMET so if you like that book, you can buy. 1. The copy edits are finished on Alex’s story, DARE TO DESIRE and Carly’s reading and proofing for the last time. Then she says it’s on to formatting and ARC time!
2. DARE TO LOVE in AUDIO is also in final stages and being proofed before being put on sale! Apparently a lot of you like to listen to your stories? So coming very soon.
3. YAWN. Sorry. We’re supposed to remind you that Carly has two books up for PREORDER …. DARE TO DESIRE 4/10/14 (at iBooks and Amazon) and DARE TO SURRENDER 7/15/14 (at iBooks). Also supposed to tell you not to panic, that these books will be available in all formats including print on release day. Audio too but maybe a bit later in the release month. Whatever that means. We’re just dogs.
