What Are You Reading?
I just finished Aline Hunter’s Alpha Mine – a great book but very tied to the stories that came before it. Just FYI. I also read an ARC of Never Been Kissed by the always fabulous #Ink_Heart pal and friend Mari Carr. This book is for everyone who’s felt “less than.” In other words, most of us at one time or another. So check it out and preorder. And lastly, I’m reading Roxie by Kimberly Dean. I’ve been waiting for the third Triplet in her Triple X series and thoroughly enjoying! WHAT ARE YOU READING?

Headaches … ugh
I don’t know if it’s the weather – the humidity, the heat, the thunderstorms that roll in and out … or if it’s just cyclical but dealing with headaches again. Those of you who know me for awhile know this is nothing new. I’m working through it but it’s a pain in the ya know. So bear with me. Need More Hours in the Day!
I do, I do, I do! This Indie Gig is awesome but it is also kicking my butt. I’m chief chef, cook and bottle washer (love that expression) and heaven forbid I have something in my personal “Karen” life to do … and I feel like I lose an entire year’s time in a couple of hours. I’m a really organized person so it’s not about making lists or working smarter or better. And the writing is getting done. It’s just … when I’m not working I want to be home working because I know what’s piling up! I also know my limitations and I need 8 hours of sleep, so working later or getting up earlier won’t be happening. And I need to add exercise back into my life. WAAH! I seriously need more hours in the day!
